I really love this bb cream! Especially when I’m trying to go for more of a natural look or just like want to keep it simple. It’s lightweight and it’s very hydrating. I have pretty dry skin and it looks amazing on me.

Former Glory

Don't be fooled by a lot of these 5-star reviews; they look to be over 5 years old. Many of the new reviews share a common complaint, and it's why I'm writing today. That complaint is:FORMULA CHANGE.This BB cream must have undergone a formula change, because the texture alone is VASTLY different by comparison. This BB cream used to be and is SUPPOSED to be dewy, hydrating, and highlighting. "Lightweight" is the keyword, so the formula used to be thinner and easier to spread and layer. Now the formula is thick, mattifying, drying, and they removed several shades from this line. This new formula settles on ALL my imperfections, flakes super fast, and does a huge disservice to my dry skin; something it's SUPPOSED to be helping.I don't like it. I used to really like this product as an alternative to heavy foundations, but this new formula feels exactly the same as one. What a shame.I don't recommend if you have dry skin, if you're looking for a lightweight BB cream, or if you used to like this product. I just don't recommend it at all. Less

Perfect

I have a 40 dollar BB cream, and this one is MUCH better. I have been using this daily for a couple of months. It hasn't given me any problems- No breakouts or irritation. I began using it out of laziness. Tired of my foundation routine, I wanted something easy to apply- Something I could do with my fingers. Something I could apply quickly in the car when I was running late. Turns out, this is perfect for that, but it's more, too. This provides light coverage, which is what BB creams are supposed to do. Don't expect a foundation. It won't cover up redness and blemishes completely, but it will "blur" them, giving a more uniform appearance to your complexion. The sheerness of the pigment means it'll work for most skin tones. It also provides a beautiful, natural, dewy finish. Skin looks healthier, moisturized with a bit of a glow. Some people have complained of the product oxidizing on them, but I have not observed this at all. The light coverage and SPF make this a great summer product, but it's moisturizing properties make it wonderful for the dry winter months. It's creamy, but not heavy. Definitely more of a liquid, but still moisturizing, without being greasy AT ALL. This will not make you shiny if you use a bit of powder on the T-zone. I use a bit of concealer over it, blush and setting powder (cream blushes will melt into the BB cream and look natural and radiant), a little mascara and lip gloss, and I have that much-coveted "no-makeup" makeup look. It lasts more or less all day, although I sometimes have to touch up my concealer and powder. I could go on raving, but I will just say this: Don't waste your money on expensive BB creams. This is the best BB cream I've used (although I admit, I haven't tried them all). I will be very upset if this is ever discontinued. One thing: The packaging makes this product look like it's designed for pubescent girls, but I think this would be wonderful for all ages.

Like a dream and all that it seems

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB is an 8-in-1 beauty balm skin perfector. It claims to blur imperfections, enhance, brighten, adjust to skin tone, smooth, hydrate, protect with SPF 30, and be light with 0% oils. I used this lotion every day for a week to test it out.On the first claim of the BB cream, that it blurs imperfections, I would have to agree. I have some brown spots on my face, and the cream diminishes the look of them. The yellow tones of the cream also tone down my ruddy complexion, making my redness much less noticeable. On the second claim of enhancement, I would agree as well. Most liquid make-up that I have tried before tends to show more of my wrinkles, rather than hide them. Dream Fresh BB does not highlight my wrinkles. Instead, it makes them less noticeable. And it even helps with dark circles under the eyes. To explain, I went to an interview after tossing and turning all night. I did not sleep well at all, so I made sure to put on my Dream Fresh BB. I went to the interview and when I returned, my husband asked me how I was. I told him I was really tired, but he said I didn't look tired at all. Thanks to the BB cream! As for brightening, I could see that right away when I put on the cream. It gave me a glow, and made me feel and look younger.I used the light/medium shade of BB cream, and although it went on a little lighter than my natural skin tone, it adjusted so that you could not tell. There were no obvious lines where the coverage stopped. And it gave me the natural look that I like.As far a s the smoothing and hydrating go, my skin looks much more supple. The fine lines are not showing, and the dry skin on my forehead is gone, without the use of other moisturizing products. The cream goes on smoothly and is very lightweight on my skin. It does not feel heavy or oily. And while titanium dioxide is listed as the BB cream's active ingredient for sunscreen, the concentration is much lower than I have found in other SPF 30 sunscreens. I am not sure how well it acts as a sunscreen with only a 1.15% of titanium dioxide, while other SPF 30 sunscreen have 3%, 5%, or more.Overall, I think the BB cream is super product. It gives me a natural look while evening out my skin tone. The cream goes on easily with even coverage. It gives me a radiance I love, helps my skin stay hydrated and smooth, and helps protect my skin from the sun's harmful rays. On a scale of 5 stars, I definitely rate this as a 5-star product. « less

SO FRICKEN GOOD!

I love this product,I live in Australia and I've never been keen to try BB creams because the heat over here is overwhelming for me and I always thought it would just melt of my face as it isn't full coverage. I was starting to find though that during the warm summer months a full foundation routine was not going to cut it. I use Mac pro long wear and it has such a thick consistency and in the summer months it honestly felt like it was clogging my pores and its gotta be doing something bad because I ended getting brake outs all over my checks! I thought I would try a BB cream out as its suppose to be light weight, natural looking, have SPF in it and wont clog pores. I can honestly say the first time using this product was today and I absolutely love it I was scared that it was would be really sheer coverage and that I would have to mix it with my foundation but that was not the case! It gave me medium coverage and the colour suited my skin really well. Didn't leave it looking streaky and wasn't cakey at all! I applied a powder over the BB cream as I like full coverage without the look of full coverage and with the powder on top of this BB cream it absolutely Complimented my face! I am in love with this product and ill probably be putting the foundation away for a little while as I no longer see the need to use such a thick consistency on my face! I have normal skin with no current brake outs and no blemishes or un even skin tones so this BB cream didn't really have to cover anything and when I applied it I could see my skin underneath so I was pleased with that. There was no odd smell and the liquid wasn't too runny nor too thick it is a lightweight formula and didn't go on streaky or watery, my skin feels like it can breath which is a major plus for me. 10 out of 10 for this product. « less

Hello lovelies, anybody know of a good talc free, medium to buildable coverage, that is semi matte definitely not all the way matte liquid foundation? And a good everyday lightweight foundation or bb cream?

I've never really used a foundation (just a concealer on my t zone and under my eyes). I've got super clear skin and an even skin tone so I've never seen the point. I recently asked what I could to to help creasing and rubbing/sweating off or splotchiness (nyx pore primer, Tarte shape tape, airspun powder, urban decay setting spray.) Someone suggested I start using foundation, would this actually help if so what is your HG for combination skin that won't sweat off?

hi! so I think if you have good skin you should avoid foundation. But if you would like to use it, I would recommend a BB cream or CC cream instead. These have better ingredients than foundations but are not that high in coverage that being said, if you have good skin you won’t need crazy full coverage. I use the maybelline dream BB cream everyday and I love it! Not to pricey either.

does anyone have a good tinted moisturizer they use on combination skin? 🙈 i’m currently using Florence by Mills but it’s too dry for my skin and doesn’t have a natural/dewy finish so i mix it in with a maybelline tinted moisturizer (for color) and ponds moisturizer to help :/ i want something with sheer to light coverage, doesn’t look cakey, and has a natural or dewy finish!
