My latest obsession

Got this pallette on a whim with the recommendation of a sales associate. The colors are very pigmented and have been able to create a ton of different looks with this pallette very easily. Primer is an absolute must, and tbh I don't really wear eye shadow without primer, so not sure how it would perform without it. I work outdoors and usually go sans makeup because it just wears/sweats off, but I can't put this one down so the horses have seen me all glammed up the last 2 weeks. It stays on remarkably well considering what I do (aka most of the color is still where I put it, I don't think any makeup could completely stand up to a whole day of manual outdoor labor in the humidity or rain). The shimmers do better on top of a wetter primer(or concealer) and applied with a finger, then blended with a brush. Overall I'm absolutely in love with this pallette, especially considering it's under $30 for that many colors. « less

I think of New Orleans w/this palette! mysterious!

I had to tell everybody about this palette! I spent a good amount of time in Sephora looking at this palette and asking different staff their thoughts on it. My main question was quality due to such an inexpensive price. Super cheap with the beauty insider discount, $25! I got mixed reviews from the staff who’s tried it. One girl said it’s a hit or miss some colours being more blendable than others and a dif in quality to the more expensive ones. Yet other staff said it was just as good as the expensive ones minus an included mirror. What drew me to this palette was the variety of fun colours and the cluster of yellow greens. Yellow greens look more edgy and chic than blue-greens. And with a black liquid wing liner and dark mascara, these greens look very opaque and stunning matte. I found all the colours to be very blendable, true to their colour with a true colour in one or two applications. I was also pleased with the amount of shimmers to mattes. Not only do you have fun bold colours like Stroke of luck, Fired up and Grape expectations, but also some nice neutrals like Play it cool, Peachy keen, Sparks fly. With all the rainbow colours almost, you can create quite a bit of different looks from natural to dramatic. Sheer, yellow shimmer, orange, red, brown, green, copper, pink, green, purple, bluish-purple, dark grey and black. This palette almost has it all! But this palette is fun and more on the dramatic side for when you get that want to standout itch. For the price point $30 it’s soooo worth it for all the variety and quality. These are very highly pigmented and soft creamy blendable. Only downside is this palette is big and not very travel friendly unless you cross your fingers you won’t end up with a cracked shadow in the palette exploding everywhere. I wouldn’t take the chance. Lol. « less

First (and last) Morphe palette for me

This is my first Morphe palette. I loved the combination of bold and shimmery shades in this one so thought I'd take a chance. Boy, was it a mistake! Swatching with my fingers, the colors looked vibrant, but application was a lesson in frustration and disappointment. The matte neutrals were fine; a little difficult to blend, a little more fallout that my used to, but otherwise no problem. The neutral shimmers were just ok; they weirdly creased and the shimmer itself was meh. The bolder colors on the right were so pathetic. What pigment applied was patchy and not nearly as bold as it looked on my finger. I tried applying with: fingers, a dry fluffy brush, a wet fluffy brush, a dry dense brush, a wet dense brush, three different smudgers, all to no avail (although the pigment did a number on my brushes). And the fallout! Ohmahgee the fallout was EVERYWHERE. I normally don't have much trouble with fallout (#blessedwithlashes), but this was insane.Bottom line: The neutrals were fine, but you're better off with ABH Soft Glam. The shimmers and bolds were pathetic, so look at BH Cosmetics or Makeup Revolution instead. This palette looks pretty but performs terribly. « less

Great Palette!!

I eyed this palette for a long time and I finally purchased it and I'm so happy I did! I've done a handful of looks with a wide range of colors so I feel like I can give a good review on the palette in general. The shimmers are awesome! I use a glitter glue with all of my shimmers and these were absolutely beautiful. The mattes are awesome as well and I'm not sure why there are complaints about the greens. I used multiple greens in one look and have had no issues. The formula is harder than some eyeshadow palettes I have, but it doesn't affect the amount of pigment my brush picks up (even with a light hand) plus this means there isn't really any fallout! I have very oily skin and the staying power is on par with all my other eyeshadow palettes by other brands when I use a primer and set it. « less

The colours are amazing.

This eyeshadow pallet is my favourite I knew it as soon as it was release and it was selling out everywhere. I eventually got it after months of waiting and I wouldn't change my decision to buy this product for the world. The pigmentation is insane and the colours do last all day. However when blending I've noticed a lot of the product falls onto my cheeks which isn't the best if you do your foundation before your eyeshadow but all in all I would recommend.

#beginner Hello friends. I am terrible at makeup, but I’m trying to get a little better. I’m looking into purchasing a solid little eyeshadow palette for brown eyes. Something with very NATURAL colors that I can wear day to day. Idk if anyone is actually gonna answer, but if anyone has something to recommend, let me know :) thanks bye

What are your favorite talc free eyeshadow brands? I can’t wear most eyeshadows due to it making my eyes itchy and watery.
