Does anyone know any good highlighter for fair skin? I’m struggling to find one that’s not ridiculously overpriced :(

I’ve used this for a couple months and I ABSOLUTELY love it. It has 3 different shades so for 13 dollars I think it’s definitely worth it. Not to mention I have fair skin and it still pops out with me hardly using any!! :)

Any concealer with the IT cosmetics 103 concealer brush is a go to for me. The brush is an investment but so so so worth it. Makes any concealer go on flawlessly and gives it fuller coverage

Not sure if you’ve tried these, but they’re quite cool toned colors. If not, I recommend you check out Makeup Geek. They sell separate contour pans at a reasonable price. BhCosmetics also has a reasonably priced contour palette for $12 quite similar to this NYX one

I love the covergirl clean matte bb cream! Works really well at controlling my oils and blurring pores, just make sure it's the bb cream not the foundation

So nowadays there are actually kinda a lot of foundations that have really fair tones. The best YouTuber I’ve found who talks about them is Taylor Wynn 😍😍 so I attached a little video for you it’s titled about dry skin but she always talks about shade range and what works for her and what could work for someone else. So it’s super beneficial and detailed.

Can anyone recommend a good powder for dry fair skin, preferably under $20 or so please? I’ve tried Coty Airspun and Maybelline Fit Me and neither work for me at all, and I’m currently using this Too Faced powder and I like it ok but I would much rather find a cheaper option if possible.

you can try the mini one at Sephora for $20. I’ve had the bigger one for months and it’s lasted me a long time. It’s a sheer finish, I also struggle with dry skin ( kp) and it works very well.

Does anyone know of a good bronzer for fair/light skin tones (specifically drugstore)?!?

Butter bronzer is a drugstore fave of mine and most days I actually prefer it over the hoola one. I’ve also heard that the wet n’ wild bronzers are great, but I’ve never tried them for myself. Hope this helps ya out! ;)

Can anyone recommend a good foundation for dry skin that has really fair shades with neutral undertones? I always have trouble finding a light enough shade without it pulling too pink or yellow.

Have fair skin and acne prone. What’s the BEST face wash and / or moisturizer for sensitive skin and Benzoyl peroxide allergy?

I also experience acne prone/sensitive skin and have found this moisturizer to be super helpful and soothing on my skin! When purchasing make sure you have the oil free version since they have the same looking bottle for different ‘levels’ of moisturizing. For a face wash, I would recommend the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Acne Face Wash! It works well on acne without upsetting sensitive skin. However it can be hit or miss depending on the type of acne you have since the little beads in it can actually contribute to clogged pores, but its worth a try!

@marissa bullis careful with that face wash bc it made my skin SO irritated and caused bumps all over my skin

I want to try contouring with elf camo concealer. I use the color light ivory. How do I know how dark of a shade to buy for contour? I’m fair to light with a neutral undertone. Halp! 🤗

Roughly the same ratio as a base eyeshadow shade equal to your skin tone and a mid toned eyeshadow for your crease. I wear the lightest shade in foundations, and this in the lightest shade is the perfect darkness for me. Sadly, it’s discontinued, but look at pics of it on the internet because what is almost more important is the tone—a good contour on fair to light skin should have no red, bronze or warmth to it whatsoever. Grey and ashy. Might sound weird, but shadows are greyscale. Don’t worry, you won’t look like the Walking Dead—rather, YBB (You But Better). If the e.l.f. isn’t ashy, I’d give it a pass. In a pinch, you can use ashy-brown eyeshadow. Hope this helps. :)

I am looking for a hydrating foundation for dry skin that gives me a dewy/glowing or illuminating finish. My skin is fair (usually 2nd from lightest shade). What would be the best? Or do you have any other suggestions? Also would like to find a setting powder that’s hydrating and/or illuminating. I tried too faced born this way translucent powder, but it seems to be matte and drying. Any suggestions?

The airspun powder is AMAZING. It’s a matte finish but does not dry and honestly I think it’s amazing. Only 5 bucks at Walmart 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve heard lots of good things about this one! Only thing to be mindful of is that it does have coconut in it I believe so if you’re sensitive to that maybe steer clear of this one! Hope this helps!! :)
