Good Primer, but be careful

This is a really good Primer. It helps my eyeshadow stay in place and vibrant all day. A very LITTLE bit goes a long way, if you use to much it will get weird and clumpy on your eyelids. Also, before you set it make sure it's fully dry otherwise it's tacky and the eyeshadow won't set properly. Once I learned these things it's been working great for me.

Amazing for greasy eyelids

I love this primer. I've tried a few different methods to keep eyeshadow from creasing. I used the UD Primer potion for a while, and it was okay, but my very greasy eyelids always ended up creasing (obnoxiously I have dry skin elsewhere...). I also have tried concealers with setting powder, but that didn't work for me. This (Milani) eyeshadow primer makes my eyeshadow last all day. I have only been using it for about two weeks so far, but I keep looking in the mirror to check out how not-greasy my eyelids are (very much a novelty), and how my eyeshadow has not creased. So happy!

I don't see any difference in my eye makeup if I use this product. I have blue veins on my lids which need some concealing and I have extremely oily lids. This primer leaves the lids tacky and because I have oily lids I hate that feeling. I so much more prefer just a silicone-based face primer or concealer on my lids. Now it might be great if you have dry or normal skin on your lids! To use it up I use it on my brows underneath my ABH brow pommade where I have dry skin. Sadly also don't notice a difference. But it doesn't bother me there.

This primer is affordable and does what I expect!

So I have tried other drugstore eyeshadow primers and I have gone back to this one. I love that it is affordable and under $6. When you apply it, it has a slightly peachy white color and feels a little watery however, (once it dries which is rather quick so work fast) it leaves a dry even base to apply brow liner for eyebrows and eyeshadow and eyeliner that really makes the colors true and last all day. Although the consistency is thinner that higher end primers, it works just as good. For the price, I am loving this eyeshadow primer! Don't get any cheaper ones, or more expensive ones, get this one!

This stuff is great!! New fav!

My eyeshadow looks so good after using this! This primer is easy to apply and eyeshadow glides on so beautifully after it dries. It's very easy to work with— the eyeshadow sits nicely on top and blends easily without loosing definition or getting muddy— and it lasts all night. I used the same old eyeshadow I've used a million times before (drugstore brand, nothing special) but it's just poppping now!! So professional looking. And the price is wonderful. I highly recommend it!

Does anyone know some good methods to making an eyeshadow more pigmented? I find that when I use a brush to pick up certain colors, they’re very translucent. Thanks! ☺️

Try an eyeshadow primer like the Milani @Eyeshadow Primer and use a brush that isn’t so fluffy but is more dense instead.

I got this to use for my wedding and I’ve been loving it since! I have some hooded eyelids so the creases are real. With this, my eyeshadow seems brighter and doesn’t crease all day. It’s only $7 and a little lasts forever :)

Hey everybody, I’m new to the whole makeup game and one thing I’ve really been struggling with is eyeshadow. I was wondering if any of you have some criticisms/tips to share? Especially for eyes like mine? Oh and I’d also like to know how I did for doing this kind of look on my own? (Quite recent, maybe a month ago? I don’t wear makeup as often) Personally, I think my makeup looks kinda muddy but I’m usually very hard on myself. I’m completely a beginner and I have no clue what I’m doing lmao

So my eye has a deep crease with oily eyelids and it is resulting in the top half of my eyeshadow always wearing off prematurely and I wanted to know if anyone could recommend any products to use to help combat this issue/ any eyeshadow blending techniques are appreciated

I have super oily lids so I typically use the Milani eyeshadow primer and set it with powder after waiting for the primer to set for 30 seconds.

I need eyeshadow primer! I’ve never used it before but I also don’t wear eyeshadow often. Whenever I do wear it, it creases really bad within a few hours. Apparently I have oily eyelids lol

This is my favorite one by far, it really helps prevent creasing and extends the wear of my eyeshadow. I personally like it better than the UD Primer Potion, plus it’s cheaper. Just make sure to set the primer with a powder before applying your shadows, it helps it blend much easier.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good eyeshadow primer for hooded eyes? I’ve been using too face shadow insurance and I don’t think it’s doing what I need it too.
