The blushes in these palettes are excellent quality - pigmented, very smooth in texture, long-lasting, and very easy to blend. This is exactly what I have come to expect from NARS and these palettes are every bit as fantastic as my full sized NARS blushes. I have a light, neutral skin tone and am able to wear the shades from both palettes. Both palettes are beautiful, high quality, and such a great value that I would recommend picking up both if you think they will work on your skin tone. In addition to the quality, the value on the palettes is also outstanding. Each blush is 3/4 of the size of a full size NARS blush, making each shade worth $22.50, a total value of $135. These palettes cost just a little over half of the price you would pay for the same amount of blush in the full size line. Each palette has one shade from the permanent line and five new limited edition shades. However some of the new shades are similar to those in the permanent line. The observations I've made based on the shades I own are below, as well as swatches of both palettes. In Unfiltered I: Me First is close to the Dual Intensity Blush in Frenzy (right side). In Unfiltered II: Conquest is nearly identical to Sex Appeal and Candid is close to Goulue. I thought Fame would be close to Luster, but it's a bit more pink and doesn't have as much gold in it. Compared to Deep Throat, Fame has more peach. « less
