does not have fallout

i've come to accept fallout from abh, but this actually has been my go to palette for quite some time, love this one more than modern renaissance, and soft glam

- Sephora User

it's formula is super buttery (yes, there is a bit of fallout, but it's pressed pigments and very rich formula)

blends well

these shades are versatile, buildable, easy to blend and offers a variety of day or night looks

the pigmentation is incredible, the mattes are super pigmented and blendable

not creasing

the shimmers are smooth, the colors are unique and highly pigmented, and i really didn't experience an abnormal amount of fall out after i used both "soul" and "love" in my crease

- Ulta User

ps, for a nice blend make sure you use enough eyeshadow on your brush for your crease

- Sephora User

the shimmers are somewhat sheer/buildable and look stunning on top of one of the matte’s

- Sephora User

however, a trick i've learned is to keep translucent setting powder under your eyes while doing eyes and it swipes away perfectly

First non-neutral palette and fav that I own

Before this palette, I only owned the naked2 basics. This was my first palette with pops of color, and after branching out to some other palettes, this one is definitely one of my top faves. So easy to blend, the perfect amount of transition shades/nudes, pops of color, and shimmers. You can create so many looks with this color combination. Light shades for daytime/soft looks and darker shades to deepen it up and go for a more dramatic look. You can create a quick and easy look with a color in the crease and a shimmer on the lid. Some of my personal favorites are putting "love" the pink shade in the crease and using "summer" the gold in the crease, soul in the crease and base, dreamer, or a nude from another palette with some shimmer on the lid, and a brown nude in the crease and the purple or pink shimmer on the lid. Adding the darker colors "drama" or "passion" to the outer corner can add some depth and deepen the look. I also love using "rose gold" or "dazzling" on the lid with a more orange color in the crease, either from my other palettes or "eccentric" from this palette. I love using dreamer in my inner corner; it's super pigmented. These are probably my favorite shimmers in any palette I own. Applying them with your finger gives amazing color payoff. There is some kickback/fallout as is to be expected with ABH shadows, but they're so pigmented that you need a light hand and I don't find the kickback to be super bad. Highly recommend if you're considering or are into the color scheme Less

Everything I Hoped It Would Be

I know a lot of people reviewing actually have experience with ABH products, but I'm completely new to the brand due to how unaffordable it is. I will say that the second Norvina was rolled out, I knew it was something I planned to buy. I watched tons of reviews, so I was prepared for kickback, etc. Honestly, this palette is amazing. The shimmers are smooth, the colors are unique and highly pigmented, and I really didn't experience an abnormal amount of fall out after I used both "Soul" and "Love" in my crease. I think it was a little too pricey for the amount, but it is something I will be using a lot during the Fall. I definitely think this is a splurge product and not a necessity, but it's definitely something worth purchasing and experimenting with. I've seen a ton of beautiful glam looks created with this palette on Instagram. Less

I got this palette expecting top notch quality based off of the rave reviews. Yes, the shadows are very smooth and buttery to the touch, but when you dip a brush in, the shadow gets everywhere, and the fall out is the worst I've experienced with any brand of eyeshadow I've ever owned. I tried the ABH Sultry pallete too thinking maybe that would be different and that one was even worse. I have drugstore eyeshadow that performs better than this. The glitters/shimmers are atrocious no matter how they are applied. They spread all over my lid and fall on my cheeks no matter how careful I am. I will never purchase another ABH pallete. They're overrated and not worth the hassle.

Almost Didn't Buy...

It took about a month for me to take the plunge and buy this palette after some of the complaints I heard. I'm really glad I didn't listen to the naysayers in the end. This palette is GORGEOUS, the shades are smooth and blend like a dream. They are so pigmented that I barely have to tap my brush into the pans to get enough color to work with. The shimmers do apply better with a finger, but I find that's pretty much true of every brand of shimmer. But when applied this way, the color payoff and foiled shine is unbelievable! Yes, you do need to be careful not to press your brush into the pan so hard, and yes, there is a little fallout on application. But consider this... you want the shadows to blend easily on your eye, but you expect that to happen without any fallout? Bit unrealistic. Less

Honest review +tips!

This palette very pigmented and creamy to blend. For being a big makeup person, I love all the colors. Some may criticize that they only use very few colors from it but I feel like it just depends on a few things. For example, what kind of look your going for, a soft look or a dramatic look. Also, choosing what colors to use for they look you want to present to match your outfit of the day. I feel like each ABH palette has its personality to it, which makes us amazing! PS, for a nice blend make sure you use enough eyeshadow on your brush for your crease. Make sure to use excess or a light amount of eyeshadow to blend out your crease. Always make sure you use a concealer or a eyeshadow primer for the lid! Just a tip for they best results!
