Glossier has cloud paint! I would recommend trying on in store if there’s one near you, they have a lot of shades for different skin tones.

K-beauty is great. But the “10 step” idea is more likely harmful than helpful for your skin since you are likely to over expose you skin to harmful ingredients :/ I included a link to a video where Hyram helps explain it but I’ll sum up what he said too. When you would normally get X amount of a vitamin/ingredient in one product and that is fine but if you multiply it across several products...you see what I mean? Often the main irritant from that sort of process is fragrance. Which if you didn’t know, companies don’t have to tell you what ingredients make up the label “fragrance”. Having a routine is good but toners, essences, and face masks can all often address the same issues in one product. 10 steps is overkill. Save your money and stick with something that’s more like 4 to 6 things(?) my not an expert guess haha. Anyways! My favorite Korean brands are iUNIK and Purito. They have great skincare with some fragrance free options. Hope that helps! :)

Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer is AMAZING and very overlooked... a little more affordable than the Tatcha one and works the same in my opinion. This is my go to on clients with large pores. Also, Urban Decay makes possibly the world’s most loved setting spray, and they just came out with the matte version of it.

I use this one and it’s my favorite. I tried it almost two years ago and, since then, i never reached towards a different one. It’s my favorite by far and it has spf in it which is really good for the skin and it helps the foundation stay on longer

I have oily T Zone bad. By the middle of the day I am super shiny and oily. I have used Clinique Beyond Perfecting I love it but turns me orange after awhile. I have used Too Faced Peach Mattifyjng. I want to try Fenty Mattifyjng. I just want to know the best for oily skin. Even drug store recommendations would be ok. But I tend to break out on the cheaper foundations. I want full coverage as well. So far the Too Faced Peach is the best so far but willing to try other. I am sick of being shiny by middle of day and having to use my Beauty Blender blotters. I use E.L.F poreless putty primer or W n W Matte Priner so priner reco would be good too. I also use Clinique setting powder. Just help sick of being Oily. Oh! And I use Born This Way full cover Concealor. I was using De-Slick UD Setting Spray as well but now use E.L.F Matter spray. So any and all reco please for all the above! TIA

I have super oily skin my t zone is even worse. I also have super sensitive skin. I use the body shop’s seaweed line (it’s for oily skin) in conjunction with with the tea tree line for when I’m having acne. But I literally load up on anything and everything the is “mattifying” or is matte for moisturizers and primers. I also bake. Even my foundations are matte. I don’t use everything in the picture all together but these are the products I’ve found work for me and my acne prone skin. Depending on the day and how much makeup I wear and whether or not I’m having a breakout kind of determines with group I use. When I’m not breaking out and I’m just gonna wear a a sheer coverage foundation or a BB cream, the elf+ matte line works well with the elf oil control primer mist. I have classes from 8 in the morning and then work until 6 in the afternoon and usually don’t get home until 7ish and my makeup lasts. When I get home I usually notice that I’m getting oily but it’s not a gross looking oily, I look “luminous” on my t zone. When I’m wearing full coverage foundation I use the body shop line. But, I also feel like the heavier the products you use, the more oil your skin is going to produce. Which means your makeup isn’t going to last as long. On my full coverage days I usually carry around blotting mist, blotting powder, and blotting paper as well. Generally if I can get away with it, I stick with sheer coverage foundations. If I want a little more coverage I’ll add some full coverage foundation to my sheer coverage but not a lot. Just so that I can keep it as light as possible. I’ll also use powder foundations in conjunction with liquid sheer coverage. Sorry that was so much but I hope it helps!!!

I forgot to add, one thing I really like about the elf+ matte lotion and primer is that it has tea tree oil in it to help fight acne. Tea tree oil has become my holy grail for acne!

Hey everybody, I’m new to the whole makeup game and one thing I’ve really been struggling with is eyeshadow. I was wondering if any of you have some criticisms/tips to share? Especially for eyes like mine? Oh and I’d also like to know how I did for doing this kind of look on my own? (Quite recent, maybe a month ago? I don’t wear makeup as often) Personally, I think my makeup looks kinda muddy but I’m usually very hard on myself. I’m completely a beginner and I have no clue what I’m doing lmao

Have you tried this^... The Benzoyl Peroxide is perfect for any skin and will dry out everything even dark spots. I would leave it on as a spot treatment which was a thin layer over the skin since the product will create a perfect like white mask and wake up and wash it off and it will leave my skin flawless in the morning. You can use it as a cleanser if you desire which I recommend at first so your skin adapts but other then that this product worked for me.

I always heard Shea butter was a good moisturizer, so I bought raw shea butter and used it on my face. After a few weeks I noticed I would get pimples and my skin would feel dry, which was odd. Until I heard that it’s supposed to trap in moister, so if you put a serum beforehand and then shea butter it would lock it in but i heard if your skin is dry and you put nothing before shea butter it would lock in that dryness. Is this true? Has anyone experienced this? Oh and I believe I might have dehydrated skin. #sheabutter #moisturizer #dehydrated

Try a hydrating ingredient like aloe Vera under a moisturizer! You’re right, lots of moisturizers are actually humectants. They seal in moisture, but don’t add any to the skin. Adding a hydrating ingredient like aloe or a hydrating essence or toner underneath will help this.

Any product with Vitamin C like a serum will help with dark circles and spots, (I use the Soap&Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash every morning for a full 60 seconds) and I would also recommend the CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion, as it is oil-free and gentle on sensitive skin. Moisture is the key to preventing fine lines and wrinkles. For dark circles, you can also use Turmeric! There are lots of DIY under-eye masks you can make with a few simple ingredients to brighten dark circles!

I just got into the skincare and taking better self care of myself now. Since I’m still new and use water as the only source of cleaning my face, may I ask if anyone recommended me any good sunscreen? I have sensitive skin, as well as combination! Oh, also since my skin color is already dark, please recommend non-tinted sunscreen!

@Nicolette Campbell wow, it’s like I’m hearing myself speak lmao. I actually just bought mine off of AliExpress, which can be known for some shitty stuff too, but you just need to know where to look 😉 free shipping too that took just over a week I think which is worth it to me. Ok guys. I have a long, detailed list of skin concerns and I’m a little at a loss of where to go from here. I recently have developed cystic acne (isn’t that lovely? I developed cystic acne AFTER puberty? Love that for me) and the stuff I use for my face (tretinoin cream) has made my skin even more sensitive than it already was. On top of that, I have oily skin. I attached a pic of what happens to my makeup after ab two hours). Oh, and on top of that, my face is sensitive to sunscreen. So there’s another constraint applied to the algebra problem that is my face. Does anyone have any advice of what to do here/what products (ie foundation/concealer) to buy? #oily #sensitive #cysticacne #foundation #concealer #acne #help 😭

Adult acne is pretty common, I got it bad at 19-20, but honestly the best you can do is go to a dermatologist, they’ll help you more than any over the counter product can, hope it helps!
