I'm a Mum and I'm busy and scatty and I don't really bother with foundation apart from on special occasions. I have combination/oily skin with spots sometimes (especially in the summer) and I'm 50 this year, so I have some redness and broken capillaries on my chin and cheeks and around my nose, along with some hyperpigmentation around the edges of my face. (Writing it down makes me think I really ought to wear a full face of full cover foundation every day!)Anyway, I'm too busy and lazy to bother putting a full face on every day; usually I get by with brushing my hair and putting on some mascara. But this was like using moisturiser, so it's easy. It feels very odd at first because it's a mousse that comes out of a tube, so the texture feels a bit dry or pasty, but it has lots of silicone in it so it slips across the skin easily and blends out smoothly. It has adaptable technology, so as you start to rub it in, there is a darker and more tanned moment as the pigment releases, but it blends in well and gives a nice even light coverage. I have Light/Medium and it's great on my yellow-toned pale skin, even now in midwinter. The finish is lovely and velvety without being chalkily matte, and I can still see my freckles through the coverage but my redness is taken right down. I love the effect it gives me - I look like myself but better. « less
I tried it but returned it because I felt like it did not absorb into the skin and just sat on the surface, making my face feel/look shiny. Coverage isn’t all that great either. I prefer the la roche posay bb cream instead. I think it’s 10x better and a little goes a long way!
