I'm really impressed with the smooth texture and powerful pigmentation of these eyeshadows!
"Take a Memo", is a soft bone beige, perfect as a matte highlight.
"Next Season" is a darling sheer ivory gold shimmer, ideal for layering to draw light.
"We'll See" is a cool neutral matte brown great as a transition or crease color.
"Pleather Python" is easily my favorite - a gorgeous, glimmering 24 karat gold with excellent staying power and payoff, even without foiling. Metallics can easily be disappointing, but this one is a delight!
"Making a Scene" is a unique and very soft pearl in a grey/green/steel shade.
"Enviously" is a rich, matte forest green. I find this one works lovely as a soft, smokey liner.
"Everywhere" is at first glance a deep night sky shade sprinkled with tiny gold twinkles, but I found it applied as a strong, pure black. This one is POWERFUL and the tiniest touch is enough to get a firm black effect. I'm about disappointed that the gold flecks don't appear when applied, but with the brilliant gold of "Pleather Python" in this palette, the effect can still easily be achieved and is no great loss.
The palette is intuitively layed out, and I was easily able to made a full eye look using all shades without feeling I was lacking or had an excess of anything.
The plastic palette casing is elegant and feels a bit like a large, long pill case. It took me a moment to figure out that the silver piece on the front is a push button that pops the lid open, rather than a knob to pull up. I like the push to open feature much better! The mirror inside fills the entire lid, and though it's still a bit small to do your entire face in, it's a good use of the small space and would be ideal to do eye makeup in. There is no space inside for a brush, so be aware to have your own brushes ready.
Overall it's a lovely and luxurious beauty splurge and I'm very happy to add it to my repertoire. :)
