Not the greatest experience.

I've been using this product for a couple weeks now, and I'm not one to usually use primers, but I have been getting a lot of small bumps on my face since I've been using it. It is very thin also, which can be good I guess, but for me, personally, my skin is not having it. It does help with keeping my makeup stay on longer though. I can tell the difference on how my skin doesn't look so oily later in the day, so thats a plus. But I can only give this a 2 because of the way my skin has been reacting to it. I have normal skin as well, not too oily or dry. I also have light skin, and don't wear a lot of face makeup at all, pretty much just the primer, sometimes the fix+ spray, concealer, bronzer, translucent powder, and blush, but no foundation. I've also heard that this product works well for dark skin, so maybe thats why I don't see a huge difference like a lot of other women do. So if you don't mind getting a few pimples from this product, or you just have awesome skin and wanna check it out, go for it.

It's magic! More than just another primer

Makes my skin smoother, softer, and works wonderfully under my NARS Sheer Glow foundation. I went without this recently for 2 weeks (thinking I would just cut out another product) but during that time the difference was obvious -- my makeup would slowly melt off, oily and shiny before mid-day, and I needed more product in the morning to have the same coverage. I reordered immediately. This makes my skin look flawless, and keeps my makeup intact throughout the entire workday without touch-ups. I use two small pumps and it's more than enough. Works best if you let it dry completely before applying foundation or other product (5-10 minutes) -- I put this on immediately after sunscreen, go about my morning routine, and then come back to apply foundation. It just really makes all the difference between an ok-makeup day & a carefree, touch-up free and flawless finish one. This primer doesn't cause my sensitive skin any irritation or outbreaks, and it's an incredibly smooth, comfortable, lightweight formula. I've used other primers before and just thought they didn't have much purpose. I recommend this product highly. Even on a no-makeup make up day, I will find myself using this product. On two pumps a day (5-days a week) this pump will last seriously about 6 months. Great for the price, very happy with this MAC purchase, thank you! « less

Can't live without it

I recently changed my make up routine to MAC (from another brand who discontinued my favorite foundation). I have large pores, occassional hormonal acne, and sensitive skin, with patches of dryness on my cheeks and oily T-zone.. The MAC associate recommended Complete Comfort Cream, this Natural Radiance Base, Face&Body Foundation, Mineralized Skin Finish and Fix Spray. I always wait a few hours to see if my face slides off or if I break out. I am on Day 7 of the same routine and no break outs! Hurray! I thought I could live without the Natural Radiance Base but the MAC associate suggested I go 1 day without to see if I noticed a difference. And boy did I notice the difference! Without - my face appeared dull and matte. With Natural Radiance Base, I felt like my face had an inner glow; the light reflected better off my face and seem to soft focus my lines and pores. Now I can't live without it! I must say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Complete Comfort Cream. Nordy's doesn't seem to sell it on-line but the store has it in stock. It really soothing and non greasy! I HIGHLY recommend the Complete Comfort Cream too. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>

Adds youth and radiance all day long!

The makeup artist at the store recommended this product and I really thought it would be like other primers I've used - looks great for an hour, then fades away - but I was wrong! This primer manages to hydrate the skin without adding oil, it fills in little wrinkles without looking "masky" and is so lightweight, I feel as though I have nothing on! And, even though I have very oily skin (with menopausal hot flashes to boot!) this product stays on and looks great all day long. I really am amazed! I use the Studio Fix foundation on top of this and it binds and holds all day long and looks very natural even though it provides great coverage. My skin looks 10 years younger!!! LOL!!! But I'm not kidding. I highly recommend this product. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thank you, Mac! « less

L.O.V.E.!!!!!!

