I’m in the market for a new foundation!! I need something in the 15-40 dollar range, satin/dewy finish, with medium to full coverage. I use the Fit me! Dewy + smooth but it isn’t full coverage. Any suggestions?

I started using Too Faced Born This Way foundation a few months ago and I love it! I’m sure you will too! Also you should check out Sephora’s app or website. There’s a quiz you can take and recommends foundations for you.

Help! I’ve been wanting to get into makeup, but I don’t want to go to crazy, I just want to get simple basic stuff like concealer, foundation and powder. What would be the best, but cheapest foundation that doesn’t crease and pretty much stays on for a few hours. I want to stay within a 10 dollar price range.😊

I think this is a good foundation to start out with, it also comes in a dewy finish depending on your preference, and you can get it for less than $6 at Walmart.

How do i prevent foundation from transferring?!? I get small orange/tan transfer marks on my clothes and others. Ive tried pixi’s milky mist, mac’s fix + matte and regular setting spray, and elf’s hd powder, product still transfers.

I recommend the maybelline lasting fix setting spray. It’s a great show for urban decay all nighter. A good trick for applying setting spray is to tilt your head back and let the spray fall onto your face, then press it in with a beauty blender.

Hi! So I’m trying to find products to better help my foundation stay on and stay matte. I have very oily skin and have tried so many different foundations and have tried mattifying primers too. They either make me breakout or they just flat out don’t work. I’ve even tried the IL Makiage ‘find your perfect shade’ foundation, it’s better for summer and when I’m more tan, but it most definitely didn’t live up to its promise of staying even after using a mattifying primer. I’m also trying to look for products that aren’t crazy expensive.

I LOVE this primer! ALSO if you want to go the extra mile use Milk of Magnesia before it; works like a charm!

I’m searching for a new concealer. I’ve been using the Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer for years, and I’m ready to move on. I’m looking for a concealer in the 5-25 dollar range, for normal skin, any suggestions?

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer is amazing! Here’s two swatches, I’m very pale with neutral to cool undertones. My shade is Ivory (on the left). I have dry to normal skin and I’m slightly acne prone. It works amazing and doesn’t crease on me. The picture makes them look a little warm toned , so I’ll describe the undertones. Ivory (on the left) is their lightest shade and is a pure neutral undertone, Fair (on the right) is very pink and cool toned. It almost looks like a peach colour corrector mixed with a skin tone.

Creasing concealer?? So I have tried about 10 million concealers and a million more ways of setting my concealer and no matter what my under eyes always end up creasing really bad and being super dry. Any concealer or technique recommendations?

It could also be the amount of concealer you apply and the way you apply it. I started applying concealer with a flat concealer brush and built the product up rather than doing the full “triangle” most influencers do. Set it with Laura mercier, and it creased way less than it normally did. Idk, just something I’ve noticed

What is a good foundation that doesn’t cake, that isn’t heavy, and doesn’t stick to my imperfections or dry skin? I’ve tried, Maybelline, elf, the brand from the dollar store & one my sister-in-law gave me.The dollar store work well also came with a colored primer, but it made me break out. Any recommendations like that? I’m new to make up. So any info helps. At this Moment I’m just using primer & color corrector due to redness & dark circles.

I have dry skin and love Too Faced! The real trick with dry skin is to have a solid skin care routine. I exfoliate every night after my cleanser and to get rid of flaky skin. After toner and eye cream, I use a hydration oil and then a moisturizer. Having a great skin regimen will improve just about any makeup products you use, so I would start there!

@Jaime Lynn I use garnier micellar water to remove makeup because it’s real gentle and gets everything, a toner, exfoliating scrub, eye cream, a hydrating serum, a hyaluronic cream, and then a moisturizer. I’ve always used skin care products, but I just recently got serious with it and did some research. I found the correct order to do your routine in to get the most out of all your products. Now I have a nighttime and a morning routine. It’s definitely made a difference in my skin!

