i got paloma- when i first opened this, i thought it might be a bit too dark and pink tinged to contour with but i was really happily surprised. for reference, the dark shade is a lot darker than laguna, more similar to tarte park avenue princess but less yellow. it is perfectly matte and the highlight shade has a very subtle shimmer. both are more powdery than im used to nars blushes being, much less dry and nicely pigmented. a little goes a long way but its ok if you accidentally overdo it because this blends out like a dream. if youre looking for a contour powder this is the one.

My new favorite product!

I've been contouring using some Buxom bronzer and highlighter samples for the past year. I finally used them both up, so I asked for this duo in Paloma for Christmas. For reference, I am asian with light/medium skin and yellow undertones. I AM IN LOVE. The bronzer is blendable, matte, and applies so smoothly. It is a huge improvement on the shimmery Buxom sample I was using before. I actually applied too much of this the first time because I wasn't expecting the amazing pigment! The highlighter created a great natural look, although it didn't show up on me as well as I had hoped. It will be perfect for everyday use. I think I'll apply a shimmer highlighter on top of it for nights out. I'm so impressed!

Olympia is perfect!

I've been on the market for a perfect powder-formula contour palette. Many times the deeper shades end up looking too yellow/orange for my very fair/pink complexion - but then I swatched Olypmia and it is the most perfect match! The darker color has taupe/rose undertones that look very natural in any light. Not to mention, the colors are strongly pigmented, yet blend out easily. The highlight color is a nice neutral ivory - I tend to prefer a little shimmer in my highlighter colors, but the matte finish is nice to have for more subtle day-wear. I'd highly recommend this palette for pink girls looking for a natural-looking contour.

Perfect in every way.

I use this as a blush as it has a pink-rosey tone and it looks very natural on light-medium skintones. Never looks too over-whelming even if I apply too much. Pigmentation is amazing and blends seamlessly into the skin. Very light-weight so you can't feel it sitting on your skin. I have very sensitive skin and Nars products never break me out or cause a reaction. The light ivory shade is good for highlight around the centre of the face, brow bone and inner corners of the eyes. Something different from the shimmery champagne colours I normally use. It brightens and still looks very natural. High recommend - Just wish the blush shade was permanent!

Will return

I really wanted the matt NARS multiple in the light brown color for sculpting. Sephora is not carrying this, so I thought this would be a good substitute. I have much redness in my skin, and instead of hiding it with foundation I just blend a brown / pink blusher all over to sculpt so it looks natural and doesn't feel like heavy make up. First, within 1 use the black container started looking grimy and disgusting. I was storing it in its box. Can't imagine what it would look like in a month in my own small make up bag. Second, the Olympia is a yellowish pink not much brown as you would think, and feels heavy on my skin. OK as a blush but did not really look that good as a blush (I use Bobbi Brown in Desert Rose which is a natural pink / brown now, which applies sheer and looks really nice - discontinued ugghhh). Third, the light color, yellow based. I have light pink almost Alabaster skin and use Nars Concealer in Vanilla to spot conceal, no foundation and love it (sans the $29 price tag). This color did not show up on my skin, in day night or any light. Why pile on product when it doesn't show up or do anything for you? I really do not like heavy powder (prefer a no powder and minimal product) on my skin. If I am going to use something like the Nars concealer, I expect it to do what it is suppose to do. This is a bummer product, thrown out there to get your money. Save your dollars gals and buy a blush that works for you and a separate highlighter that shows up on your skin. Also what is with NARS black packaging? An expensive product that looks gross quickly? « less
