Best products for super sensitive skin? I usually use dove sensitive skin bar soap (out of everything I’ve tried it’s the only thing that doesn’t break me out) 2x a day & neutrogena hydro boost gel moisturizer! I need an actual face wash!! Help

I had extremely sensitive skin and can only use unscented bar soap to clean my face. my skin will break out in hives or a random rash if i use anything else. Does anyone know a good facial cleanser specifically made to not cause allergic reactions?

I would honestly suggest finding a fragrance free drugstore cleanser. It is important that it does not contain any fragrance. Bar soaps tend to be very drying because the ph has to be more extreme to be in bar form. This means that it strips your skin of its natural skin barrier making it even more sensitive. I’d recommend checking out Dr. Dray on youtube. She is a dermatologist who does shop with me for skincare videos.

I’ve always used a bar soap but I want to switch up to a body wash. What are some great body washes while on a budget?

I ran across this one time on sale and I’m pretty sure it’s affordable even at full price but Bath and Body Works has a line of body washes in their signature scents that contains Shea butter and coconut oil. I used the Hyaluronic acid version in Cactus Water scent and it’s my new favorite body wash!

So, long story time: About a year ago I was using the Cetaphil gentle face wash and heard good reviews about the Cetaphil bar soap and started using that instead. All of a sudden I got terrible acne and it has not stopped since. I had PERFECT skin before I tried that with only the occasional hormonal breakout (being a girl sucks , ladies). I do not know what skincare products are rhe best. I’ve been on antibiotics (worked great but interferes with my other medications), I’ve been on proactiv for 4 months and haven’t seen a difference at all, and I’ve tried changing my diet (took a food sensitivity test as well) and nothing is working. Has anyone tried this skincare routine?? If so, how is it?

I haven’t tried those products, but I got terrible acne when I moved to Florida last year after having pretty decent breakout free skin throughout my life. A doctor recommended Cetaphil, so I used it religiously for months and saw no change - if anything it got worse even after I moved back home to Ohio thinking it’d get better in the climate my body was used to. So I started looking for new products and I heard a lot of great reviews about Korean skincare brands. I picked up all my products at TJ Maxx for great prices, and since switching to them about a month ago I’ve noticed a HUGE difference. My skin is so much more clear and I haven’t had but maybe 2 bad pimples. I am currently using JJ Young Pore Cooling cleanser, Frudia Toner and Brightening serum, I Dew Care spot treatment, and Dewytree Miracle Clear Serum, as well as a moisturizer from I think a company in New Zealand. If you google Korean Skincare, you’ll find a ton of great products and I’m beginning to think they’re the holy grail lol. If you do purchase from TJ Maxx or Marshall’s, just be sure to double check the expiration date. After it was all said and done, I think I’ve purchased about 7-8 products for around $50 total.

Can anyone tell me a good chemical exfoliant for sensitive acne prone skin? I’m looking for something that won’t irritate my skin. I use the banish acne scars pumpkin enzyme masque but it’s too expensive and I won’t be purchasing it anymore. I’ve also tried the ordinary aha bha but it’s too harsh on my skin. Pls help!

Physical exfoliation will make it worse. Try chemical like this one. Also try Olehenriksen PHAT glow facial.

I need recommendations for a semi permanent eyebrow/lash tint. I currently use Baebrow and it doesn’t last more than 24 hours. I usually get my brows done at the Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta and the tint they use lasts almost 6 weeks. I. Love. It. But If I can do all of that from the comfort of my own home - I will!

You HAVE to try this! I know it may seem scary but this for your eyebrows is Amazing!!! It stays for about a week and you get multiple uses out of this box. Just apply with a qtip leave on for 2-5 minutes depending how dark you want and what shade you picked!

Lush has a great range. I’ve been trying to go plastic free and switched to all bars. I love the avocado shampoo. It’s moisturizing but cleanses well.

I feel like we spend an awful lot of time talking about skin-types and the best way to care for each one, however nobody seems to ever talk about mature skin or that weird transition skin place that starts in your late 20s to early 30s. Just knowing whether your skin is oily or dry isn’t enough when you hit that awkward zone of needing wrinkle cream and acne treatments at the same time. Hi middle aged puberty, how are ya? So as one of the many many women who have spent a small fortune trying to find the best of both world, I have put my daily skin routine into a handy one stop spot for you. I am late 30s, have sensitive skin with hormonal acne. I have lines, wrinkles, and a whole mess of texture and red splotchy skin. I have spend years tweaking my skincare routine, finding the things that work the best and avoiding the things that make it worse. I hope you find this useful and that it sends you on your own skincare exploration journey. #BeautyVerse #MatureSkin #Skincare #Routine Daily Skincare Routine Morning: - Rinse with warm water & fresh cotton cloth (not a wash cloth) - Pixi Glow Tonic - The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum - Olehenriksen Truth Serum - Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer - Algenist Complete Eye Renewal balm - Bite Beauty Lip mask - Supergoop! So I have sensitive skin and I tried the Urban Skin RX Even Tone cleansing bar because I was told it would help my skin, getting rid of my acne and acne scarring and my skin immediately started burning, I thought it was just working so I kept washing my face and then after I used the moisturizer and that burned even more that the cleanser. My skin turned bright red and stayed red for about 2 days. My skin is now rough and really dry and I dont really know what to use to cleanse my face now. If anyone has any tips or products to use for sensitive skin that you can get from Target or drugstore, anything helps!
