This is the perfect applicator for the Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation. It is not an applicator that you want to use with a product that you need to use a lot of. It will not work well with a lot of product. Silicone Applicators, like this one, work well with foundations/bases that only need a small amount of product to be used. With the Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation only about 2 drops is needed to cover your whole face. This applicator does a great job of moving that small amount around, not absorbing any, blending it, and patting the product into the skin. I find it to be the perfect way to apply the new Milk Makeup foundation. FYI, it does take a little getting used to. I already owned a silicone applicator from a different brand that I used with some BB creams and Pixi Skintint. I did receive this product complimentary for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are MY OWN.

I have heard so much hype about this silicone applicators so I was really excited to try this out! But, it was horrible compare to other applicators. I love the idea that they want to create a tool that doesnt waste half of your makeup, but it just blotted the makeup all over my face! My own fingers would have done a better job at blending the foundation out than this applicator. I also didn't like that there is a rough edge around the applicator which when pressed into your foundation, will pick up product and leave a dent in your canvas.

First off, I did not purchase this item as a makeup blender. I intended to use this applicator as a substitute for my fingers. I breakout whenever I touch my face, as many people do. So I had been looking for a way to apply product onto my face without actually touching my face with my fingers. I don't like pumping my concealer/foundation onto brushes or beauty blenders because I want to make sure I get my money's worth in products I've purchased. Queue this little applicator right here. I love to use this to dab on (**not blend**) many products and it works like a charm. I use it to apply my moisturizer, primer, concealer, and foundation. However, I do use a blending motion when applying my moisturizer and primer with no problem. I then go in to blend out any makeup product I use with an actual beauty blender or makeup brush. It is so easy to use and wipe clean that it makes for a seamless transition when using multiple products. It's a must have in my opinion. I purchased a silicone sponge before this one and the quality was nothing compared to how sturdy and functional this Milk sponge is.

So I bought this keeping in mind that this IS NOT a Beauty Blender/Sponge. The reviewers saying that it left their makeup streaky or uneven were using the same amount of product with this silicone blender as they would have if they'd used a SPONGE - in other words, they were using entirely TOO MUCH product, and their makeup didn't look good because of user error. It has ZERO to do with this silicone blender itself. That being said, moving from a brush or sponge-type blender to this silicone applicator is a bit of a learning curve, and unless you are already an accomplished makeup artist, you probably won't get it quite right the first time.I liked that the Dab and Blend applicator let me use WAY LESS liquid foundation but gave me excellent coverage. It takes some getting used to holding it and getting around the nose/eye socket curve. However, I love how much easier it is to clean versus a sponge. « less

this is great!!! so easy to clean, so soft ont he face and you save so much product- i was wasting a lot more product using beautyblender.
