Hey guys I just wanted to know what do you think about Jeffree star cosmetics, I ordered the jawbreaker palette but I’ve never used his palettes so I’m worried about the quality and pigment #jeffreestar #eyeshadow #makeup #discussion #jawbreaker

They are absolutely wonderful!!! I use the blue blood pallet and the pigmentation is great! But be careful since some are pressed pigments💛💛🙃

Skincare products??? I’ve always dealt with the occasional bump or breakout here and there, but that was it. And I didn’t even have a good skincare routine. BUT within the last 5-6 months everything has changed. I’ve been on low estrogen birth control for over a year and that hasn’t affected my skin. Last summer I started using It cosmetics cc cream and thought it might be causing breakouts so I stopped and went to tarte. My entire face stays broke out with deep and often painful bumps no matter what I do. I drink tons of water. I wash my face religiously. I have no idea what to do. Please send some advice/products my way

HALPPP!! My makeup continues to slide off my face and transfer so easy and I’m so frustrated. Here is my current whole regiment.. I have large pores and a really oily t-zone.. Wash- philosophy’s purity cleanser Tone- Mario badescu witch hazel rose water Serum- neogen pore aid Moisturizer- Origins Matte moisturizer with willow herb Setting spray- Milani make it last Mac paint pot for t-zone Primer- Covergirl outlast all day or hourglass mineral veil Translucent powder- NCJ cosmetics (Nikkia joy) Foundation- matte fit me poreless or Estée Lauder when I want fuller coverage I set with powder and sometimes bake. What is going on here? I literally touch my nose to itch it and it slips my whole make up! 😔 I’m so discouraged! Thanks so much I’m advance 🙌

Try a primer that is more on the sticky side to help your makeup not move as much. This is a very good base to help makeup last a long time throughout the day. For the setting spray I recommend @All Nighter Setting Spray from urban decay. I use it daily and I absolutely love it! Hope this works for you!💕

Does anyone have a recommendation for a #mascara ? My eyes tear up with a lot of brands and I’m not sure what I’m allergic to. I’m trying the it cosmetics/blow bar mascara and it’s really bothering my eyes. #recommendation #allnatural #sensitiveeyes

Bronzer help pls!! I’m very pale and need a bronzer that won’t make me orange. I’ve tried hoola (both the regular and light shades) & soleil tan de Chanel. They all make me orange and look super patchy by the end of the day. The only makeup I wear is mascara and bronzer. Thank you in advance (:

This bronzer is really good, it blends out easily and it isn’t too expensive. I’m not sure what their shade range is but I hope you can find one that works for you!

THIS. I swear barely anyone has heard of it but definitely make my top 5 favorite products ever. It’s BB cream but honestly covers like a foundation but feels like a moisturizer. Plus SPF 45 is a plus 👍🏼 I love to wear it alone or if you want a super full coverage look you can apply foundation over. You can get it on Amazon too.

You don’t need glitter glue a primer or some sort of based should be fine and even then the aurora palette if i remember correct cause I’m not looking at my palette is baked and you don’t really need that I would suggest applying it with a wet brush

Need some advice on troubled skin. I’m oily and blemish-prone, and while I tend to believe it’s because my skin is dehydrated, moisturizers seem to make me oilier and don’t sit well under makeup...but if I don’t use a moisturizer, I get awful dry, flaky patches. Skincare and cosmetics suggestions?

Try this. It evened out my skin. I have a lot of indents on my face from blemishes and use “Formula 10.0.6 Be Berry Radiant Resurfacing” mask now. It’s doing a pretty good job. And I drink 80 oz of water a day now and that helps too

Hey y’all. I am struggling to find a good foundation that doesn’t make my t-zone #oily . It started when I got IT cosmetics stuff so I went back to my TARTE Amazonian clay foundation. I mean maybe I’m not using my #setting #powder right but it’s just bizarre. What #foundation do y’all use? I have #dry skin everywhere else around my face and my skin is #sensitive HELP

Anyone have like a model skincare routine for skin like this? My current routine is 2 types of makeup remover (miscelliur water and makeup wipe) then a neutragena gentle acne cleanser, allure brightening facial scrub (every other day), Clinique acne spot treatment then it cosmetics moisturizer and eye cream. I feel my routine isnt ideal cause I know NOTHING about skincare. I prefer more on like the drugstore side of things. Anything helps!

It cosmetics Cc cream So I’m deciding that I’m not gonna use foundation anymore because it feels to heavy and it’s to much to put on an everyday basis so I wanna try the it cosmetics cc cream is it good and does it make your skin look natural? Is there anything bad about it?
Profile picture of Nicolette Campbell

It’s pretty heavy and more of a foundation in my opinion. It’s been a fat year since I used IT’s cc cream, but I remember it being more of a foundation, and having it be visibly separating after several hours of wear. MILK’s sunshine skin tint is a nice lightweight tinted moisturizer, and if you’re looking for more of a sheer, water based foundation, I’d recommend Makeup forever’s water based hd foundation.

