is there any good cleansers for sensitive, dry skin that are cruelty free? preferably without fragrance or essential oils. (makes my skin really sensitive)

I have dry skin and lately any cleanser has been drying me out terribly and almost every moisturizer is just not enough I recently tried Ponds cold cream cleanser and it truly worked wonders I can absolutely see why it’s still a really good buy since 1846, it left my skin super soft, hydrated, moisturized and clean. I first removed most of my makeup with the Ulta makeup removing towel (like a MakeupEraser) then I massage the cold cream on my face avoiding my eyes, and leave it on (a bit like a mask and for it to work and grasp on any dirt, oil and pollution I have on my face) while I get in the shower and wash my body, then I take a wash cloth, soak it in warm water and gently wipe my face clean. You’ll be surprised how soft and moisturizer your face is. The Fragrance Free version I usually find it at Target for about $5 I paired it with their dry skin moisturizer and it is truly amazing! Star Duo! Never in my life I thought I would EVER use Ponds, and I love it!

@Edmarie Carrasquillo i would check it out but sadly ponds isn’t cruelty free :/. also i used to use ponds on my face when i was 15 and it left my skin very red and irritated. but thanks for the suggestion!! 😊

@Emily oh, I’m so sorry Emily They do say when people try ponds they either love it or hate it The irritation might have been from the fragrance too

Wet n wild has insanely cheap brushes that are great. Individually they are an average of 1-3$. Some eyeshadow brushes for less than a $1

foundation i’ve been looking for a new foundation to my oily skin. I have the Bobbi Brown longwear weightless foundation. i love the color but the foundation itself doesn’t work with my oily skin. I’ve been looking at quite a few. Does anyone have any reviews of these? Too Faced Born this way, Kay Von D lock it, Jouer essential high coverage, Sephora matte perfection full coverage, Too faced peach perfect. i know there’s a lot but i just can’t decide 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Personally I love the Estée Lauder double wear foundation! It works great for my oily skin. Also I use the Cover FX power play concealer on my nose (the oiliest part of my face) and it works amazingly. So maybe try the Power Play foundation?

thought about the Estée Lauder double wear, but my skin tone is so weird because i’m pale. so I did the thing on Sephora to see your exact foundation matches using a shade of a foundation you currently use and i don’t have a match for the Estée Lauder😕

@kelsey millard Im so sorry to hear that! I got matched by Estée Lauder at a Dillard’s to find my match, but I do have a neutral skin tone so maybe that’s why 🤷🏻‍♀️

Need a new primer! Hello! I have had THE worst time finding a primer that works for me. I have tried urban decay’s, benefit porefessional, elf, Mac, and currently use Elizabeth Mott which is okay. I have combination skin that has light texture and tends to become oily quickly and all of my primers have made my foundation slide off of my oily spots or generally just not sit well on my skin. I know that it is the primers causing the problems because I have tried a ton of different foundations and powders as well as application tools. Please help, thanks!!!

It might be because your skin is stressed. Check out the drunk elephant skincare products and try to wash your face a max of twice a day. In particular, try their babyfacial exfoliant.

Just curious... Are there any other beauty professionals on here? I’m a certified makeup artist and I wanna know if anyone else is in the industry. I’m just starting out and wonder if anyone would have my advice on freelancing, like getting clients, building a portfolio, building kits, must haves for kits, favorite tools and products. Really any tips would help!

I am a makeup artist. The best advice I can give is to use a cream contour underneath the foundation. I recently learned this, and it has changed my game. The best cream contour palette for a makeup artist would be to invest in the RCMA palette or the MAC palette. I also apply the concealer before the foundation. Then put the foundation on top. I use a bronzer on top of the foundation. My favorite bronzer is the Benefit Hoola or the Too Faced bronzer. The physician’s formula bronzer is also something I love

So I’ve noticed foundations like to separate on my face and I’m not quite sure what I’m doing wrong. I have dry skin and I do moisturize. It might be the tools that I use. Any advice would be great.

Looking for recommendations for an amazing mini fridge that I can keep skincare and beauty tools in! There are so many on amazon that I don’t really know what to pick from! Do some of you have one you love? Are there features you would recommend? Thoughts?
