What is your holy grail budget skincare product? Mine is the Formula 10.0.6 Thirst No More moisturizer. At only $9, I can honestly say it’s my favorite I’ve tried! #skincare #holygrail

So I’ve been using the elf contour kit but lately I noticed that it looks bad on me and I’m considering buying a new contour/bronzer and my two options were the Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer and Wet n Wild’s contour duo

I need some new bronzers in my life! What are your holy grails? I currently use Physician’s Formula and Too Faced Chocolate Soleil. Love them both but just looking to switch things up a bit. Both luxury and drugstore suggestions welcome 😊 #bronzer #holygrail

I loved Benefit Rollerlash so much! It was my splurge. They quit making brown and I look really harsh in black mascara. I did research on dupes and got Lash sensational full fan effect by maybelline. I love it more than the benefit mascara. It was 7 bucks at the grocery store.

#Bronzer #Advice Bronzing is such an important step in my makeup routine, but I feel like it goes away after just a couple of hours. I currently use a primer, and setting spray to help but still get the same results. My current bronzer is physicians formula butter bronzer. Should I change bronzers or apply it differently?

I usually use a liquid concealer to bronze then set it with a bronzer , it makes it so you’re snatched longer

since i have oily skin should i be using a matte formula instead of dewy formulas?

Try using a matte formula for foundation and setting it with a dewy setting spray. It should help your skin still look healthy and natural and make your makeup last longer.

I can’t seem to keep foundation from settling into forehead lines or into my cheek dimples. Can anyone recommend a good primer and a good foundation that might help with this? For foundation I currently use Physician’s Formula, but I have tried so many and can’t seem to find one I love. Help! I’m pretty pale, I typically use the lightest or second lightest shade in every foundation brand I’ve tried. #help #primer #foundation #finelines 22yearsold #drugstore #sephora #recommendations

Suggestions on eyeshadow primers for oily eyelids please! I used to use the Urban decay primer potion but their new formula wasn’t as good as the old one with the squeeze tube! I’ve tried NYX and Too Faced. They still give me creases in my eyeshadow and still make my eyelids oily. Thanks guys!!

Milani! Even better than the Urban Decay Primer Potion. I ran out on the UD one and since I don’t wear makeup often, I wanted one that was cheap. I liked the wear so much better!

I want the JLo glow while combating the oil... I have oily-combination skin so I’m used to using mattifying foundations because that’s what I keep getting recommended. But I desire a glowy look. I tried the Tarte shape tape foundation in the moisturizing formula but something didn’t feel right about it. Does anyone have any suggestions for foundations I can try?

Best foundations & eyeshadows that are for sensitive skin? I use tarte, bare minerals, physicians formula and Clinique but I am sure there are brands I have not discovered.

I love this product. It’s a tinted moisturizer so it isn’t as full coverage but it’s better for your skin. It works amazing for me. I love tarts and too faced eyeshadows a lot. They stay on and are good for your skin. Hope this helps!!!

Hey friends, as you can see from the pictures, my foundation has started to become...flaky? And weird? When I wear it for longer periods of time. As you can see from the tagged products, it doesn’t matter which foundation I use, it gives me that weird cakey-flaky consistency after some wear. I think my skin has become more oily recently, but that’s the only skin change I’ve had and I’ve worn both of these foundations for forever so I don’t think it’s the formula. Not really sure what to do? Help??

make sure that your face is properly moisturized before primer/foundation! I know it sounds weird bc moisturizing oily skin seems contradictory, but properly hydrated skin will reduce that problem! I recommend either cera ve pm as an every day moisturizer or Glossier’s priming moisturizer!

@Maggie H going off of this post you have to try and be sure your primer is the same base as your foundation. I use a water based foundation so my primer needs to be water based or else it will separate and become a weird consistency!

@Mallory E Martin you know I was wondering about that, thank you! Do you know any good water based primers? I’ve definitely been using mostly silicone.

Foundation for pale, dry skin So I've had a really good experience with the Maybelline FitMe Dewy + Smooth foundation, but during the winter it's just too dark for me, and I can't find a lighter color. I tried the IT Cosmetics Your Face but Better foundation and it is a lovely, lovely formula, but way too dark for my very very fair skin. I also tried the Burt's Bees goodness glows foundation and it's just downright terrible. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue finding a foundation that’s pale enough - especially in the winter. I’m currently using the Fenty foundation - which IS light enough - but I’m not sure I would recommend it for dry skin. It seems to cling to texture. If you’re looking for drugstore makeup, the Covergirl Clean foundation was amazing for my skin but the color didn’t match me too well. I hope you find something! I know your struggle all too well!

I need a new mascara. I have the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes one and I do like the formula. However I find that by the end of the day my lashes do not look curled anymore. Any recommendations for mascaras similar to this that will hold a curl longer?

So I have very dark circles under my eyes, but I also have pretty deep creases there as well. Whenever I buy a concealer thick enough to cover my dark circles, it creases. But then when I buy a lighter formula it doesn’t cover my dark circles at all. What are your under eye concealer recommendations?
Profile picture of Jessica Helms

DryDry Skin
I’ve always struggled with dark under eye circles and also have one especially deep crease under my left eye. I started using this a couple of months ago and I can’t believe how much it’s lightened my dark circles, so now I can use much less concealer and still cover the circles I have left. I’ve been using ColourPop’s new Pretty Fresh Concealer for a little over a month and it’s a great formula, I tap it in with my ring finger and then immediately set it with a small amount of banana powder with my damp sponge and it stays all day without creasing.

I’m having trouble with my foundations breaking up around my nose almost instantly or just looking awful, any suggestions? I powder and set with a setting spray and I have combo skin with an oily t-zone. I currently switch between hourglass seamless stick and physicians formula healthy foundation

Hmm, well both those foundations are known for being dewy, so I think if you’re oily (especially around the T-zone) it’s bound to break up around your nose. I suggest if you still want to use those foundations I’d try the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder—this was my holy grail before Accutane. Also probably trying out mattifying primers would help, but try and avoid “pore-minimizing” ones as I find those clog my pores and especially on the tip of my noise break up. Hope this helps! ❤️

Similar formula I feel in love with the No. 7 beyond perfecting foundation. It sadly broke out my skin but I loved the coverage, does anyone know of a similar coverage and overall look/feel?

Have you tried the Maybeline for me foundation yet? I personally like fuller coverage but fit me has light to medium, build able coverage. I really like it for more no makeup makeup days and it hasn’t broken me out. There’s a dewy and matte version so it’s good for all skin types.
