The foundation I have been searching for

I have been on the hunt for a new foundation for awhile - decent coverage, non-drying, long lasting, something that won't settle into my fine lines, not a full matte finish... this foundation stick ticks all the boxes for me. I would never have considered a stick format before, but on the recommendation of a friend I decided to give this one a shot. Easy application, build-able coverage where I need it, blends really well w/ a beauty blender or just my finger tips, seems like a lot less waste of product on my chosen method as well. Love that I can take another swipe on the areas I prefer more coverage, if I feel I need it. GREAT finish, looks very natural with a subtle glow. My skin loves this stuff, my face has starting feeling tight/itchy mid to late day with other products, no matter how well I prep my face in the morning - not so with this one. My face feels great all day and the only place that needs a touch up at end of day is where my glasses sit on my nose. I am so happy with this purchase, I've recently also added the blur Less

OK so I really wanted to try a stick foundation and I heard lots of good things about this brand so I tried it out and I don’t know if it was just the color that made me not like it so much it has a really pink undertone and so if you’re pale and you have a pink undertone this might be good for you but if not this is definitely not the product I felt like it was super heavy on my face and increased a lot and it was definitely super shiny if you have oily skin it’s not going to prevent shine like an hour into my workday I was like greasy

Impressed with the performance/finish/packaging

I picked up this foundation a couple of weeks ago as a bit of an impulse buy, as I was looking for a foundation that was easy to apply and had heard positive things about the foundation stick. I am really happy with the performance of this product so far. For reference, I am fair with normal to dry-leaning skin, and I have some light texture on my cheeks from pores. I can build up or sheer out the coverage of this foundation easily, so it is very customizable to whatever I may need from day to day. The formula is very long wearing on my skin, as I typically work 10-13 hours a day 6 days a week. My makeup looks basically the same when I finally get home for the day as it did when I initially left my place. Additionally, it does not emphasis texture and looks/feels really skin-like. I’ve also noticed that it performs well with several different primers, so it can hang if you like to switch up some of your other base products. The packaging also feels great in your hand and is surprisingly sturdy. I am definitely planning to repurchase this foundation stick whenever I run out. If you’re thinking about picking this up and are on the fence, I would go ahead and go for it. Less

Exceeded my expectations

This stuff is seriously good. I like stick foundations because in general they're easy and quick and they cover well. This does that, but the texture is not like other stick foundations I've used. It's much more velvety and doesn't feel as thick or creamy. It's definitely not matte but it is way more matte than other foundation sticks I've used. It sits nicely on my skin whether I use it with the hydro grip primer or not (I do let my moisturizer and sunscreen sit for a little bit before applying). I think the primer extends the wear but I haven't been able to tell yet.I don't have to use very much at all for decent coverage. I do set it with a small amount of the Milk loose powder which works nicely and looks natural. I wouldn't call this absolutely full coverage but it almost gets there as it's very buildable. I use it all over and then add more to problem areas instead of concealer and it works well at that. It really feels like nothing on my skin and because I got a good shade match (I'm 185 in Fenty and got "Shell" for reference) it can be hard to tell I'm even wearing it. I have oily skin that can be dry on the outside due to prescription acne medications and this does a nice job of covering my hyperpigmentation without looking patchy. It barely shows in my smile lines at all. I have not yet tried it with a setting spray which would probably help me avoid that even longer. Without a setting spray it faded very gracefully towards the end of the day. As soon as I'm absolutely sure this doesn't break me out (so far so good) I plan on stocking up. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a foundation. The attached picture is after applying it in the car with my fingers right after buying it. Thank you awesome Sephora person who helped me find my shade! Less

Lovely Surprise! Amazing!

First time buying a foundation stick and I’m absolutely impressed. I bought this with low expectations because I’ve tried other brands for foundation sticks (albeit they were usually cheap drugstore ones, no tea no shade on drugstore makeup but sometimes it is bad quality). HOWEVER, this not only way surpassed all my expectations, but it also made me consider becoming more of a stick/ cream formula gal. What I can say about it- it does not sit on top of the skin and look caked, it blends out seamlessly using anything (fingers, brushes, sponges) and looks so natural and radiant, giving that perfect skin look! It’s also one of my favorite foundations because it matches having multiple undertones in the skin, like the Stellar foundation (which I also love). My skin has some pinky peach undertones as well as golden/ neutral undertones. I’ve tried several kinds of foundations that only offer one undertone, so it almost matches my skin perfectly but not quite. Those usually leave me choosing between color matching to my face or to my neck. But this, it matches up perfectly for both. Also I love how long wearing this foundation is. The first time I used it, I didn’t use a primer to see how well it lasted throughout the day, and I could wear it for 8 hours before it kind of moved on my face. Then when I used it with primers, it lasted 10+ hours depending on the weather and activities I was doing that day. It’s easy to touch up with a tiny bit of setting or blotting powders to extend the wear though. Honestly you could probably get a good 16+ hours wearing this foundation if you have the right products to touch it up throughout the day. I’m absolutely in love with it, it’s become my go to foundation especially on the days where I have to get ready quick! Definitely worth the purchase. Very happy I tried it. Less

Any good natural looking or light coverage foundation for combination skin with oily T-zone? I currently use glossier perfecting skin tint & love it but just trying to possibly branch out a bit.

Hey y’all. I am struggling to find a good foundation that doesn’t make my t-zone #oily . It started when I got IT cosmetics stuff so I went back to my TARTE Amazonian clay foundation. I mean maybe I’m not using my #setting #powder right but it’s just bizarre. What #foundation do y’all use? I have #dry skin everywhere else around my face and my skin is #sensitive HELP

i’d make the switch to a stick foundation! if your skin i really oily, that helps tone down shine, especially after you set it with powder. this one’s great!

I recommend the flex foundation stick! It has a really creamy texture and feels lightweight but you can build coverage!
