Hi lovelies, I’m looking for a new setting powder I have very sensitive skin that is dry except for my chin and nose which get really oily. I’m just looking for something that sets me all day without creasing but isn’t to dry! I’m debating between the Laura Mercier Powder, the Fenty Lavender Powder, or the Hourglass Veil Powder but any recommendations are appreciated 😊 #settingpowder #recommendations #combinationskin #Fenty #LauraMercier #Hourglass

I recommend the elf dewy setting mist spray! And for dry areas you really don’t want to “set”or “bake” because it will only dry you out more. But for oily areas I would set :) most of my face is dry and the only oily spot is my nose. I use to set in dry areas but it made my face caked and dry :/ I only swipe a little of powder to touch it up and keep it in place ;) hope this helps :) also the elf smells just like coconut 🥥

Just wondering what setting powders my dry skin ladies are using. I actually have only found one that works with my skin and that’s the hourglass veil powder. It’s just super expensive which if it works I gotta do what I gotta do but I’d like other recommendations just in case!

Us dry skin girls should stick to pressed setting powders the loose powders are usually better for oily skin. As for a loose powder that works with dry skin I say the Becca hydra mist set and refresh powder is really hydrating and unique but only if the shade works for you

Does anyone own the Hourglass veil loose powder if so would it work for dry skin and do you like it?
I have very dry under eyes and I use the powder very often. More so in the winter bc that’s when my skin is driest. It has a natural finish and isn’t drying like the Laura Mercier can be. They sell a mini, so I recommend buying that to test the waters, especially if you’re like me and don’t use a lot of powder.
