color accuracy

doesn't oxidize

also, after it oxidizes it looks very silky and helps the foundation look skin like

- Ulta User

ladies, it is a finishing product, not meant to change colors of anything you already have on your face, only gives you a more finished look

- Qvc User

i love how smooth this makes my skin look

- Ulta User

this amazing product makes my skin smooth and fills in pores without caking and no breakouts

pore minimizing

pore minimizing

i just wish i had all this good stuff when i was a teenager, we are so lucky today to have jamie and all of her knowledge today and you won't believe the difference if you have big ole pores like me, that this bye, bye pores makes i've watch all of the presentations jamie has w/each her products and she knows and loves what she is doing, and i've been using all of it products and in all just a little goes a long way and now it is the first make-up line i've used everything that we women need and use, and i know now you get what you pay for

- Qvc User

this definitely blurs my pores

- Ulta User

under eye

good for under eye

love this best under eye setting powder i've ever used so silky

- Ulta User

sometimes i just use it under my eyes (it does not settle into the fine lines), and when i use it over a cream or liquid foundation or over the it cc cream, it gives my complexion an airbrushed finish that is so flattering and not dry-looking since it does not contain talc

staying power

i love how light it is and how i just need to apply it once and my face stays shine free the whole day

- Ulta User

it literally makes my skin and makeup look flawless and it stays looking that way all day

- Qvc User

i love how lightweight it is

- Ulta User

i love this product because it feels so nice on my skin, it is lightweight and gives my skin a polished, finished look

- Ulta User

blends well

this blends amazingly and best of all: it does not give a white-cast

- Ulta User

i'm a medium tan, with olive undertones, and it blends well into my skin, and it feels very light

- Ulta User

no flashback

love this powder because it illuminates shine and helps my pores but the difference between this powder and other powders similar to this one is the natural looking finish it gives, you look airbrushed but it doesn't give a white cast and look weird after a few hours

- Ulta User

it's suoer silky feeling doesn't settle into your creases no flash back and makes my makeup last forever

- Ulta User

non brightening

this powder did nothing but make my face look ashy

- Qvc User

terrible for dry skin as it is quite drying and it makes my face look very dull

- Sephora User

this is my go-to when i have excess shine throughout the day, which keeps my makeup looking fresh and natural

- Ulta User

the look is natural, and my face feels like silk

Hit or miss, only works with a brush

I bought this for full price hearing great things. I was disappointed. My maybelline fit me powder works better then this powder. I have combination skin and I never suffer from dry skin: in fact I have very oily skin. I used this for the first time with the puff provided and it looked caked on and revealed dry patches that I didn't know I had. My aunt commented that it looked very caked on. I noticed a difference when I used the benefit porefessional primer: it had a better finish and wasn't as cakey when also applied with a brush that I later had to buy to give it a better shot. I would pass on this powder in all honesty. Poor results, maybellines fit me powder is way better, lasts, and works well with the puff provided.

Repurchasing to have a backup!

I am SO in love with this powder. I have fair combination (leans more towards dry) skin. I have been struggling with my foundation separating on my nose for about two months now. I've tried matte foundations, hydrating foundations, both types of primers, about five different setting powders... No luck. I tried this recently and I am head over heels for it. On some of the reviews, I noticed complaints about unnatural appearance and having a whitecast. I will point out that I don't think this is appropriate for anyone past medium light tone, and it DOES cause a whitecast BUT ONLY IN FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY. otherwise, this is a dream. My favorite way to apply (full coverage kind of girl - not for you if you like minimal) is to use the sponge provided to "beat the powder" into my face after foundation application to set. Yes, you will look idiotic after you've smacked this in with the sponge. It will spear crazy white and patchy and almost kind of scaly - DON'T FREAK OUT! I take this time to do my eyes, and when I finish them, I take a flat top face brush and buff out the powder. The finish is absolutely stunning. Now my skin is ready for seamless, smooth application of bronzer/contour/blush/highlight.If you own this product and are struggling with it - try this method before giving up! « less

This is truely amazing!

As I've aged I've noticed that no matter what primer, foundation, concealer or powder I used you could see my pores. In fact makeup exaggerated their appearance. Ugh! I can't go without makeup as I have uneven coloration. What to do? Then I started reading about HD type powders that help with these issues without creating a heavy mask like appearance. Enter IT Bye Bye pores. It's as though my face was airbrushed, literally! Just a few tips - I first apply a very very small amount of my favorite foundation to those areas that need special coverage and I blend it in really well. Then I apply a very light sweep of the Bye Bye Pores. At this point, even though I am very pale, my face looks a bit "ghostly". Then i go over my face with a light sweep of a makeup brush using my regular colored face powder and the result is flawless! A light touch is the key. The look stays intact all day (at least 12+ hours) with no shine. I apply my eye makeup and blush after this with no problems. As to the complaints of the pressed powder arriving broken, I can only say that mine arrived well packed with bubble wrap and intact and it has not crumbled at all after several weeks of use. « less

Miracle in a Compact

For a while now I have been wanting a "setting powder" and I wasn't sure about whether to go with loose or pressed let alone which brand to go with. The gals at Ulta showed me a few options and I went with Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder by It Cosmetics. I really did not have a game plan of how I wanted to use this nor what step in my makeup application I would apply this product. I first applied my tinted BB Cream as I normally would and then with the flat part of my beauty sponge, I pressed it into the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder and dabbed it under my eyes, on my nose and forehead (T-Zone area). I let it set while I continued to apply my eye make up. Once the eyes were done I proceeded with my mineral powdered foundation and any excess pressed powder easily blended with my mineral foundation powder. The pressed powder left my T-Zone area looking and feeling amazing and it lasted ALL day!!! I know some people may argue when you should apply the pressed powder in your makeup routine but I felt like I needed to apply it right after my tinted BB cream to set that type of product (liquid product) and being that my foundation was mineral powder, I figured everything would blend well and it did. I am so very pleased with this product and I feel it would last me a while. This product does come with its own flat round sponge applicator but I like using the beauty sponge I already have. I am so happy that I have now added this product (this step) into my makeup routine

EXCELLENT shine control, makes skin TOO flawless

This pressed powder has been a lifesaver. I had been using Laura Mercier's translucent finishing powder, which was great during cooler weather months, but since the weather's gotten warmer has left me with more shine than I would prefer. I switched to this and it has made all the difference. It is lightweight and finely milled for a totally natural look, and a little goes a long way - I am amazed at how well a light dusting controls shine (I use a big fluffy powder brush to apply this). It should last a long time. I don't have enlarged pores, but this DOES make my skin look very smooth and even - almost TOO smooth, if you could even imagine, and kind of artificial. Like sort of waxy/plastic-y. So I'm probably going to use this to set my foundation, and dust my regular Laura Mercier powder over it, bc the LM gives a more soft, natural texture to the skin IMO. I can see this being a great powder for aging, oily skin bc of how it is so smooth and fine without being cake-y or settling into pores/lines. Definitely check this powder out if you're looking for a way to control shine during the summer months, or need a finishing powder that smooths your complexion and won't enhance flaws.

How do you not make your foundation look cakey? Is it my skin? My foundation, powder, concealer? If it’s anything please let me know what products are best... HELP!

The trick is to apply a little of a thick foundation and concealer. Don’t apply too much. Then dust a light layer of powder under the eyes and all over the face. Less is more when it comes to not looking cakey. I would recommend using a dewy foundation with a finely pressed powder to lightly put over the foundation. My all time fave is the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Finishing Powder by IT!
