lives up to the hype

I received this product as a free sample - this review contains my honest thoughts. This product (as the title of this review says) lives up to the hype. Picture is attached: I have large pores on my cheeks - this is with just the blur stick on, same lighting, cheek is slightly red o the after due to rubbing the product on.• Very lightweight - honestly can’t even feel it on your skin.• Leaves skin smooth & matte.• Applies completely translucent.• Easy application - just swipe on.• Doesn’t feel greasy or leave a weird residue*.* If you have dry skin patches or acne scabbing it will ball up around them - HOWEVER - all you need to do is dab it into your skin and it actually helps reduce visibility under your foundation.• The only downside to this is that there is a weird smell but it dissipates once applied.I highly recommend this blur stick, I was actually shocked by the results. I know the before and after pics are very subtle but under makeup it made a big difference.*I received this product complimentary for review purposes* « less

The one primer I like

Let's start with the (small list of) negatives first. I've never liked stick primers because I feel like it's not a good idea to be rubbing the stick directly on your face each time and gathering up bacteria. The whole thing just seems really unhygienic to me. However, I must admit it does feel nice and quick to just quickly swipe the stick along my T-zone and up and down my cheeks and then gently pat in the product with my fingers. So yes, I do like this primer. For starters, the Blur Stick is silicone-free and oil-free. Praise the lord!! I hate those silicone feeling primers. They just make my skin feel so yucky and sticky and heavy throughout the day. I avoid them like the plague. On the contrary, this one is so lightweight, I can't feel it on my skin at all. It's amazing for filling in pores and fine lines so my skin looks smooth. In addition, it leaves a nice matte finish but still allows my skin too look glowy when I put my regular foundation over it. It just helps to keep any excess oil at bay. « less

Will be a hit or miss for a lot of people

I was really curious about the blur stick but didn't want to purchase the full size since I read such mixed reviews on it. Glad I purchased the mini instead because this product was a complete miss for me.It was really difficult to get out of the packaging, in fact the bottom of the actual container was stuck within the outside plastic packaging, so the mechanism to push up the blur stick is broken. I didn't notice any reduction in pores but I will say that the product feels very silky on the skin.I think this is more geared for people with oily skin though. I have relatively normal skin with an occasional oily t-zone, so the product actually dried me out/made my skin kind of flakey on my less oily days.

Milk blur stick is amazing. A little goes a long way. It’s weightless and you don’t even feel it on your skin. And best of all it’s non pore clogging while giving you a smooth appearance.