What are the ladies with EXTRA dry skin using as a serum before their moisturizer at night and/or morning? When I say dry, I mean I put The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid and then I layer on the THICK Vanicream with DE Protini and wake up feeling TIGHTTTT 🙃 No cost maximum— I need Jesus and serums since winter is coming!

Dermalogica’s skin hydrating booster is great! You can apply it to your skin before you apply your foundation or you can mix it with your foundation. Always gives a smoother finish.

I have oily T Zone bad. By the middle of the day I am super shiny and oily. I have used Clinique Beyond Perfecting I love it but turns me orange after awhile. I have used Too Faced Peach Mattifyjng. I want to try Fenty Mattifyjng. I just want to know the best for oily skin. Even drug store recommendations would be ok. But I tend to break out on the cheaper foundations. I want full coverage as well. So far the Too Faced Peach is the best so far but willing to try other. I am sick of being shiny by middle of day and having to use my Beauty Blender blotters. I use E.L.F poreless putty primer or W n W Matte Priner so priner reco would be good too. I also use Clinique setting powder. Just help sick of being Oily. Oh! And I use Born This Way full cover Concealor. I was using De-Slick UD Setting Spray as well but now use E.L.F Matter spray. So any and all reco please for all the above! TIA

I have super oily skin my t zone is even worse. I also have super sensitive skin. I use the body shop’s seaweed line (it’s for oily skin) in conjunction with with the tea tree line for when I’m having acne. But I literally load up on anything and everything the is “mattifying” or is matte for moisturizers and primers. I also bake. Even my foundations are matte. I don’t use everything in the picture all together but these are the products I’ve found work for me and my acne prone skin. Depending on the day and how much makeup I wear and whether or not I’m having a breakout kind of determines with group I use. When I’m not breaking out and I’m just gonna wear a a sheer coverage foundation or a BB cream, the elf+ matte line works well with the elf oil control primer mist. I have classes from 8 in the morning and then work until 6 in the afternoon and usually don’t get home until 7ish and my makeup lasts. When I get home I usually notice that I’m getting oily but it’s not a gross looking oily, I look “luminous” on my t zone. When I’m wearing full coverage foundation I use the body shop line. But, I also feel like the heavier the products you use, the more oil your skin is going to produce. Which means your makeup isn’t going to last as long. On my full coverage days I usually carry around blotting mist, blotting powder, and blotting paper as well. Generally if I can get away with it, I stick with sheer coverage foundations. If I want a little more coverage I’ll add some full coverage foundation to my sheer coverage but not a lot. Just so that I can keep it as light as possible. I’ll also use powder foundations in conjunction with liquid sheer coverage. Sorry that was so much but I hope it helps!!!

I forgot to add, one thing I really like about the elf+ matte lotion and primer is that it has tea tree oil in it to help fight acne. Tea tree oil has become my holy grail for acne!

I’ve never tried the Benefit brow pencil, but this has a really tiny tip like it and it’s really creamy so you only have to apply the smallest amount of pressure to get color payoff.

Best palettes or single eyeshadows for mermaid makeup (inexpensive)? I don’t usually wear any colorful makeup so I don’t have anything really suitable for a mermaid Halloween costume. I’m thinking something like BH Cosmetics, NYX, Makeup Revolution, Colourpop, etc. that isn’t a huge palette or expensive because I won’t use it a lot. I just want some pretty purples and blues that are shimmery and/or glittery! #halloween

This palette works for people who want quick color but tbh the blend isn’t thaaaaaat good and the pigment is ehh for a lot of colors. I would honestly just go for the James Charles and get your money’s worth. It’s hard to get palettes that have a good payoff that aren’t on the bigger side.

Anyone have a good dupe for IT cosmetics CC cream? I have incredibly dry skin and I’m obsessed with the coverage/finish of this.. but being a drugstore queen, I can’t get myself to repurchase constantly. Looking for a dewy, preferably clean-ish dupe #dupe #help

I’m not sure how much of a dupe it is since it’s been a while since I’ve tried the IT one, but I love the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream. It’s about $10-$15 on Amazon for a 1.7 oz. tube with a pump. It’s very hydrating/dewy, great coverage and it has 42 spf. The only thing is that since it’s a Korean brand, they only have a handful of shades and it tends more towards the lighter skin tones. So if you can find a shade that works for you, it’s incredible. I found out about it from Jessica Braun on YouTube, it’s one of her holy grails, she raves about it.

Smashbox studio skin full coverage foundation is no joke. If you are looking for full coverage and something transfer proof, this will do the job. I put it on and it’s like my skin disappeared, a little goes a long way though you don’t want too much or you might look cakey.
