I use it topically, to soothe inflammation after laser hair removal, and also to mix with a bit of water and uncoated aspirin to make aspirin masks for acne treatment. It definitely seems to calm and soften my skin. userJanuary 24, 2010

Nice and soothing!!

I have seborrheic dermatitis on scalp and face. I use a little bit of the aloe vera gel and open 3 capsules of neem leaves, stir and then apply to my scalp. Leave it on for at least an hour and then shampoo. This relieves the symptoms of SD so well. Once a week I also mix 1/2 teaspoon of fuller's earth clay, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel and 1 capsule of neem, stir and use as a face mask. I leave it on my face until it's dry, then wash off. Face is nice and brighter (fades blemishes) and helps control SD symptoms. No irritations. This aloe vera gel is so inexpensive. I highly recommend giving it a try. :) userSeptember 13, 2013

I've used other brands of concentrate for many years and love the stuff. Unfortunately, this tasted like the plastic it was packaged in. Bad flavor, bad smell, it totally tasted like pesticides smell. I threw it in the garbage, it was absolutely unusable. Unfortunately, I ruined a focal point of my meal as I did not taste it prior to using it. My leg of lamb went in the trash along with it. Don't buy this brand. If I could have given zero stars, I would have.

Great for everything!

We use as gel for hair(wavy-curly hair then add alba lotion and for short thick short boy hair). It works great very light and no bad smell. Also mix with tea tree oil, peppermint, eucalyptus oil for relieving sunburns and it works! also use same mixture for razor bumps and heat rash bumps and it does work even for around bikini area.(3tbsp to 6-8 drops total of mixture of oils) Also use it plain as face as moisturizer and lotion does a great job feel clean and light and helps keep down bumps and pimples. LOVE IT and it's so cheap compared to shelf stable ones that have other junk i dont want on my skin so it's very worth it to refrigerate it. I have left out about 1/4 cup over nigh with oil in it and still worked and smelt fine(maybe oils perserved it) also take out before shower and works fine. Less userOctober 30, 2017

My second time buying this and I LOVE it so much. It hydrates the skin and most importantly it removes my dark spots like acne scaring.
