Calling all skincare fanatics! This is a MUST HAVE product that you need to try if you have not already gotten your hands on a bottle! I am instantly hooked and will be purchasing this going forward whenever I run out of my complimentary bottle from Crowdtap & Garnier! Let me start of by saying that while I am a skincare enthusiast, I tend to always be the ones who finds out they cannot use the latest and greatest products out on the market. My sensitive skin will either (a) have an irritation-rash, (b) receive some sort of acne on the spots I tested on my face-skin, or (c) both, when it comes to using brand new products. However, this was not the case with the Garnier Micellar Water as this product not only brought brightness and life to my face, it even soothed it with the dry-harsh winter weather that we're having in my area! On first application, it instantly feels very light, non oily, non greasy, and in a sense, like I'm just using water on my face! I would note that while they state to saturate the cotton pad you are using on your face, I had to saturate at least 3-4 cotton pads to really remove all makeup from my face (one for each side and one for each eye). I had used this every morning & night (total of five cotton pads used each day) and saw a dramatic difference in not only the brightness of my skin but also the feel-touch of my skin as well. My skin had felted very supple and soft which was a nice change with the dryness I had been experiencing this winter due to heaters running consistently. Overall, I absolutely recommend trying out this product and am so glad I had the chance to try it before purchasing! Less

Holy grail

I’ve got very dry and sensitive skin and have tried loads of products in the past that all dried my skin out even more or left it feeling burnt. So for ages I had to stick with using unperfumed baby wipes to remove makeup as that was the only thing that didn’t irritate, however I was still breaking out on my chin and had a persistent dry patch on my cheek. Someone recommended trying micellar water so originally went for the Nivea one in the black bottle, found it felt nice on my skin but smudged my eye makeup rather than removing it and I felt quite oily afterwards. Then I saw this one on offer and decided to give it a go. I am so glad I did!! Without a doubt it’s the best product I’ve ever used, removes makeup really well including waterproof mascara, doesn’t make my skin red or sore, and for the first time my skin is beautifully soft and hydrated! My skin feels so smooth and there’s absolutely no trace of dryness anymore. It’s also cleared my skin up brilliantly, I get the occasional spot now and then but I think that’s down to hormones as it’s just one every so often. I swear by this now, I’m always recommending it to people as it’s done wonders for me! I also found another handy use for it; i dye the ends of my hair with Directions and the colour sometimes stains my neck, I used to either scrub at my skin for ages to remove it or even used nail varnish remover (that worked really well but of course I didn’t like using it on my skin!) however one day I decided to give this a go and it worked!! It removed the stains so easily just with a couple gentle wipes. So I honestly can’t rate this product enough! Less

Definitely not 'even for sensitive skin'

This stuff played havoc with my sensitive, albeit very clear, skin. It was extremely irritating(even when applied gently using a cotton wool pad), especially around the eye area. It did a terrible job at removing my makeup and then went on to cause a horrible breakout of red, irritated patches of spots and unsightliness. It mentions you can carry on with your routine 'without the need to rub or rinse', you need to rub in order to even budge the makeup(especially eye makeup) you're wearing and the cleanser then left an unpleasant, quite sticky, dried out, feeling on my skin after use so I then had to rinse my face with water and apply a ton of moisturiser.I bought this product around a year ago and still go back to it every month or two to see if it will ever agree with my sensitive skin and it never fails to break me out or just leave my skin feeling horrible. If you want to try this out and you have sensitive skin, make sure to buy the smaller size when it's on offer or try a sample to make sure it doesn't damage your skin. It works for some people with sensitive skin though so it's always worth a try I suppose! I definitely won't be repurchasing though. « less

*I received Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water to test and give my honest review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club *Thank You ChickAdvisor and Garnier for giving me the opportunity to try this product.I have never used a Micellar water before so it was very interesting to receive this and test it out.I wear makeup daily and my usual routine is to use makeup wipes to remove my makeup at night before I go to bed.My face always felt very tight and dry afterwards and there was always residue of mascara left.I would have to really slather on a a night moisturizer afterwards to try soothe my skin. This Micellar water really is like a magnet I was shocked at how much makeup and dirt it removes from my face.My face feels refreshed and there is no tight feeling on my skin afterwards. The bottle is huge!I was not expecting this big of a bottle it is 400 ml and a little goes a very long way.Im happy to read there is no alcohol, fragrance or oil in this product. Its very lightweight and my skin feels so refreshed after using it.I like to use it in the morning as well it really wakes me up and makes my face feel good.Questions ChickAdvisor wanted us to consider when doing this review.1)-How was your experience with this product based on the advertised benefits? (e.g. difference in skin tone, gentleness of cleansing, etc)As mentioned my skin did not have a tight feeling or felt dried out,I had no red marks from my usual over scrubbing. My skin was refreshed and cleansed. The product is very gentle,my skin is dry/sensitive and this was extremely gentle on my skin.2)-How quickly did you notice a difference when using the product?I instantly noticed a difference after using this product and notice a dramatic change in my skins condition.3)-How would you compare this product to your usual skincare product? This product has been a dramatic change from my previous skin routine. Before I was using makeup wipes that were drying and irritating my skin.4)-Would you purchase this product again?Yes I will be purchasing this product again this has replaced my old skincare routine5)-Would you recommend this product to a friend?I have been recommending this product to all my friends/family etc.I have always trusted the Garnier name and there products thanks again for the opportunity to test this. Less

I absolutely love this product for removing makeup from my acne prone skin. Just apply to a cotton round. I also recommend washing twice with a cleaner (not to harsh to avoid drying or damaging the skin). This product even removes waterproof mascara, eyeliners , and even eyelash glue as well!