i started off with studio fix compact w/t fondation I found a new love that day. love that stuff too, it started the ball rolling to trying mac's full line. i cant believe the quality of everything ive tried. no wonder its used by make up artists and worn by models and on red carpets all the time.I totally love this stuff. i have the pickiest skin ever. its sensitive and dry and oily and gets breakouts..I get it all.. this stuff doesn't give me any problems. it makes my skin smooth.. my skin gets patches. this stuff evens it out and helps ALOT with the redness if not takes it away. (depending on how bad it is that day) i don't wear make up all the time so i thought this stuff would feel heavy but NOPE! it goes on rubs in smooths everything out and makes my mac makeup.(which i only started using on my honeymoon last June of 2010and ill never change. I'm trying everything over time and so far soooo good! mac stays on really well)this stuff makes it even better. love it. it really makes a difference. i always thought primer was just a gimmick Have to say i was totally wrong there. no matter your skin type u should definitely try this stuff its very worth the money. and I've still got my first bottle. i bought this stiff at least 9 months ago. u only need about 3/4 of the size of a pea. IF THAT. seriously don't use more or you'll be simply waisting it. and this is not something u want to waste. its practically worth its weight in gold or more!!!!!. GIVE IT A GO. I BET YOULL LOVE IT. « less

Post skin care glowy quick face!✨ took my light makeup off once I got back to my dorm after a long day of classes and needed a little relaxing session before I went to study with a group of friends. Did the YesTo Unicorn Peel off mask, Kylie skin vanilla milk toner, cbd brightening serum, Murad acne clearing solution, and Mac Radiance primer. I followed with the actual makeup: abh foundation stick to contour blended out with beauty blender before makeup,Elf foundation applied w beauty blender and builded to desired coverage, dermablend to bake/set all over and flicked off, L’Oréal powder all over w Jaclyn hill powder brush, elf kabuki brush, then layered in contour areas w jh contour brush. Light blush with Nars dusted rose I think is the name, highlight in tartlette pallet w small brush on cheek bones, forehead, chin, upper lip, and lightly on jaw and above eyes. Lastly, naked illumination (the sparkles one) on highlight spots and finished with too faced hangover setting spray and too faced liquid melted lipstick.

My mom came to visit me at school today, and this was my makeup for our day out! I’ve been out of my Kylie Cosmetics concealer for so long now, and I really haven’t found any of the other concealers that I have to go well with the Mac foundation I love. I was super impressed today when I got more and was able to use this base duo again. I forget how smooth and seamlessly finished it looks on my skin! After applying these, then baking with the dermablend powder, when I flick all the powder off it just looks like porcelain almost. I don’t know that I’ll ever find a better duo for me lol. Also I layered MAC cream sheen lipstick in Creme in My Coffee under the buxom lipstick, and it made the perfect color/finish. I’m definitely going to be turning to this pair often as well.

Loved this soft glam I did the other day. It was quick, yet looked very fixed up. Kinda felt like it was a little Cinderella inspired haha. Missing products are Kylie Cosmetics True Mama highlighter, Handbag Ho lip liner, Winter Kissed blush, Kybrow brow pencil, and High Maintenance matte liquid lipstick.

So I’m about to move off to start college, and yesterday I did a really simple, quick look that would be great for going to class. I thought I’d post it so I’d remember what I used.🙂 Products that I couldn’t tag include Kylighter in French vanilla and Kylie Cosmetics Allergic to Bulls**t matte liquid lipstick. I also forgot to tag Too Faced Hangover setting spray.

I haven’t done a bold red look in a long time and apparently I’ve really missed it! I used to do a look very similar to this a couple years ago, so it was fun to kinda redo it with the new products and skills and maturity that I didn’t have before. Red is one of the colors for the college that I’m about to attend, so I was trying out a possible game day outfit/makeup duo. Missing products are Kylie Cosmetics Kybrow pencil and under brow highlight stick.

What’s better between @Prep + Prime Natural Radiance and @Hangover Primer ?? I’ve tried the Mac and it worked really really well on my skin, but I want to know if Two Faced would be similar if not better! #primer #help
