I currently use this product by Smashbox. It’s very light weight. I got it because I didn’t want to add any “heavy ness” to my makeup routine. I also have combo skin so in the spots I will get acne it never caused any breakouts after using it or upped my production of acne either. I have sensitive skin so it didn’t cause any irritation. It dries quickly. Not greasy.

Using an aha/bha body wash and lotion will gently exfoliate your skin but also help with breakouts and any potential hyperpigmentation. Alpha and glytone have great options.

Hey ladies, I was wondering if any of you could help a girl out. My skin has been so dry since the weather has been getting colder. It’s usually pretty normal except for my oily t-zone. I was wondering what products you could recommended to get radiant, glowy looking skin. Any tips or tricks are also welcome. Thanks 😊

Use this for your serum. It’s going to penetrate deeper than your moisturizer because it’s a serum. W/ this weather you definitely have to take extra steps for moisture. Put this on before your moisturizer. If you’re still dry. Try moisture masks. Neutrgeana has a gel mask that I use all the time for a extra boost. I work for Benefit Cosmetics and they just came out with a new Moisturizing primer with Hyaluronic Acid as well and it’s amazing. Hope this helps.

@Cierra Graham the ordinary, yes! I would recommend it as well. I do find it a bit tacky when I apply it directly to my skin, so I mix a drop or two into my moisturizer and apply it that way and I love it!

Any advice for a dry-er girl who loves Matte-r foundations? My L’Oreal Infallible is one of my faves but dries me out cause of the more matte finish.

You can try and use a very moisturizing lotion like the Clinique and make sure it’s the lotion and not the gel. On top of that also use a moisturizing primer, I personally use too face hangover primer.

exfoliating scrubs and the biore pore strips! I use these with my regular facial cleanser and it helps too, i try not to be too rough tho!

@Ruby Corona physical exfoliation actually irritates acne and can exacerbate it. Chemical exfoliation on the other hand (like AHA and BHA— glycolic acid/lactic acid and salicylic acid, respectively) can help immensely with minimizing breakouts of whiteheads and blackheads. AHAs can help “unstick” dead skin to prevent pores from clogging while BHA helps actually clear the pores out. Scrubby pads like these are extremely abrasive and also unhygienic for those who get inflamed acne, and can actually worsen breakouts by spreading bacteria from one part of the skin to another.

hey guys, so i’m a 13 y/o girl with pretty sensitive skin and i’m looking for a concealer that i can wear all by its self (for quick application in the morning before school). It should cover my (mild) acne and dark circles under my eyes and it’ll stay on all day at school(even after PE class)! any of you guys have any ideas? i’ve tried everything and i don’t wanna keep spending money on stuff that doesn’t work! especially overpriced things! (id say anything over $40 would be too much for me).

Ya girl over here needs help with my eyeshadow I don’t usually wear eyeshadow because I live in Arizona and summertime kills my makeup especially my eyes. Cause I tend to sweat underneath or sometimes around my eyes 👀. And I also think I have a type of eyelid that causes my eyeshadow to not be able to be see as great as normal eyelids. I think it’s called hooded eyelids and thank fully if I can still find them I found some videos that show how to get ur eyes to look better. But I don’t know where to start. First and foremost I don’t have money for anything expensive but could possibly splurge on a good item. If needed. I have green eyes 👀 that change colors sometimes and i dont know what shades would make my eyes look really nice and pop. And not sure with brushes or eyeshadow primers if that’s even what you call em haha 😂 ladies please feel free to give me any advice on eyeshadow or makeup in general cause I still would consider myself to be a newbie to the makeup world. I’m in desperate need of some help with this lol and I’ll only be able for the most part to buy products offline so give me any good tip y’all have I’d greatly appreciate it thanks so much 🔎🔎🆘💃🏼✨💁🏼‍♀️💅🏻🍀💄🙏🏼🤞🏼👗👠👜🕶🐛🦋🎯

Hi there! Warm browns look great with green eyes. A very affordable brown palette would be from Morphe and you can find those at the store Ulta. There’s almost ALWAYS coupons for Ulta going around so I recommend printing some out or just showing it on you phone (with scan bar) since you can only go in store. Good but affordable brushes that I love are from JessUp but those are online only. Another cheaper alternative are wet n wild and those you can find in drug stores! When holding brushes always hold then from the end and never close to the bristles. For eyeshadow I don’t use eyeshadow primer (I have hooded lids, too) I use a lighter concealer which also saves money by multipurposing your products. I apply a thin layer and don’t set it then start shadow from the darkest color to the lightest. Since you are a beginner I’d recommend setting the concealer with a light beige shadow then start with the lightest color first, it’ll be easier for you to get a smoother blend. Cut creases always are the best for hooded eyes, but since you’re a beginner I would hold off until you’ve had practice. (watch videos specifically for cutting the crease with hooded eyes!!) If you have any more questions, I’d love to answer them!
