Beautiful blush...

I love this blush quad because the texture of the powder glides on like silk and makes blending super easy. I wear all the shades mixed together and wear Givenchy's "compact face powder" as a highlighter with it. I have very oily skin, but this blush stays on all day without fading into my oily skin. I honestly think it helps to absorb some of the oil. I like for my blush to look very natural and this is the perfect product to do just that.

Lightweight but still creases and cakes?!

Really wanted to love this product after all the good reviews but... Despite its light texture, it is cakey and feels kind of heavy on the skin. It doesn’t last long without setting it with a spray, and if you accidentally apply a little too much your face looks like you dipped it in flour. The packaging makes it harder to apply because you can never dispose a proper amount of it on the cap, either too little or too much comes out. I found myself wasting so much time trying to get the right amount.I like that it’s lightweight, but it highlights every small crease on my face and I need to blend it and go over it with my fingers all through the day. I don’t like when make up is showing too much, I prefer a more natural look, and I simply felt like for my purposes this product is counterproductive.Smells great and pretty (but not practical) packaging, but it is not at all what I expected.I’m gonna be returning this one and going back to my Guerlain meteorites. Less

Very natural, beautiful! Love it!!

I have this in #2 Taffetas Beiges. I'm fair, yellow undertone, and #2 color is super invisible on me (better than translucent from other brands, which make me look too pale). The lid closes extremely securely. It has a very nice loud click with the quarter turn, so you are certain not to leave it open. I am travelling with it -- no problem at all (though it is big). I have dry skin so cannot comment on mattiifying effect, but here's my take: - Super finely milled, lightweight - Very luxurious - Container is high quality, sturdy, elegant - Scent is nearly undetectable, fades rapidly - Tiny bit makes skin look subtly flawless - I think it reduces appearance of pores (not certain yet) - Long lasting on me - Applies super easily with included puff - Though in theory using puff should mean the 4 colors are applied in separate splotches (they do not premix), in practice my few pat, pats with the puff must blend the colors on my face; it looks super even. - #2 Taffetas=all matte, but some other ones have slight slight shimmer - Sets under eye concealer well (cannot comment on whole face setting as I don't need that) - Does not make me itch as some powders do - Does not at all cling to dry patches Tip: I did not remove clear sticker covering holes in dispenser. It remains, and I used a safety pin to poke holes through some (but not all) of the intended 4xG holes, so that it would dispense less product. i wanted more control, and knew I'd not need much powder. This can also help if you want more of one (or two) of the four colors (poke more holes in that section). « less

My favorite loose powder!

This may sound silly, but it is hard for me to admit that this is my favorite loose powder because I have been a huge fan of the Laura Mercier one for years. However, after using this loose powder for almost a year now, I can honestly say that I love this powder the best. I have the COLOR 1 Mousseline Pastel. It is very translucent. I thought it might look strange on my light-medium warm-toned skin, but you actually can't see any color whatsoever once applied to the skin. I love this powder because it blurs out pores and imperfections so beautifully without looking powdery. It is like a blurring filter in real life! I have an oily t-zone and this is perfect for keeping my oil at bay. I don't know how much color correcting this powder can actually do, but it makes my skin look good - that is for sure. I like that this mattifies the skin without giving it that unnatural flat matte look. This powder is quite expensive, so if you're into baking and all that jazz, you may need to find more affordable option. That being said, I purchased mine almost a year ago and I still have plenty left! I only lightly dust a little bit of this powder over my entire face after I apply all of my cream/liquid products. I highly recommend this product!!! « less

I bought both Mousseline Pastel and Organza Caramel. I have medium/lightly tanned skin with yellow tones. I use Mousseline Pastel all over to even out any redness/darkness under the eyes, then use Organza Caramel on the perimeter to warm up my face. For my cheeks, I orient the sponge so that the lightest colour from Organza Caramel is at the top of my face and the pink colour is on my cheeks. Skin concerns: - combo skin - acne - blackheads - dry patches/eczema Pros: - absorbs oil - face stays matte for up to 10hrs before a sheen starts to show in my oily areas - fine powder fills pores - does not highlight flakiness - blends well into my face - can layer, not cakey! Cons: - floral smell that dissipates after application - hard to control how much of each colour you get (I usually press the sponge on top of the holes and turn the container upside down to get a tiny bit of all the colours on the sponge. Takes a while but makes it more even.) « less
