Never buying anything else

I bought this BB cream on a whim because I have been having a difficult time finding a foundation that matched my neck perfectly and this color seemed to do the trick. This was very inexpensive and I thought I should give it a try. I have been struggling with minor acne recently; the occasional pimple here and there as well as some small bumps on my forehead. To use this, I apply a bit of E.L.F. green color correcting primer and then put this on my face with a dampened beauty blender.Pros:-For a BB cream, this covers my skin better than 90% of my high end foundations. Seriously. It seems to even out my complexion (could be a combo of the ELF primer as well) as I have blotchy red patches on my skin. It's actually unbelievable how well this meant-to-be sheer BB cream covers your face. I have no complains on the coverage end because it really does an amazing job.-Second, after about a week of use, I noticed my acne was virtually gone. And I mean really just about gone which is crazy to think because I bought this product on sale for around 5 dollars.Cons:-Really I have none. The only possible con is that I feel to get the coverage I want, I do feel like I have to put a pretty good size glob of product but it does come in a 1.0 oz normal size container so maybe I just have a heavy hand while squeezing out the product. Regardless, it is so inexpensive that I would not mind buying this on a more regular basis than foundations that are expensive. I would say you get a solid month to maybe 2 months use out of it if you use it daily (ITS STILL AFFORDABLE SO WHO CARES THOUGH?!!?!?)To conclude:I think its great that a product that goes on as a great light to medium coverage, not oily or greasy, and perfectly lightweight for summertime that can also CLEAR ACNE!! is totally worth a try. For the price I don't see how someone shouldn't try it if they are on the fence about it. I have super sensitive skin and it worked absolute wonders for me. « less

My favorite!

I'm fair skin, very oily, and prefer natural looking makeup. This is one of my favorite products for everyday wear. Been using this over 4 years. I used to have horrible breakouts and when I started using this, YES.. it DID make me break out a little more... That's what it does like all other acne medications. I didn't give it up because it gave the perfect coverage that I wanted, I hate heavy makeup and this is lightweight. So after using it continuously, it cleared my acne. For years it would just slide off of my face by midday or in the afternoon because I have oily skin and the humidity sucks in New Orleans, but as you get older, you learn tricks. The way it lasts ALL day with me is that I moisturize with Neutrogena's oil free moisturizer, wait 5 min, then prime with E.L.F's Hydrating Face Primer, wait another 5 min, and then apply the BB cream. I've found this works best for me and lasts most of the day. I always recommend this product along with my skincare routine for those who want light makeup. The picture I selected is using only the BB cream and some light blush (of course eyeliner and mascara). It applies evenly and you don't have to use a lot of product since it's meant for lightweight use. If you want to cover up red pimples, use some concealer and blend it out.

This is the only foundation that I can use day to day without breaking out. It’s a little dark for my skin tone but it works. I love that it’s light coverage it just makes my skin look even without being heavy. Very good for a natural look.

Love IT!

I love this product!! I started using this about 6 months ago and i was skeptical about doing so. I have tried others and they just seem to make my skin worse but not this. Let me explain I have very fair/porcelain skin riddled with acne scares, big pores from having acne all my life. I still get some breakouts here and there but my skin has been ruin but this stuff saved it! I also have a touch of rosacea on my cheeks. Not anymore! It does what it says it will do and it is a light coverage but it does have a bit more than other bb creams which i do like. I wear it alone or as a primer! If I wear alone i will set with maybelline shine free loose powder to have that all day matte ( since my skin is super oily) look and it stays for sure at least a good 8 hours then i may touch up some! So for daytime it is all I need. But if I am going out I will use under a foundation but I will only put foundation where my most troublesome spots are, on my cheeks or chin and it blends so well with the FIT ME matte and pore-less foundation!! ( which I am in love with also) And it gives me great coverage and last for so long! After 6 months the redness in my face is gone, my skin is SOOO smooth, my pores are smaller and my skin actually looks more radiant! Thanks Maybelline you outdid yourself on this!! « less

Break outs & Weird color

So I haven't worn make-up on my face in a long time. Used to wear foundation every day and stopped 2+ years ago. I didn't want to get back into foundation but i wanted something to protect my skin from sun and give a little color. This formula slides off the face, even when my skin is properly prepped. Makes my face look so oily and I have dry skin... so how does that work? I haven't had chin acne since i stopped foundation and since I've started this product, it has come back aggressively. Acne appears in places I never broke out before. Baby bumps cover my whole face as soon as I blend this into my skin. I used the whole bottle to give it a fair shot and see if it's me, but my skin got worse and worse with the wear, and when I stopped, my face didn't break out. Avoid this if you have sensitive or oily skin. Even with dry skin the oil buildup is crazy! The colors are off as well and i'm not sure if they oxidize but i definitely see a difference in color from applying to when it's dry. Less

I’m looking for a tinted moisturizer or something similar (that gives off natural matte finish) for combo skin? I’m usually oily in my tzone. Don’t need a heavy foundation w full coverage, light coverage can also be good. #sos #foundation

What’s everyone’s favorite BB CREAM and/or tinted moisturizer? I have combination skin and it can be sensitive at times. I like a light weight and natural look!!

I use maybelline. It leaves skin a little bit dewy (I prefer matte) but it’s very lightweight and natural.

Best BB cream for super dry skin? Also do BB creams still need primer, like foundation?🤔