My face, neck and chest are very pale/light with a yellow undertone but the rest of my body is more tan and red. Whenever I use an ivory foundation my face looks too red for my neck and chest but whenever I use anything lighter like porcelain it looks too pale since my actual body is a lighter but tan with some red. If I use anything like natural or beige it’s also too orange. Idk if this makes any sense but does anyone recommend a good foundation color for my skin?

I recommend stopping into an Ulta with a Clinique boutique and asking for a foundation shade match. They’ll swatch some different options and even offer a free 10-Day sample when they find your match, just be sure to ask for a free sample of it once you find your shade. Best of all it’s free!

So I gotten a tad tanner but not tan enough to go out buying a new foundation. Anyways, I was wondering if there’s a simple way to make my foundation darker for a few times because I don’t wear makeup on the daily, and my foundation making my face look ghostly against my neck. Any suggestions?? #foundation #darkerfoundation #beautyhacks #makeup #advice

Bronzer will be your best friend! I have the same issue cause (pale girl probs) and just by adding bronzer in the shadow spots made me look evenly tanned. Remember to blend down your neck, AND if you do have a summer color vs winter color, keep them both in stock and just blend as you transition. But bronzer is the cheaper option.

Bronzer help pls!! I’m very pale and need a bronzer that won’t make me orange. I’ve tried hoola (both the regular and light shades) & soleil tan de Chanel. They all make me orange and look super patchy by the end of the day. The only makeup I wear is mascara and bronzer. Thank you in advance (:

This bronzer is really good, it blends out easily and it isn’t too expensive. I’m not sure what their shade range is but I hope you can find one that works for you!

I’ve been using the watermelon sleeping mask from #GlowRecipe for awhile now, as it was a birthday present from a friend. Recently, I’ve found out that there are some weird looking tan/light brown rod-shaped things on the bottom of the container within the actual product. Has anyone experienced the same or something similar? I’ve looked this up online and haven’t seen any clues as to what this may be... Please help! :(

I don’t have this mask myself, but I have a pretty high opinion of Glow Recipe. I did a little research myself. And it’s true that I can’t find any other complaints like this. Even when reading through some few poor review. All I can think of is that it has a lot of natural ingredients. Because of this the website does address about product separation, but I don’t really see that looking like what you described. More natural ingredients also means a quicker expiration date so maybe it has to do with being expired but that still doesn’t give a very clear explanation and I don’t really know. So I guess I’m just as clueless 😞

You could also look into color correcting. Make sure to use your color wheel or it won’t work!! Colors on opposite sides cancel each other out. And you probably want to use a light version of the color to brighten the dark color. For example, a dark blue purple color would be canceled out by a bright yellow, orange color. After the color correction you can add your favorite concealer and set it. PS make sure not to go over board with the color correction. Just use a little.

Jergen’s Natural Glow self tanning lotion is AMAZING- it kinda smells weird, almost like sand, but it tans very evenly. I use it overnight and wash it off in the morning. The tan stays on for a while, so if you wanted to stay tan, you’d only have to use it every two weeks or so. They also have a product from that line specifically for the face!

So I need someone’s help to pick out a lipstick for me. I am half Hispanic so I have a very mixed skin tone. I am usually pretty tan but my lips are really pale and I can’t find a good lipstick that works for me cuz some shades just make me make look too white for my tan skin tone but others are just way too dark and I’m just looking a good lipstick that works for my mixed skin tone and is long lasting that also won’t irritate my sensitive skin

have you tried lip tints? i like this buildable one from glossier. you can put on one swipe for sheer color and more for more color. that way you can control how much color goes on and see what works for you.

HELP! so I’ve been neglecting sunscreen for the longest time due to the fact it makes me look like a ghost and starting to see the damage on my skin. Is there anyone with a deep tan skin tone or even darker that know a sunscreen that doesn’t make them look like a ghost but is still effective in preventing sun damage. I’m looking for one that still contains zinc or titanium dioxide
