Does anyone with Combo skin have a good serum? Growing up I had the WORST skin so I’ve become very dedicated to my skin care routine and I’ve always been so scared to use serums because of how oily my t-zone can be.. but I want to so bad!! Any help or tips are much appreciated!!

I really love the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum, it helps me to balance my skin and control sebum production and maintain the moisture of my skin in my other areas. It's also very cheap for a high quality product, which always helps haha. I use it day and night!
I have combination acne prone skin. I am experiencing some dryness and irritation around my mouth. I use CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser, this niacinamide serum, spf moisturizer in the morning and CeraVe Daily Moisturizer at night, and the AHA and BHA Ordinary Chemical peel at night 1 time a week. I am wondering if anyone else has had problems with irritation from any of these products. Am I supposed to be applying the serums around my mouth?
I have combo skin too and discovered that when my skin was dried out and dehydrated it lead to more break outs. I upped my moisturizer and it helped a lot. Maybe try the Cerave Night Moisturizer? And a gentler cleanser.
@JustineAylward yes yes yes yes yes!!!! The hydrating cleanser is a must have in every medicine cabinet!!!!!! This cleanser is choc full of ceramides that will rebuild the skin and lipid barrier. Also, maybe try the CeraVe Moisturizer Pm. It’s super lightweight and will help with redness. Lastly, pls bring your niacinamide all the way down to your lips! It’s a great soothing and healing ingredient. For more healing ingredients, you can look for kaolin clay, colloidal oats, seaweed, honey, Centella Asiatica.

Does anyone have a brand, or products that have almost 100% safe ingredients? I’m finding that everything (even vegan/natural) brands have a lot of irritants and hazardous substances. This app is a blessing and a curse lol. I’m mostly trying to find cleansers, serums, and concealers. I’m 24 and need hydrating products since I want to take care of my skin before it ages!

I personally have VERY sensitive skin. I use almost solely ISOMERS products. Google the meaning of isomers and it’s true. I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in my skin: firmness, lines, brightness, smooth etc. the ingredients are safe . Ask me if you have further questions. Oh, you can email them and they’ll outline a simple regime for you at no cost. Very nice people. Out of Ontario, CANADA.

@Lori Hamilton Thanks so much! I’ll definitely go check them out :) Lines are definitely a situation as well, I’m guessing my current cleanser is drying out my skin. You’re the best!
