decided to try the lancome concealer and loved it, no it is not as good as amazing cosmetics but it is so light, you can't ever tell you have it on and while it does not cover the heavy duty stuff 100% like the other, it is dam close with such a light feel

Buildable coverage undereye

At forty something, okay 47 years old. WIth fair, yellow tone skn, green eyes. I have had an makeup epiphany. When buying concealer, (for the last two decades) I would always buy the lightest shade, thinking that is what I was supposed to do, to brighten my eyes. Instead, I think I at times may have more resembled a raccoon.. :O0 I have discovered that carefully selecting a concealer closer to my skin/foundation color, looks more natural and covers my dark under eye circles. I am now using and love the EFFACERNES in Neutral and Medium Buff, and the MAQUICOMPLET in Camee and Dore. These are so creamy, that I find I have very little (if any) product collecting in lines/wrinkles. Two Thumbs Up - This product is creamy, buildable for medium-full coverage, great selection of colors and there is very little build up during the day in lines/wrinkles. « less

Perfect coverage AND no lines

I did a lot of research and found this as a highly recommended undereye concealer. It is hydrating, goes on smoothly and easily with the sponge tip applicator, and has medium to high coverage (for an undereye concealer). Amazingly, it doesn't settle into fine lines (it covers yet is hydrating enough to doesn't move). My eyes truly look brigther (I got the color corrector yellow since I have very pale/ fair skin and it looked the most natural). I do apply it with the sponge and then blend with a concealer brush. No powder is necessary to set it, so it stays looking "youthful" and "fresh", no cakiness or weird powder color. My other favorite concealer has been the one in the Laura Mercier pot and that one settles more into lines than this one does.

Dreamy Creamy Coverage

I've been searching for a concealer for a while; tried drug store brands and tested high end products. Most were too matte and too drying. They made my sensitive under eye skin HURT and some even made my eyes burn. Then i tried Maquicomplet... I LOVE this stuff! It's smooth and creamy and blends beautifully without tugging or pulling, so it feels great on my dry sensitive skin. And it's buildable - i use one dot, blend out, and if i want more coverage, i add another dot on my dark spots. It has a satin finish, not too shiny, not too matte, so it looks natural. On days when i don't want to do a full face, i just dot this under my eyes and on my dark spots and blend. It has good lasting power and never looks cakey or cracked, and it doesn't look slick or greasy.I use Light Buff, which is a tad darker than my Lancome foundation. But it blends well, so it's not noticeable, and that's way better than having owl eyes - with big circles of concealer that's way too light. The only drawback I notice is the very limited color range. There are colors for fair to medium skin, but none for pale or for deeper skin tones. « less

Great, Lasting Coverage, but Creases & Aged Me Terribly!!!

Before applying makeup, I always wash and exfoliate my face & then follow w/ my moisturizer. Then, *IF* I anticipate sweating or having to pull an all-day/night stint in my makeup, I use primers (Stila's One Step Correct Triple Swirl Helix Face Primer & Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer). Otherwise, I go w/o primers altogether, bc they're pretty unnecessary for my "normal" skin type. I always apply my conc. 1st & use a concealer brush (my fav. so far is IT Cosm. Velvet Luxe Brush #310) Then I set it w. a powder before I continue applying the rest of my makeup. My concealer needs to actually CONCEAL things (red spots/blemishes; my blue-green under-eye circles; and the fine lines around my eyes). I also expect it to stay put for at least 6-8 hours with a primer.I purchased this in "Ivoire" (a neutral tone) to replace UD's Naked in "Fair, Neutral" bc UD wasn't really meeting my expectations anymore. I've tested this prod with & without a primer now, and can say that I'll unfortunately have to return/exchange this product for something else. It just didn't work for me- the cons WAY outweigh the pros. The cons/neutral aspects: it sets VERY fast, so blend quickly and apply to one area at a time; it clung to dry skin flakes that I didn't even know I HAD (I had to exfoliate my EYELIDS to minimize this problem, and it still didn't fix it completely); & it crusted in the creases of my nostrils. The worst part? It settles very nicely at first (yay!), but actually AGES you by the end of the day by amplifying existing fine lines and even creating NEW ones (so try NOT to be silly w your niece & make a scrunched funny face in a selfie. Seriously, it's bad. If my CELL camera picked it up, I'm DREADING the professional wedding photos). The only pros I can offer this product are the coverage (which was EXCELLENT and light-weight at the same time), and how long-lasting it is, even WITHOUT a primer. It has some serious staying power even in oily spots and while sweating!!! « less

Best concealer ever!!

This is the best concealer I have ever come across!!! I have been struggling with breakouts (acne and blackheads) for years, and I have been searching for a concealer that has a heavy-like coverage that doesn't cause my face to breakout. This is it. The holy grail. The creamy-like consistency of this concealer is like lotion, but it goes on so evenly and smoothly. It doesn't clump, crease, or wear off. It lasts all day, even in the summer when you sweat a little on really hot days. Best of all, no breakouts!!!!!! FINALLY! This concealer also blends very well, and has layerable coverage.I find the packaging the perfect size, as I can just toss it in my purse and go because it is so compact. But don't be fooled by the size, it lasts for months!! I use this daily on under eye, and the now occasional pimple. The wand does get concealer on it, however I use a concealer brush to blend in the makeup, and the wand that comes with the concealer itself to apply and dab here and there.Although this concealer is a bit pricey, it is more than worth the price tag! The available shades are easily blendable and smooths in with your skin tone.Just an overall absolutely wonderful product!!!!! Will buy again, and again, and again... ;) « less

Can someone recommend something for my dark under eyes? I am very pale and I don’t get a lot of sleep and I stress a lot being a full time employee, medical school student, and own my own business on top of my other job. I really want something to help remove them NOT JUST COVER IT UP Something I can use daily and even if I’m not wearing makeup it looks better than it does now. I have considered those ice eye makes you wear to bed, do those work?

I'm on the same boat.. in school, no sleep, very pale person. My under eye circles get pretty blue and purple but the best under eye concealer for me is the Lancôme Maquicomplet...I dab it on and then press in with my fingers! It's a miracle fr! Other than getting more sleep, I haven't found a way to reduce them. The only thing close that I have found is self tanning my face and it really does make them very unnoticeable

I’ve been using this Lancôme concealer to spot conceal for over a year now and it’s great! It’ll put a bit of a dent in your wallet, but it’s definitely worth it!
