What are your favorite eyeshadow palettes? I’m looking for a pallet that has good color pigment and easy to blend. Also a good eye primer.

If you’re looking for color, the new Norvina palettes for ABH are lovely. Three volumes so it covers most of the color spectrum, and pressed pigments so the color payoff is lovely. A bit pricy, but you get a lot of shadows and the pans are quite large. I also appreciate the enormous high quality mirror included inside for those days you are getting ready on the fly.

Has anyone tried lash tinting? Do you think it made your eyelashes grow slower than they typically do? #lashes #tint #dye #eyes #eye #eyelashes #growth #length #volume #color #help #questions #mascara

Lash tinting was the best thing I ever did! I tint mine every 6 weeks. It’s actually relaxing. You sit with the dye on your lashes for 10+ minutes and then they take it off with water! The best!

Any good recs for a concealer that won’t dry my under eyes? I use two different eye creams and still, I get creasing even after setting with a powder. I’m currently using Laura Mercier Luminous Candleglow concealer and the Born This Way concealer but everything creases and looks so dry every time.

I use the too faced born this way a lot (on both my self and clients) I find that for really dry under eyes the Algenist complete eye renewal balm always makes a huge difference both long term and instantly. But the touché eclat high coverage radiant concealer is great for dry under eyes as well. I hope this is helpful :)

Hello! I’ve struggled with acne since I was 12 and it continues to be painful and unsightly at 21. I’ve used oral medication and topical creams and nothing works. I currently use Cetaphil to wash my face, Thayers witch hazel toner, Neutrogena eye cream, and the Cetaphil moisturizer during the day. At night, I use the same as above but the Cerave moisturizer and Watermelon Illuminator Overnight Serum by HanHoo. I also take the Olly, Undeniable Beauty vitamin. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. ☺️

i use lush’s fresh farmacy face cleansing bar, and then i use the mario badescu’s aloe vera toner and the oil free neutrogena grapefruit lotion and then the mario badescu’s rose water spray. it can be a little expensive but i’ve honestly noticed such a big change. investing in good skin care was the BEST thing i ever did!

Hello, dry skin ladies! I’ve always just used random products to build my skin care routine, but I’m looking for a one-brand, quality regimen. Preferably something that’s good for day and night and has extras like an eye cream, face oils, etc. Is there anything like that out there?

I need help!!!! I purchased IT Bye Bye Under Eye Full Cover waterproof concealer recently. Today I used it for the first time and my face looked like a mess. After I applied it I put setting powder on it. When I did that it started flaking and separating. It looked awful. I know I’m doing something wrong. If anyone that’s familiar with this product can give me tips and advice I’d so greatly appreciate it. I’m at a loss.

Sometimes when you mix a product with another product (primer/moisturizer or foundation) and they have opposite ingredients it can cause a reaction like this. Maybe try it again but do the routine a little differently by substituting another product to see what exactly causes it.

@alyssa thank you. I’m going to try a different setting powder. I have a feeling that it’s the culprit.

The new E.L.F Halo Glow powder is AMAZING!! I recently bought it because I wanted to see what all the hype is about and it is sooo good!!! They weren’t lying lol. Hands down the best out there I the drugstore right now! It sets beautifully. I like it even better than some of my high end ones at only $6-8 depending where you get it. I am truly impressed!

I have really bad under eye bags, I get a lot of sleep I don’t know why they’re so dark. I really hate it, if you know of any product or eye cream that will reduce the appearance of those dark under eye circles it would be greatly appreciated. Please help!

I definitely feel that. Sadly, it’s usually genetic so there’s not much of a fix for it, however, I have found that color correcting has made a huge difference in my everyday routine! Also PSA- eye creams are usually just concentrated moisturizers so you can skip that step to save some time and money!

I don’t think you’re too young. Just look out for which ones you pick, like ones that aren’t meant for aging. Also, you don’t need to spend a lot on eye creams. If you want something that will help brighten and hydrate your under eyes, then I recommend this one.

What is the best concealer for someone with under eye bags and lines? They are genetic and I use a hyaluronic acid eye cream before my makeup to try to make them dissipate as much as possible. Most concealers just settle into the lines and I haven’t found one that works >.<

You might just naturally have a crease there (like above), the dryness might be from a compromised skin barrier. If you are over washing your face and use really drying and irritating products (such as active ingredients with acids) with loads of sd alcohol, I would stop using those. Finally, (yeah this is long sorry) I would use a good hydrating toner/essence (or oil basically all do the same thing) and then moisturize. I also like to add Vaseline at night but that can be annoying.
