lightweight

i love how lightweight it is

- Glossier User

not only does it cut the shine, but it also provides just a little more coverage to achieve the night-out look without having to use a cakey foundation

- Glossier User

blendability

blends well

this powder is so light and it blends in to my skin perfectly

- Glossier User

it's the only powder i have tried that keeps my skin matte for the entire day without clinging to dry patches, creasing, sinking into fine lines, or dulling skin

- Glossier User

no flashback

i was using a powder that was giving me awful flashback but i loved it because it kept my skin matte all day

pore minimizing

pore minimizing

wowder does exactly what it says it will do: locks your makeup in, gives a nice "soft focus" look to your pores, stays matte, and most importantly for me: stays put and does not collect or clump

- Glossier User

i'm officially poreless

- Glossier User

staying power

longlasting

it stays put all day, and i can barely feel it

- Glossier User

stays on for a few hours and looks amazing

- Glossier User

under eye

not good for under eye

i also considered that glossier says it's a forgiving powder, and it is, but dark/deep was still too dark for me, especially under the eyes

- Glossier User

i'm also still experiencing creasing under my eyes

- Glossier User

finish

natural

i get compliments all the time how my makeup looks "flawless" and natural

- Glossier User

i use it to set my makeup in the morning and it takes the shine away but still looks natural

high coverage

love how this powder is so light yet provides full coverage all day

- Glossier User

here's the deal, if you're a full coverage queen who wants to see a lot of pigment on your face, this isn't for you

Good powder, horrible shade range

I was so excited when Glossier launched this product because they usually have products for people with dry skin, but now they had something for oily skinned people! The powder itself is wonderful, it's so finely milled and feels soft to the touch. But I'm honestly disappointed in the shade range. 3 is NOT enough. Light is light and medium is medium; you can't combine the shades and call it a day. I purchased light/ medium and it was too light for me, but the next shade up would have been too dark. Although this powder is wonderful and does not deposit too much color, it's enough that I cannot work with the shades. I would have to mix the shades in order to pull it off. I'm around a C3 in MAC for reference and while light/ medium is okay to work around, it's definitely not an ideal shade to where I would repurchase this product.

(no) cake cake cake

As an oily lady, I was absolutely stoked to see Glossier come out with a powder for those of us who have a lil extra.. natural dew. Still, looking creasy and powdered down is, really baby, not my bag. This sets my shiz enough to blend my powder blush, bronzer, highlight, etc. without creating weird texture over any cream products I'm wearing or sinking into my undereye creases or smile lines. Looks like it was never there, but still prevents transfer of foundation. I'm sold. Can't you tell? I took the time to write this review, didn't I?

Use this every day

I love this product! It's the only powder I have tried that keeps my skin matte for the entire day without clinging to dry patches, creasing, sinking into fine lines, or dulling skin. I have very oily skin and live in a warm climate, but this stays on!

The best powder I've tried

Wowder is my first and so far only Glossier product and I am so obssessed. I have DRY sensitive eczema skin. Usually, powders create noticible dry patches across my face, but no powder = my makeup is gone within a few hours. I have no idea how this powder is simultaneously so lightweight and non-irritating while also smoothing my skin, but it is. On an average day now, I only wear concealer and this powder and it gives me very natural, even, non-oily but not cakey finish. Will never use another powder. Also, Glossier has the cutest packaging ever and includes so many extra goodies. I cant wait to try more of their products, just have to save up as it is a step-up from my usual drug-store pricing.

Incredible powder with serious staying power

This powder is the perfect balance between a dewy finish and matte skin. In order to have the dewy skin I love, I used to use an illuminating daily setting powder that didn't soak up excess oil. I would look fine in the morning but be greasy and shiny by mid-day. Wowder solved all of these problems. This powder soaked up all my oil throughout the day while still giving me a nice dewy finish. It never cakes or creases. It's also very light and doesn't make your face feel heavy or covered in makeup. This is the perfect everyday powder that sets my makeup and covers my blemishes.

whats the best affordable setting/baking powder for dry skin? i always have a problem with mattifying my face because the powder tends to break on my skin and look grainy. also sinks into my smile line and crease under my eyes.

I have been using Wowder ... I would say it is fine if you use a really dewy base and simply dust all over. I don’t bake because of my super dry skin and this seems good.

Can anyone recommend a good powder for dry fair skin, preferably under $20 or so please? I’ve tried Coty Airspun and Maybelline Fit Me and neither work for me at all, and I’m currently using this Too Faced powder and I like it ok but I would much rather find a cheaper option if possible.

Hmm..not exactly under $20 but I’ve found this is the best powder for dry skin, very thin, doesn’t over dry me and never makes me look cakey For “every day” I only dust a bit of it on my T-zone and a bit under my eyes to set the concealer (don’t get too close to the lashes where fine lines mostly are) Other times that I’ve tried other powders and they’ve been to drying or a bit cakey and don’t want to start my makeup all over again I spritz some of the Heritage Rosewater with Glycerin and it re-hydrates everything, softens the products and smoothed the appearance of everything so that’s my key product to quick fix powdery disasters
