My bestie gifted this to me after I tried and raved about the Fit Me Matte & Poreless Liquid Foundation. I'd had already wanted to try this after a YouTuber I follow kept raving about it. I love powder to set my foundation. I've tried a lot of powders and this is my favorite powder ever. Now that I have it, I haven't touched my other powders. The powder kept me from getting a breakthrough shine during the day but I will get the matching pressed powder for my purse just in case. No smile lines, my under eyes looked smooth and my skin was so even and flawless. It has some light coverage (not completely translucent)and it's so smooth and fine that it sets my under eyes and my face. It leaves you with an airbrushed finish. No cons... just a fabulous powder.

I was excited off top to try this product because the Maybelline FIT ME foundation is one of my favorite go to drugstore foundations. I knew this product would not disappoint. The packaging is sleek and sophisticated and it is very similar to the FIT ME! foundation bottle. Very Pleasing to the eye and would look great on any vanity. I decided that I was not going to use the FIT ME! foundation with this finishing powder because I wanted to see how well it blended with another brand of foundation. Instead, I used the Black Radiance Color Perfect Oil-Free Foundation (which is another one of my favs!) I applied the loose powder on top of my foundation as a finisher and it blended perfectly. Honestly, I did not expect the colors to blend so well, but this finishing powder is the perfect finisher. When I was dusting it on my face I could see my foundation matting up instantly. The texture is so soft and dainty. It is so lightweight and not ashy looking at all. It looks amazing on the skin. It didn’t come with a brush so I just used a bronzing brush that I already had. It is so even and easy to spread over my skin. After a couple of hours I really didn’t have to re-apply it. I have combination skin and It held the oils from my face in pretty well. SUCH a good setting powder!

Before I had purchased this product, I had never really "baked" my face before, mainly because I didn't have a loose setting powder and the process itself looked tricky and intimidating for an amateur like me. I had heard amazing things about this product, and so I decided to face my fears and purchase this product for baking my face for the very first time. I knew what to do and how to bake, so it wasn't difficult at all when figuring out just what exactly to do with the product and how to apply it; I was just personally worried I would still find some way regardless to mess up the process and leave my face looking like a ghost or something of that nature. I bought this product in the lightest shade available (05 Fair), and it pairs perfectly with my Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless and Maybelline SuperStay Full Coverage Foundations (both in the shade 112 Natural Ivory). I was immediately pleasantly surprised when using this product for the first time to bake, mainly because of how much it melted into the skin beautifully and almost instantly. It brightened up my face beautifully, but not too much to the point where I looked like Casper the Friendly Ghost. I still have yet to test whether or not it creates flashback, but so far I've heard from others who have used it that it doesn't. I also bought the Real Techniques Miracle Powder Blending Sponge specifically for this product and for baking, and it was the best decision I ever made. It's as if the two were meant to be together. I always dampen the sponge before going in with the powder and it makes the application, appearance, and finish so easy and beautiful, and flawless. I will note though that it does tend to settle into creases under the eye just a little bit, but it's really not that dramatic or noticeable - which is why I will continue to use this product + still recommend it to a friend, as well as give it a perfect rating. If you're looking for an amazing loose setting powder on a budget, get this now! Less user

Not the Worst but Not Buying Again

I bought this because of the hype it received and the supposedly great reviews it had since it was said to be similar to Laura Mercier. With my experience, the powder would often create a caked look that did not look natural whatsoever and sometimes it looked very ashy. I also noticed that when I tried to use the powder using a damp beauty blender, the powder would darken which DEFINITELY didn't look good so I just used a dry beauty blender to apply. I would also recommend not baking! It seems like the powder sets fast and the longer you let it bake the more cakey and weird looking it gets. Because I didn't have any other setting powders I just had to use it because there were no other options and I made it look do-able by using some other products I had such as bronzer and foundation powder to not make it look too ashy and dry. But I'm definitely switching to Laura Mercier now. It just wasn't for me. Less

I use the Maybelline loose setting powder in shade: deep! I follow Jackie Aina’s setting powder tips and use it to bump up my prime + prep stage and for setting my concealers. Unlike my usage of airspun I don’t get any flash back and I don’t crease on my under eyes. This setting powder is also WOC friendly and does not break the bank (and this is coming from a full time college student). Also please excuse the photo it’s a screenshot from a Snapchat video! 😂 Edit: I do get flashback! This product contains ingredients that attribute to flashback- I will still leave 5 stars on it though because the foundation I use also contains ingredients that attribute to flashback. I love this powder still but will be using much less of it. If flashback isn’t a care in your world then get this powder!

Hello! I have combination to oily skin and currently use the @Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation but my skin got flakier when I started applying my foundation. Could it be because of the foundation or because of my acne medication which includes tretinoin, a retin a, has been drying my skin out a lot? Also, can I please get suggestions on primers, setting sprays, concealers, powders to use after concealer, and foundation? Thank you!

In need for a full coverage drugstore foundation that’s not cakey but kinda of a natural look. Also a good setting powder? My face is dry but my nose gets really oily

When I set my concealer under my eyes (Elf matte Camo concealer and Airpun loose powder). It makes my concealer look patchy and not cute. Any recommendations??

I use the same concealer and it might just be the airspun loose powder because I use this maybelline one and it looks FLAWLESS.
