OILY GIRLS REJOICE!!!

I have tried A MILLION things in the search for perfect skin, and i have finally found it! This product is the BEST BEST BEST in the market!I am in my mid 20's with skin that LOVES to act up! Ranges from sort-of normal to really oily, with large pores and acne breakouts. Needless to say, i've got stuff to conceal (got dark circles, too), including pores, really uneven tone and acne scars... My skin also reacts to lots of stuff in makeup (by breaking-out) - so i made a rule: no cheap stuff with this already troubled face!Long story short: never would have thought a TINTED MOISTURIZER could do the trick for my troubled skin - Not enough coverage, right??? A moisturizer to put on top of oily skin that breaks out??? Counter-intuitive! (That's stuff's for girls who don't really need to wear makeup, anyway - right???) NO!While I never even gave this product a thought as an option for me, but only tried it because i got a free sample from Sephora, I am now SO glad that i did! This product produces the most natural, dewy-looking BUILDABLE and long-lasting coverage out there! It blends perfectly into skin, even if it tends toward oiliness or break-outs, and NO ONE can tell you have makeup on! AND it does NOT disintegrate as the day goes by, either (although it helps to use blotting papers if you are REALLY oily)! Also, for an oily girl to look dewy - and not oily??? It can be done! ;)This product also seemed to stop pores on my face from over-producing oil, while it moisturized the dry parts of my face back to life - it evened everything out and made my skin look (and feel) very VERY HEALTHY, LUMINOUS and UNTROUBLED - like a really good, exactly-right-for-me skincare product!Healthy-looking dewy skin, day after day after day! This has been my skin care/makeup dream for AGES and I have only attained it by using this product! I have never felt or looked more beautiful, and my skin looks now like it did when i was a pre-teen!;)LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I would die if it was ever discontinued! « less

I’m now ditching foundation

I’m going to be honest and start by saying I’ve used tinted moisturizers in the past, and found them pretty pointless/useless. This was not the case. This tinted moisturizer blew me away. I was absolutely amazed. I’ve suffered a great deal from acne, and I have horrible purple scars that typically require a great amount of concealer and decent coverage foundation. Like all new facial makeup, I try it by itself before mixing and matching with products. After all, this is a tinted moisturizer meant to usually be used with subtle products like a primer or illuminator. As from my acne, I have oily skin and was scared to use this product. If you’re worried too.. stop. There’s no need to be. As long as your acne is reduced to scars and little to no bumps, this product will give you almost full coverage while smoothing skin, making you glow, protecting your skin, and keeping oily away. That’s right, as long as you use a thin layer of translucent powder over, I’ve had no oil issues. I’ve had no caked issues like I do with foundation.. and most of all, I forget this is on my face while I’m wearing it! It’s so lightweight, especially if you use the Laura Mercier primer with it! I’ve had a lot of bad products come my way, and my skin loves to reject every single one of them. Imaging purchasing something so expensive just to have your acne bust out afterwards. Too bad they don’t refund that. This is not one of those products. I feel like this tinted moisturizer is a life saver. You get skin protection, even skin, an amazing healthy and natural looking glow, and you can’t even tell it’s there! I also have large pores, and as long as you derma roll and use this product (from my experience) it doesn’t affect pores (it doesn’t make them bigger) if anything they seem smaller since it evens out skin tone. I feel blessed to have had this product come into my life. « less

Disappointing

When I think about this tinted moisturizer, I try to compare it to other similar products I own, from $5 to $50. In my opinion, LM's really is a let down. While the coverage is sheer (which is what you want in a TM) it really just seemed to give a weird tint to my face rather than actually make it look more even and smooth, if that makes sense. A good tinted moisturizer or BB cream will really smooth out your complexion. I have dry skin and powders do not work for me at all, so I stick to only liquid TMs, foundations and BB creams. I found that this stuck to and even drew attention to any imperfections or rough patches on my skin. To be honest, I have several drugstore products at a fraction of the cost that are both a better match in color (I have fair skin), produce more natural looking and impressive results, even some with higher SPF, and that make me break out less. While I didn't have major, highly problematic breakouts with this, I did notice it negatively affecting my skin's appearance overall - small pimples mostly.Overall: you can do better. « less

The Best; Just As I Expected It Would Be!

I've been wanting this for years and it always passed me by. This year I was finally able to get it and I got it straightaway. It took some trial and error as my complexion is not the easiest one to to match. Usually, the darkest of the lighter colours are too light, the lightest of the darker colours too dark, and I have yellow undertones. I also personally have to be careful because I have some allergies and cannot use anything with Red Dye (red #40, etc.) in it. Thankfully, for allergy sufferers alike there are no dyes in this tinted moisturiser at all. Once we got the correct colour down pat everything was a go. I have oily skin (especially in my T-zone; also worse in the summer time) therefore I chose the Oil-Free formula in the Dark Brown tube. It's sheer which is preferable so you can build up to your liking. I didn't detect a fragrance. I like that better. I don't need a fragrant makeup going up my nose for hours making me queasy. Twenty (20) is the SPF Level. That works out perfect because 90% of the time you'll put regular moisturiser underneath, so in total 35 may be your min SPF when you add them both up. It's light, doesn't feel or look heavy on your face. I love this property of it because Summertime is not the Season for heavy makeup. Do watch what type of moisturiser you wear underneath. The more mattifying the moisturiser (i. e., Murad Oil Control Mattifying Moisturiser ) the more chalky or ghostly you will look. I think it may be from the high concentration of Titanium Dioxide in mattifying moisturisers. It won't run down your face during the heat ( I sometimes add some sheer powder overtop to set it). You don't get a completely mattifing look, but one in between matte and dewy. Overall, I love it. I think the colour range could of been a smidgen more accurate (esp. in the med ranges on and I'm not dark at all!) but overall it's an incredible Tinted Moisturiser that leaves you with a flawless face for the entire day. This is one that I'm sure I'll be purchasing over and over for years to come. Amusez-vous!

Anyone know of a great tinted moisturizer that won’t make my skin look flakey or dry when applied to my skin, I’ve tried Clinique moisture surge and first aid beauty’s shade rage isn’t light enough for my skin. I have super dry, sensitive, acne prone skin. I’ve applied tinted moisturizer with my hands which left my skin flakey, then applied moisturizer and applied with a brush but still had the same affect, am I doing something wrong?? I want a natural finish without the hassle of a lot of makeup

I’m looking for a tinted moisturizer or something similar (that gives off natural matte finish) for combo skin? I’m usually oily in my tzone. Don’t need a heavy foundation w full coverage, light coverage can also be good. #sos #foundation

What’s everyone’s favorite BB CREAM and/or tinted moisturizer? I have combination skin and it can be sensitive at times. I like a light weight and natural look!!

I really like the Laura mercier tinted moisturizer. It makes my skin look glowy and naturally sun kissed. I also have combination/sometimes sensitive skin and this never bothered me
