Acne-sufferers, hear this!

I have had issues with my skin for the better part of 15 years. I have acne that turns cystic. I have rough patches. I have dried skin. I have inflamed skin. I have oily skin. I have flaky areas. I have large pores and scars from my acne. I know, that's a lot. I say all of that to say this: I had stopped using liquid foundation for several years. Every single one I used dried out my skin to the point where it was so tight and inflamed, or it caked over the imperfections and slid off of the rest of my face. Or, the worst one, it immediately clogged my pores and inflamed my already baby-sensitive skin. After all this, I moved to powder foundations and had been using PF for a long time. I decided to branch out and give this a shot not knowing at all was in for, because this move, a bold one for me, was the best decision I've made as far as makeup goes. I can't believe how little of this product does so much, how it spreads so far with so little used. A little goes the whole way, and I absolutely love that. I love that it's not greasy, it's not heavy, or oily, or cakey. Every single drop is a drop well-used and is the lightest form of complete coverage makeup I have ever used and loved. For as natural as it looks and as well as it blends, this makeup is absolutely, 100% worth the purchase, especially for those who love liquid foundation, but have abnormally sensitive and hard-to-take-care-of skin. (Also, there is a light scent of the products mixed together inside of this magic foundation, but it's not overbearing and is clearly just a scientific after-effect.

Tried and True Staple

Used this product for 2 to 3 years, and stopped because I thought I could find a better-matching product. I've gone through foundations, BB creams, CC creams, powders, etc.... while simultaneously having some of the worst skin issues of my life, including very oily skin with dry patches, excess redness, tons of acne scarring, orange peel texture, etc. Nothing looked good on my skin and to top it all off I was still unable to find a product that blended well with super red pale skin with yellow undertones. In sheer exasperation, I stopped wearing face make up. The other day, when I needed a little something-something because I was going out to dinner, I threw what I had left of my Skin Tint on, in shade Light. At the end of the night, after checking the mirror, I realized that this is and always was the product I've been looking for. My skin looks smoother, my coloring more even and somewhat blurred, my pores less noticeable...AND I DON'T LOOK LIKE I'M OBVIOUSLY WEARING MAKEUP. And yes, the colors still don't match me exactly, but nothing ever has and this tint is the least obvious in that respect. In an ideal world, I'd love to see the Skin Tints revised with perhaps a warm/cool undertone in each shade. But there are other ways to color correct nowadays, and everything else about the tint works SO WELL for me. Girls and guys with sensitive skin that is imperfect in more ways than one, know that I am one of you and this product is my coverup of choice. Give it a try, because it's a long lasting amount of product for the money and because Glossier's customer service and return policy is bananas.

I had seen lots of great reviews about this and as my skin is fairly clear I really wanted something lightweight and sheer that would just provide a subtle tint and even my skin tone a little. I have dry skin so I also wanted something glowy which I had heard this was. I applied this onto moisturised skin with my fingers as it suggests, for about the first hour it looked great - very subtle exactly what I wanted. After a couple of hours this had balled up around my temples so badly and had really sunk into dry patches I didn't even know I had! It settled in smile lines which I don't even get from most foundations and had gone weirdly patchy. Genuinely the worst base product I have tried for a long time. Not wanting to give up on this I tried it out another 5 times using different moisturisers, no moisturiser, a few primers and tried applying with a brush. Each time I got the exact same result and looked so awful. I'm 26 but this made me look 46 which considering I didn't even apply much product I can't understand how.

Let me start by saying this is the first and only time I have ever actually left a review for any product. This product is too amazing not to share. I have very sensitive/oily skin and am prone to hormonal and stress related acne. I have to be extremely careful with products I use because almost EVERYTHING will cause me to break out or have red/itchy patches on my face. I love makeup but have always aimed for the "I'm not wearing makeup" look especially on my skin so I have always hated foundation because I've never found one that looks natural. I experienced a horrible hormonal acne flare up after stopping birth control 2 years ago and it seems like I haven't been able to get my skin completely under control since. I used to try and "cover" it, but that just seemed to hilight the issue rather than conceal it. I originally ordered this skin tint because I was looking for a tinited moisturizer without SPF (because surprise, surprise- it breaks me out too) that I could use to smooth out the appearance of my skin without having to use another product. I was skeptical to try this since so many others have failed, but this is THE BEST cosmetic purchase I have ever made. My skin looks amazing after I apply this. I wear this product alone and apply concealer if I must on any big blemish. It appears smooth and even, hides any redness I may have, does not cause me to break out, and best of all- you can't tell I have any makeup on at all! It also stays on my skin unless I sweat a lot, but it's very easy and doesn't cake if I need to touch it up. If you're looking for something to cover up you're skin, this isn't for you. But if you're looking for dewy, smooth skin that looks makeup free, this is what you want. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Why did I wait so long to try this?

I have tried almost everything from the line. From makeup to skincare I love most of it and whatever I didn't I still liked. The stretch concealer is the only concealer I've used in months. But I was hesitant to buy this because I saw reviews that said it gets oily. As a former oily girl I was nervous, but I've been super dry the last year or so. Makeup normally clings to my dryness & just looks flaky. As soon as I got this I tried it on my hand & it felt like the world's thinest primer. Meaning it felt so smooth, but also so lightweight. I knew I'd like it. Then on my face it was perfect. I'm not one for matte foundation, or even foundation at all. I use a CC cream as my fullest coverage product, so this is ideal for everyday - work, errands, etc. If you're like me and have iffy skin and hate the feeling of makeup so you go without it then look in the mirror at a store & get scared this is perfect for you. It is so lightweight, I forget I'm wearing it. It feels like nothing at all, but it blurs my pores, fades redness, and does NOT cling to any dryness at all. This is also great if you like to have a touch of coverage and maybe brows and head out. So many other products look weird on their own and too mask like. This looks like you're not wearing makeup, rather you skin is just glowing and brighter and more even. It is NOT medium or full coverage by any means, but it is light coverage and semi-buildable (you won't get more than light, but it do a little something). I do still get an oily Tzone, but this doesn't advance that. It lasts looking great with no touch ups for 8+hours on me & I never get that feeling like I need to wash my face right now. It goes perfectly with stretch concealer and cloud paint too. I am obsessed! If any of these things relate to you, you will love this!

Best foundation or tinted moisturizer. I’m in the market for a new one. Doesn’t oxidize. Lasts in humidity well and 80 degree weather. Not heavy. Light to medium coverage for slight redness. I currently use tarts bb cream and it’s nice. Combo skin. Want barely there natural look.

I really love the glossier skin tint, but it is very much a tint, so don’t expect a ton of coverage
