consistency

creamy

the texture is creamy and smooth, the light-reflecting flecks light up my face, and i look like i have a fresh, natural, just-off-the-treadmill flush all day

- Sephora User

the color is perfect with my bronzer (i have olive skin) and i love that it's creamy texture stays put all day

- Sephora User

fallout

does not have fallout

i also love how it transforms into a powdery-like texture when it comes into contact with my skin, and it's so lightweight and not sticky at all

- Mecca User

i like that it dries powdery so there's no smearing, and it has an ingredient in it (sodium hyaluronate) that helps draw moisture to the skin, so no worries about it settling into fine lines or drying out the area around your eyes

- Sephora User

blendability

blends well

love the way it feels on my skin and how well it blends

- Narscosmetics User

i got the color altai which is such a pretty natural looking color for my complexion (which is light) i absolutely love this, it blends seamlessly into my skin with a stippling brush

- Sephora User

texture

smooth

this goes onto your skin beautifully, it so smooth and easy to apply and gave my cheeks a lovely glow in a golden peach shade

- Narscosmetics User

it looks good on all skin colours and is silky smooth to touch with a nice sheen

- Narscosmetics User

weight

lightweight

it glides onto the face really well, it feels creamy like butter, but it feels light on the face

- Sephora User

i've been trying to downsize the makeup bag i keep in my purse, since my purses are getting too heavy, and the multiple stick is perfect for my purposes

- Viewpoints User

staying power

longlasting

i absolutely love this blush - easy to apply - stays on - best color ever

- Sephora User

awesome product, so easy to use, and lasts all day

- Sephora User

sheer

the multiple is a supersized cream-to-powder stick that blends magnificently into the eyelids, cheeks and lips to make a nice, sheer face color that wears like iron

SO IN LOVE

I have always loved NARS makeup for their high pigmentation and great range of colours. This is definitely one of the best products I've used, ever! At first, i was a bit hesitant about the creamy texture and the shimmer. However, the salesperson was very friendly and recommended this shade (I was looking for a more neutral and less pink shade than my usual Orgasm - which I've used almost daily for years now).I must say I am impressed by the colour, pigmentation, texture and overall result. It is not messy to handle, blends easily and well, and stays on throughout a long day without even a touch up. The shade gives a hint of blush and even works well as a subtle contour shade. I am now very eager to try on other shades, and also try using it for the eyes and lips.

a MUST HAVE for the Woman-on-the-Go

I've become OBSESSED with this wonderful li'l stick! I find that it does save a bit of time when getting ready to attack the day! GREAT color pay-off and great ease of application! Just a swipe over each cheekbone (a la "war paint" style) and a bit of a smudge with the fingers to blend and you're ready to go! I LOVE the texture, it's described as cream-to-powder...but really it's a powder almost as soon as it hits your skin. No need to worry about it smudging up your foundation application or being greasy at all. I find that the color lasts all day without any traveling or becoming blotchy on my skin! I've purchased 3 colors: Maui, Portofino & Cap Vert. So far I'm in love with Portofino for myself and Cap Vert for use on sets as natural bronze/blush that looks gorgeous on pretty much ANY skin tone! The Multiple has definitely earned it's place as an essential in my makeup kit! « less

Great Colors + Blends Well

I love these new matte sticks. I purchased 'Altai'- it reads like a bronzer on my winter-pale skin. I've used the other multiples from nars in the past and love the colors. The matte ones are particularly versatile to me because there is zero shimmer. The true magic though is how bendable they are. When I first applied them to my cheeks, I was surprised by how pigmented they were; definitely a good thing, but it made me nervous that it might be too intense. Nope. It seriously blends out. I don't look crazy. I wouldn't describe the finished look as dewy, but it's got a nice creamy texture. Not dry the way a powder blush can look. I also tried it on my lips and eyes, as the name suggests. I applied lip balm, then patted it on my lips for a really perfect rosy bronze matte color. Neutral, not too light on my normally dark lips. It would definitely look too chalky if applied with a heavy hand as if it were a lipstick. On my eyes, I felt it was too neutral. I usually prefer more contrast in the eye area or nothing at all, so the mid-tone of the product didn't quite do it for me there. So good!

Easy Glamour

I really enjoy this product. I have it in Orgasm and Portifino. The Orgasm color is definitely less pigmented then its blush counterpart, but that is perfect for me as I am extremely fair. I use it when I want a hint of natural looking color on my cheeks. Portifino is a color that I just recently purchased, after much debating, and I'm so glad I did. I'm a huge fan of corals, as the look fantastic on paler skin tones. The product is a bit pricey, but I think that it is worth it. I've had orgasm for about 9 months now and it is nowhere near to being used up. The product lasts a very long time and does not dry up. The texture is still very creamy. I find that the product stays on quite well all day, but usually isn't a problem for me. I also wear it on the eyes sometimes, and as long as I use a primer it doesn't crease or fade. I've tried it on the lips but it is a tad dry and just generally not comfortable, but again I don't mind because I purchased it to use it on my cheeks. On the cheeks it glides on effortlessly and blends smoothly. It does not irritate my sensitive skin or cause breakouts. Totally worth the price. « less

Nice Idea With Poor Execution

Overall, the concept of having an all-in-one make up item seemed fabulous. The possibility of eliminating certain products or steps from one's routine sounded great. After trying this product using various application techniques and colors, for over a year, I have given up. For reference, I am African-American with a shade complexion that resembles Michelle Obama. I have tried NARS The Multiple in the following colors: Puerto Vallarta, Lamu, South Beach and Portofino. Despite the products creamy texture, I found the products difficult to apply. I have tried using both my fingers and a brush for product applications and it did not work. When I use my fingers to lightly apply the product to my face (as seen in the video), I end up rubbing off some of my foundation; the brush application gave the product a caked on, chalky and ashy appearance on the face. In terms of the colors, Puerto Vallarta was a beautiful orange-coral color in the tube but appeared ashy on my face. Lamu provided a nice bronze sheen but contained too many large pieces of glitter for my face. South Beach provided and nice golden bronze sun-kissed look to my face. While Portofino provided a nice coral color to my face. Despite liking the color payoffs for the South Beach & Portofino Multiples, I will not purchase them again due to the application process being challenging and not worth the investment. « less
