Mini is a great size/value!

After trying the milk bronzer and LOVING the formula/blendability I decided to pick up this cream blush stick. I definitely prefer peachy shades and out of all shades in this line, Perk stood out to me the most, but I wanted to try the formula first so I got the mini in Werk (dusty rose - only mini shade available). It's definitely more neutral than I thought it would be, especially considering I have quite warm undertones and a lot of blushes read too pink on me. Below is one heavy swatch (2-3 passes) and one sheered out swatch (1 pass, blended out). The color is actually really flattering and pretty universal. My favorite way to apply it (and the bronzer stick) is by rolling up the stick a bit and picking up the product with a large stipple brush. Dabbing it directly on the skin works fine, but it can move foundation underneath or you can overapply if you're not careful. These sticks are SUPER blendable though! I have a few of the Bite multisticks which I love, but those are a much stiffer formula and can be a bit difficult to blend (even using a large stipple brush). I've recently started RetinA (every other night) and my skin isn't SUPER peely, but along my cheeks where I'm most dry naturally, my skin is slightly scaly - not flaky, but a little rougher in texture - and these smooth right over the dry skin and leave a beautiful glow. They also don't clump up as the day goes on (as the oils from the product are soaked up by my dry skin) - it just gets a bit more matte throughout the day!I do wish more shades came in the mini size. The full size is definitely a better value per ounce, but this mini cream blush is larger than most other full-size cream blushes (NYX cream blush -3.5g, MAC cream blush 3.2g, Stila convertible colors 4.25g, Bite multistick 4.75g, Milk MINI blush 6g!!).No one is going to go through a 28g stick of cream blush!! I suspect this is why the new "glow oil lip Less

Natural flush found

I’d been eyeing this stick for months, and was so excited to see it in mini form. I had been walking outside in 40 degrees for an hour before coming inside where I swatched it on my hand. Turns out, on my fair skin, this sheers out to match *exactly* my flush from a walk on a brisk winter day. In other words, exactly what I wanted. It does truly become part of my skin and lasts basically all day (I have oily skin). On the lips it’s more pigmented berry, though it will cling to dry patches if you’re chapped. Glad I bought it.

SO happy to see more mini shades available

I absolutely love the Birthday sample I received back in January. I use it almost exclusively now. I'm very pale and it's very pigmented. A little goes a long way so the normal size would last me a lifetime. I couldn't justify buying multiple shades, in that way, but this mini size is perfect for options. It glides beautifully over my BB Cream and takes about 10 seconds to gently blend with fingers. Slightly dewy look (my preference) but I've also applied a little powder blush over it which switched to a more matte feel. It actually made the other color really pop and hold. Either way, this product lasts all day. I have no complaints. I'm just here to buy a few more.

Holy glitterballs

Very nice formula and colour, it's a very pretty, warm deep pink with some mauve tones to it. Buttery smooth and super easy to apply (similar formula to tarte cheek stains, except tarte drags on application, is very sticky and tacky/difficult to move on the face) I blended this out with no problems. Now, I initially saw some shimmery particles in the online swatches and thought I could deal with it, but this isn't shimmer..it's straight up disco ball glitter. chunky HOT pink glitter at that, it looks like I decided to incorporate arts and crafts into my makeup routine! I think this is great if you're saving it for special occasions and going out, but the point of lip/cheek products is everyday wearability and versatility. Was a bit surprised because usually these cream/gel type cheek products aim to have a natural finish. Will use up my sample but won't repurchase!

finally found my perfect “blush”

I had been using tarte’s flush stick forEVER, when I finally ran out and needed more, only to find out that it had been discontinued!! The horror!!So I perused Sephora’s entire site for what looked to be the closest match... I loved the flush stick because it was a sheer wash of color that does not look like you’re wearing blush, it’s more of a natural flush of color that blends in so nicely.I bought this one and was a little skeptical, but hopeful. I was soooo excited to learn that not only was it a close match to the Tarte one, but it lasts alll day and I love the color even more! It looks so dark in the pic and in the stick, but it’s a buildable sheer color and it is absolutely perfect.Maybe I should stock up just in case... (note to Milk - Please keep this around forever!!)So happy I found this perfect product!! Less
