OilyOily Skin
I have tried MANY acne face washes including Murad, Dermalogica, CeraVe, Proactiv, and I’m currently using Proactiv MD. I’ve also tried getting acne facials and taking medication and putting many different topicals on my face given to me by my dermatologist. I’ve had really stubborn acne for 4 years, and it won’t go away! Is there a face wash that works for oily, acne prone skin?

This is honestly the best cleanser I have used! You need the SMALLEST drop, so it will last a while before you need to purchase again! It’s made my skin so clear and soft I’m obsessed!

I am 26 years old and a complete beginner to make up, what does “undertone” mean? I’m light skinned but my face tends to be red/pink most of the time. Like uneven skin tone. How do I know what my undertone is? #undertone #oilyskin #help #largepores

Does anyone know anything about using fake eyelashes while having eyelash extensions? Or is it a complete no-no?

I don’t think you should put fake lashes on extensions. The fake lashes will let the lash extensions fall off early.

first, you want a matte primer or moisturizer. I used the origins matte moisturizer as a primer and it works great for my oily and sensitive skin but if your looking for a primer I suggest the too faced peachy matte primer or the first aid beauty pores me gone matte primer! Second, a matte foundation is key I use too faced born this way! It’s not completely matte but I love it and find it works well for my oily skin! Other than that I would used a good setting powder and load that up everywhere that your oily. Hope this helps xx

Maybeline fit me line is amazing. Huge shade variety and definitely full coverage. And it’s not as expensive as the prestige lines.

Does anybody know any good skin care products that works for acne and dry and oily skin. I used to use proactive md but it didn’t work on my face. And my prom is soon and I don’t want pimples all over my face. I also wanna stay on a budget but I’m willing to go over if necessary. #skinproducts #dryskin #acne #blemishtreatment #clearskin #largepores

i’ve used this gentle cleaner instead of the normal one bc it’s not as harsh on my skin. also i would recommend an oil free moisturizer, to use both morning and at night!

so both sides of my face are basically complete opposites. on my left side i have a lot of red dark spots and some texture and on my right i have some light dark spots but around my chin and jaw line i have developed some texture and just bumps. i want to use products that will help with hyperpigmentation and acne scars. i want an even skin tone but i have no idea what to buy and don’t want to blow my money on products that won’t work. i currently use the Biore charoal face wash and witch hazel and the ordinary niacinamide 10% and zinc 1% serum. please help and give some opinions on what i should use!

i want to wear foundation, but i have really bad eczema so it makes my foundation look flaky and patchy. the same thing happens when i wear concealer, and my concealer never blends because of my eczema. my conceal is HD concealer by NYX and my foundation is Superbalanced foundation by Clinique. i just want to be able to conceal my bad eczema without looking like a complete clown. any tips?

Hi Maddie! Sounds like you need a calming and hydrating cream. There are options like REN Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm. It’ll help with the inflammation. Under your makeup you could try Cover FX Calming Primer. Both are brands that are made with the intention to alleviate skin irritation. Let us know what you tried and what worked! Good luck! 💕

Am I the only person who sincerely wants a complete face pallet? I’m talking eye shadows, blush, contour, highlight, a translucent powder for your face, the whole shebang? Does this already exist? Someone please let me know?!

There’s a company called maskcara beauty. Their pallets are fully customizable and actually somewhat affordable. The picture I’m adding is a profile of a girl that I got it from. It was created by a beauty guru☺️

Perricone md no makeup foundation I need a dupe for this foundation, I live how it sits on my ski. It evens everything out and gives me a really pretty low coverage look. But it’s 60$ and I don’t think it’s really worth it

@Jessica Helms oh my goodness! Thank you! I just started using Born this Way in Seashell with Huda Beauty’s Perfection primer and they work together super well! This time I think I used Dermablend Powder because I couldn’t find my Airspun, but the Dermablend is white instead of beige and I think it smooths my skin a bit better. I had to change foundations though, I got too tan!

This is my holy grail triple threat. I’ve literally been using these since middle school and they are amazing. I also add a moisturizing eye cream from L’Oréal (eye defense) and I occasionally alternate with a less intense face wash, using whatever I’ve gotten in my Ipsy bag. Right now I’m digging the pixi glow mud cleanser and the Murad environmental shield cleanser. I like alternating those with the blackhead eraser, since that’s a little more intense and abrasive.

Yes I love it! I’ve only tried the tinted facial sunscreen one but it’s my favorite already and a good base for makeup. It’s good for combo acne prone skin, hasn’t broken me out yet.

what are people’s opinions on serum blushes, I have darker skin but I still want the product to show up on my skin and I like the concept of light weight product that is also skincare - I’m looking into the em cosmetics blush and the perricone md blush

Advice, Recommendations, Tips? I have sensitive combination skin. Oily t zone, black heads across cheeks and nose, occasional pimples. I only wear mascara and eyebrow pencil for makeup. I have eczema but only experience flares on my hands. I was using la Roche Posay gentle cleanser but felt some stinging after a few weeks so I switched to Vanicream cleanser. I was using Differin Adapalene gel nightly but due to flaking I have changed to every two or three nights. I use Neutrogena extra dry skin gel and Ella MD SPF moisturizer. I will be adding Bioderma Miccelar water for make up removal and Skin Ceuticals CE Ferulic serum to my daily routine. I also purchased Tatcha Rice Enzymes for weekly exfoliation and the Aztec Clay treatment for an occasional mask. Any comments on the products and routine? Recommendations for a fragrance free moisturizer and toner? Should I stop the Adapalene gel and use an AHA BHA cleanser at night? #help #recommendations #routine #skincare

That mask might be really irritating for your sensitive skin! Cerave has a really nice moisturizer and they’re fragrance free as far as I know and don’t have harmful ingredients

MatureMature Skin
I feel like we spend an awful lot of time talking about skin-types and the best way to care for each one, however nobody seems to ever talk about mature skin or that weird transition skin place that starts in your late 20s to early 30s. Just knowing whether your skin is oily or dry isn’t enough when you hit that awkward zone of needing wrinkle cream and acne treatments at the same time. Hi middle aged puberty, how are ya? So as one of the many many women who have spent a small fortune trying to find the best of both world, I have put my daily skin routine into a handy one stop spot for you. I am late 30s, have sensitive skin with hormonal acne. I have lines, wrinkles, and a whole mess of texture and red splotchy skin. I have spend years tweaking my skincare routine, finding the things that work the best and avoiding the things that make it worse. I hope you find this useful and that it sends you on your own skincare exploration journey. #BeautyVerse #MatureSkin #Skincare #Routine Daily Skincare Routine Morning: - Rinse with warm water & fresh cotton cloth (not a wash cloth) - Pixi Glow Tonic - The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum - Olehenriksen Truth Serum - Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer - Algenist Complete Eye Renewal balm - Bite Beauty Lip mask - Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Daily Skincare Routine Nighttime: - Drunk Elephant Slaii Cleansing Balm - Drunk Elephant Pekee Bar - Tatcha Rice Polish - Pixi Glow Tonic - The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum - Herbivore Prism AHA/BHA Serum - Herbivore Phoenix Face oil - Drunk Elephant LaLa Retro Cream - Algenist Complete Eye Renewal balm - Bite Beauty Lip mask
