Anti-aging, evens out skin, good for acne
There are so many different wrinkle creams and anti-aging serums on the market today that women can easily get bombarded with advertising and product samples. As such, many women rely on word of mouth and product reviews to determine which products they should invest in on a trial basis before becoming a loyal user. Estee Lauder is a popular brand that produces makeup and other beauty products, including an entire line of anti-aging products. In this review, we will take a closer look at the Advanced Night Repair to see how well it works to erase the signs of aging. It has been more than two weeks since using the serum nightly, and I am seriously impressed with the results. No, it's not a miracle, but I'd say it's been a gradual godsend for my face. After two weeks I noticed a significant decrease in my overall pore size and that my pores are much less congested than before. Especially areas around my nose and cheeks seem much smoother and even the capillaries are less prominent. Additionally, some scars which had remained from previous blemishes are gradually fading into obscurity. I am convinced that this Advanced Night Repair serum is helping to repair some of the years of damage incurred from sunburns, acne and other environmental stresses that come from living in the West. As far as "lines, wrinkles, sagging and age spots" which are the targets of this product, I can't say my wrinkles have disappeared (I have a few in my forehead and I'm not into botox). But, overall my complexion is more even toned and just seems more dewey and youthful to me « less

Brightening, good for acne, pore minimizing
This was one of my first introductions to EL products and I am officially SOLD on the brand for life now. My skin's back story: I have suffered from acne prone skin for the past 12 years now (I recently turned 25), so I've done it all - used all the harsh products, prescription medicated + over the counter/medicated stuff, etc - until eventually I felt like I needed to baby my skin so it can calm down. I started a regimen on one natural product's brand two years ago, then switched products + brands over time, depending on what my skin needed. After having been too harsh on my skin for so long, I decided it was time to spend a little more money on good skincare. About 3-5 months ago, I stopped by Macy's to get some recommendations from an EL counter. I have oily, acne prone skin so the sales rep recommended the I cleanse with the Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Cleansing Gelée/Refine (which, I'll also be reviewing, among everything else I list), I was currently using a toner from another brand, the Night Repair Serum + Advanced Night Repair Eye and moisturize with the Clear Difference Oil Control/Mattifying Hydrating Gel - in that order, DAY and NIGHT. Although my esthetician believes I shouldn't currently be using anti-aging products - I saw a DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT in the texture of my skin and I know the Repair Serum had 75-80% to do with it. My personal cons: I don't recommend using it day + night, like the sales rep instructed me IF YOU HAVE OILY + / ACNE PRONE SKIN. My esthetician said layering on many rich anti-aging products can clog pores and further exacerbate breakouts, and based on my experience - I agree with her. My personal solution: due to my budget and my current skincare needs, I prefer to have separate regimens for day and night - day: focused on preventing / controlling breakouts and night: focus on evening/brightening skin tone + anti-aging and repair. From a skincare enthusiast to (maybe) another - I hope this was helpful! :)

Smooth, brightening
Amazing product to use day and night after toner! Helps restore skin to feel smoother and refreshed. Makes skin look more radiant and break down discoloration.
