What’s the best under eye treatment? I’ve used a eye roller from botanicals and I couldn’t tell if it worked so I stopped. Now I use concealer which usually covers up the dark circles but not the puffiness/bags. Looking for something drugstore
The CeraVe eye cream I love because of how gentle it is and I can tell when I stop using it. The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer is really good too, full coverage with good anti-dark circles built into the formula
Is there any serum that doesn’t make your skin overly moisturized? Every time I use serum in my skin routine I break out in my problematic areas (T-zone & chin) I’m convinced I don’t need serum because it causes problems rather than help me have clear skin ! I also would only prefer cruelty free products The product attached is the serum I have been using in my skin routine ! I’ve also tried one from the brand botanicals but it also broke my face out #toomuchmoisture ?
First I’d recommend using a liquid exfoliator after cleansing, and before you apply any serums. This will help control any oil left on the surface of the skin, and help sweep away any dead skin cells that your cleanser didn’t exfoliate off. A good one would be the Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. (They sell a travel size for just $10 to try) Then find a serum that contains ingredients that are good for oily/combination skin types. Personally, I really like the Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+, which contains oils that are well tolerated by even oily and acne prone skin types. It is a little on the price-y side, but it lasts forever so it’s a good investment, and i notice amazing results with my skins texture, tone, brightness, and hydration. I like to use it 4 times a week, (usually once daily) after the liquid exfoliator and before a lightweight moisturizer
If you want a less harsh toner, give this a try! I love it!
@ArtbyBrookeL Just realized this has alcohol in it. Try to look for an alcohol free toner, your face will thank you in the long run
@Ashley Walter thank you for the recommendation!! I’ll def look into it :)
