Best blush I've ever used!!!

This is freaking amazing blush, super pigmented, very flattering, and somehow can look dramatic and natural depending on the shade you choose and how you blend it.They looked good on my olive skin tone, my sister's fair w/golden undertones skin tone, and my mother's fair w/pink undertones skin tone.DON'T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!Almost every review that was 3 or less stars was because of the packaging or the fact that they already owned most of the blushes and that the palette wasn't all new blushes. The packaging IS cardboard (Very thick and stable though) but it doesn't look cheap. Also for the size/price of the blush, it's a very minor "con." As far as the people who have already bought all the duos, this is not for you since you're only getting two new colors.

I first fell in love with Jouer blush duos a couple of months ago, so when I saw that they were coming out with this Rose Gold blush, I knew I had to immediately scoop it up. I am so happy that Sephora is finely selling Jouer, they have some truly amazing products and their blushes are definitely a hidden gem that are not talked about enough. With these blush duos, you get a matte blush on one side and a shimmer on the other, you can use them separately or pair them together. The "matte" side doesn't actually look like a flat matte in the pan, it does have a bit of a sheen to it but once in the skin it really does mostly look matte. What I do is apply the matte blush first and then top it off with the shimmer side. These blushes are both extremely buttery and soft and they are pigmented, but not too pigmented and they blend in like a dream. This color in particular would work on so many different skin tones, I really think that the shimmer side would look stunning on deeper skin tones especially. The simplistic packaging of these duos are so stunning and they are super sleek so they are easy to travel with. The price point on these are great considering you are getting two blushes in the compact. I can not say enough good thing about these blushes and I think I can confidently say that Jouer blushes are some of the best and my most favorite that I have ever used to date. Less

I tried

I bought "Sheer Nude" and have to say that it's very dusty and not pigmented. Also, while the deeper shade is okay, the lighter "Tou Tou" shade that makes up 50% of the compact is so completely yellow. It makes me look sallow, like my cheeks have an unappealing wash of matte gold/apricot stamped on top. Weirdly enough, it's especially evident how unnatural it looks in dim lighting. Are you supposed to mix the shades? Use as a highlighter? Either way, it's a really unflattering look. It's a shame that almost all the other blush duos have this exact same yellow pan of color in the compact. I might be tempted to try another duo, but I won't because it just annoys me that they've lazily decided to add this horrific shade to nearly all the blushes. One star for cool packaging. Pass.

Great Price Point and Great Product

I just received mine today and began playing with it. It is smooth, easy to blend and pigmented but not overly pigmented where it is hard to work with. It does have a slight scent but it is a soft scent that is almost floral but very very light and dissipates shortly after applying it. The picture makes this look very dark but in fact, in person these are very wearable and not super dark or anything crazy like that. These are very good quality and I can't wait to play with all the shades because honestly I can wear all of these shades with ease which is rare for me. usually I can only wear a few shades out of a blush palette but I will have no problem wearing all of these. This is also very reasonably priced considering that the regular duo blushes this company sells are 30$, you're getting 6 for 40+ , not bad in my opinion. All in all a great buy and a great product. I highly recommend. Less

Six Blush Shades for a Change

This is my favorite blush palette and I own more palettes, duos and single blushes than I can count. The thing I appreciate the most is that it actually gives me a variety of blush color options instead of the usual palette of one peach and one pink and the rest sculpting and high lighting pans. I have sculpting palettes galore and if I want to sculpt my face I will reach for one of those palettes. For once I am happy to open the palette and find a number of choices of blush colors with each one being as pretty as the next. The bright peach color "Treasure Me" blends wells with the pinks and isn't as aggressively bright as it appears in the palette. Even on my fair skin it is beautiful, and I know it would be even more flattering on darker skin. I love the cooler toned down red brick "Seduce Me" which is a nice departure from all the usual pinks and peaches. It isn't as natural a blush color as the pink/peach combos but it gives a very pretty snow white effect on my pale skin. All the colors work well together especially the pinks and peaches. I don't find it under or over pigmented. It blends out seamlessly like a dream. The pink and gold packaging is absolutely gorgeous. The photos on the site fail to do it justice. The pans are large, while the packaging is slim and light making it a good value and easy to use for travel. The only issue I have with it is that I don't want to use any of my other blush palettes and only want to reach for this one. Less
