good for acne

i love how it brightens, mattifies, and reduces redness, all while reducing the look of pores and blemishes

- Glossier User

(it's not dense and heavy like other clay iterations, so it feels like a soothing cloud) but this is the only mask i've used that reduces redness and calms any breakouts i have

- Glossier User

pore minimizing

pore minimizing

i wake up the next day and my pimples are smaller, pores have shrunk and my face feels super clean and nice

- Glossier User

i feel like it really extracts all the dirt from my pores and makes me feel really fresh and renewed after

- Glossier User

it's exfoliating and hydrating, my skin looks so glowy and smooth after i use it

- Glossier User

and when you pair it with the moisturizing moon mask after=heaven

- Glossier User

i love how gentle, but effective this mask is

- Glossier User

this is the most gentle yet effective detox mask that i've ever tried

- Glossier User

really helps to clear and smooth my skin, after the first use i saw an improvement in the appearance and pigmentation of my pimples

- Glossier User

it leaves my skin moisturized and smooth, so much so that i really didn't need to follow with moisturizer

- Glossier User

causes flare ups

however after i rinsed it off i found my skin very red and uncomfortable

- Glossier User

it felt fine when it was on but i broke out and turned really red afterwards

- Glossier User

doesn't reduce puffiness

however, i used it again about two weeks later and it left my skin bright red, puffy, and inflamed

- Glossier User

i used this for the recommended amount of time (20 minutes) rinsed it off and my skin was burning, red and puffy

- Glossier User

non brightening

i didn't know, however, that after wiping it off, would be left with a bright red burn on my face

- Glossier User

hot, painful and bright red

I worked for a company that did some promotional work with Glossier spring 2017, so I ended up with a lot of free product. This was one of those. I'm an oily skinned mf-er gifted with both large and small pores. While I am mostly prone to blackheads, I do experience the occasional closed comedome, and (once in a blue moon) a super cute hormonal cyst-ish friend. // The first time I put this goop on, I was alarmed to feel a pretty intense burning sensation, most around my nose and on my cheeks. I do not consider myself to have sensitive skin. I tried a few more times, and the feeling eventually went away with use. Other co-workers who received this product experienced the same or worse. Of the 8 of us who tried this, only two of us did not end up with a horrific red burn and/or massive breakouts (I cannot attest to whether or not the breakouts were purging or reaction related). // So I used this a few times a week. Usually before a morning shower, after nights were I didn't sleep well, forgot to moisturize before bed, or accidentally consumed more alcohol than actual hydrating liquid. It made my skin feel a little softer and maybe a little more awake. And I never understood what the large bits of grit in this stuff was supposed to do? Was this a half-assed attempt at physical exfoliation? // This isn't the worst because I didn't pay for it, but it's nothing special... Outside of being really expensive. Unlike most other Glossier products, it doesn't even have cute packaging to make it feel like you're getting a fancy product for the price. What a shame.

Its worth the splurge

Okay kids gather round. I don't normally write reviews for anything but I have to tell you about this mask. I am a college student, balling on a very tight budget and after hearing raving reviews about glossier I wanted to try something from them. I figured a mask would be a good tiny leap into the brand to see if it would be a good fit for me. I was right. I go from mask to mask, hoping that it will do something for my very sensitive, very acne prone face. I range from oily to dry skin in about .02 seconds. Its very hard to find a mask that 1) does not irritate my skin and 2) actually does what it advertises. Normally I wouldn't pay for a mask this expensive, but on a "treat yo self" day I bought it impulsively. I have had this for months and used it maybe every other week or so and I still have quite a bit left. I have had friends use this mask, my siblings use this mask, I swear it's like Mary Poppins herself created this thing because I haven't hit the bottom. As for the mask itself it makes you feel like the goddess you were born to be. It goes on very soft and drys into a tight mask. My skin always feels like it just got a nice little lift after rinsing. It's so nice. If your skin is just a bit dull, or you need some TLC on your face/your life, this mask does the trick. I don't usually write reviews for anything but I have been converted into a glossier spokesperson around my friends and have since purchased other (great) items and figured I should tell you too. I hope you buy it and enjoy it as much as I do.

Never buying another mask!

I used to LOVE GlamGlow, with such adoration that when I got low I would immediately order it online to reduce the risk of running out. My one complaint about GlamGlow is after I used it my face was Christmas red and felt like the Sahara desert. It also is a stark comparison between GlamGlow for $60-$80 to Glossier's Mega Greens Galaxy Pack for $22. I looked to Glossier's mask hoping it would give me all the good aspects of GlamGlow and maybe even a bit more. I tried this last night for the first time and I am in love. When I first put it on clean skin my initial reaction was how cooling it felt. Around 3 minutes in I began to feel a gentle tingle, which never intensified. Once my timer went off I gently massaged the mask off my face using upward, outward and circular motions. My face was a slight bit flushed but faded within 5 minutes. I felt my skin which normally has small bumps in my problem areas and NOTHING. My skin felt so smooth, clear, and plump. I felt rehydrated and moisturized without feeling oily or slick. I didn't moisturize any further and just went to bed. This morning I woke up and my skin looked so full of life I didn't bother with putting my Wowder on, I simply put on some mascara (lash slick of course) and cherry balm dotcom and left for school. If this mask did this good after just one night use? I can't wait to incorporate it in my routine for years to come! I am so so so pleased with my results! Thanks Glossier!!!!!

Green Juice for Your Pores

I absolutely LOVE this face mask! My skincare regiment is super low key, but I like doing this mask every weekend. (I literally look forward to Fridays after class because that's when I put the mask on lol) It's not going to cure your acne or anything, but it's great for whenever your skin feels kinda dull and gross. It's a clay mask but really gentle and smells really fresh. Once I take it off, my skin feels super smooth and looks brighter and fresher. It doesn't dry out the skin too, which is awesome, but I definitely recommend following it up with the Moon Mask per Glossier's recommendation.

This my favorite mask of all time, no question. Unlike most other face masks I've tried, Mega Greens actually gives me immediate visible results. I use this mask anytime my skin feels red and irritated, or just whenever it needs a little pick-me-up. It feels incredibly soothing to put on, and doesn't give you that tight, dry feeling most other clay masks do. When I wash it off, any redness is gone and my skin just feels good - and any minor acne will be cleared up the next morning, with more severe pimples greatly diminished. I have combo skin that tends toward dryness. Not super sensitive, but I do experience some redness and a few mild pimples every now and then.
