Milani, you can do better.

This color is definitely not a shade for lighter skin tones. I ordered this online just to see the coverage and I am disappointed. Not only is it super warm and orange for people of lighter skin tones, but it's thick and doesn't really blend well. The foam applicator is really stiff and I can tell that over time it's going to look really nasty. Really unimpressed with the shade range Milani always has when it comes to foundations and concealers, but their eyeshadows and powders really top the game at the drug store.

Very happy with these

I own all of them but 04 which is too dark for me. My favorites are 01 and 06. I'm not good at describing colors but 01 is a pale taupe that has a silvery sheen on the skin. 06 is a pretty champagne color that I was hoping would have had a little more pink to it. Both are good options if you are not looking for the typical yellow/gold/bronze toned highlighters. They are 8.5 g, good quality, pigmented, not chalky or powdery. I've used both natural hair and synthetic brushes on these without any kickback. There is a little sparkle but nothing crazy or unflattering, you can't really even tell unless you're shining a light in your face, even then it doesn't show up in pictures and any shimmer disappears with application leaving a nice shine and glow. It's pretty hard to find a highlighter that is 100% free of glitter and sparkle, it's just has to do with how makeup is made. Almost anything with mica dose have a natural shimmer, shine or sparkle to it. Unlike some highlights it doesn't seem to be a issue as it blends away or falls off when applying, which I like because I have a highlight that is triple the price and it leaves my face shimmering no matter the lighting and I never reach for it. Less

I’ve loved this product since I first tried it! It lasts all day, no matter what other products I use (primer vs no primer, foundation vs no foundation, etc). It has a very nice highlight and is easy to apply!

New favorite!

This highlighter is amazing! It has great pigmentation and it blends in really nicely with my skin. It is also very buildable, and leaves my skin looking glowy and healthy- without leaving any harsh lines at all. Another thing is that it literally lasts all day. I wear it to school, work, and it even stays on after my workouts. I love how I don't have to reapply throughout the day. Since I purchased it, I have been getting so many compliments about my makeup. I was a little skeptical buying a drugstore highlighter, but I'm very satisfied and content.

Prefer this over an expensive highlighter

At first I wasn't getting much pigment from the highlighter but I realized the highlight is blinding/super high quality when applied with a damp brush. I prefer my highlight to be very bright, I consider it one of the most important parts of my makeup routine. The color is beautiful, when applied like I said above it creates a super blinding/pearly highlights that suits all makeup looks. One thing I have noticed is that when I apply a heavy amount with a wet brush it kind of sticks in one place on my face and doesn't blend well at all. I've applied too much before and actually turned my cheekbones a pinkish shade darker then my foundation so be careful with that. Start with a very small amount and use the excess on your brush to keep adding highlight. It may look like there's not much on your brush but do not be fooled. « less

What’s a good cheap blinding highlighter? (Colourpop, morphe, wet n wild, Maybelline, nyx, e.l.f., etc.)

Wet n wild is not cruelty-free anymore sadly :( I really enjoy wearing the Strobelight Instant Glow Powder by Milani for an everyday highlighter, it’s $10 and you get 0.30oz (8.5g). It exists in various shades so there is one for every skintone!
