I am very, very, VERY picky about mascara. I naturally have very long, full, thick, dark lashes, and I love to play them up even more. One of my best features. But because they are all those things, it is difficult to find a mascara that doesn't make my lashes stick together or smear or flake right off. Clumps of mascara, and clumps of lashes, that's my biggest issues with mascara any given day. Which means I go through a lot of mascaras, trying them all out. I quite like Better Than Sex Waterproof, and DiorShow Iconic, but they're really expensive. This mascara does everything those mascaras do, and it's a tiny fraction of the price, and doesn't come with that horrible fragrance DiorShow has. I took this with me on a trip, and it lasted through a very long, active day at a convention, and then again when I put it on the train to come back home, it lasted for about 24 hours through THAT, too. 24 hours! I had a few smudges under my eyes after I fell asleep, but I still looked like I was wearing mascara at the end. I may hate the packaging, but it gives me fabulous lashes.

Hate hate hate this product. It’s a wet formula that takes a long time to dry. It’s clumped my eye lashes together because it’s so wet and has no separation to the bristles. I would of looooved for this to of worked because it has great reviews and it’s cheap but I guess you get what you paid for.

I, like most other women, have tried basically every mascara. This one is by far my favorite regardless of the (awesome) price. I would gladly pay more but glad I don't have to. It is a thick formula and makes dramatic lashes that are impossible not to notice. If you are experienced at applying mascara (roots first. Let dry a little. Add to the tips for length) then you should have very little problem with clumping. It does not flake or smudge. Seriously. Even through a nap it barely transfers to my face. Recently I have been trying some tube lengthening mascara but honestly, while dramatic, they do not compare to lash princess.

I love this mascara and will continue to buy again and again. This adds a ton of volume and a ton of length, it really makes it look like you have false lashes on! I like my eye lashes to look huge and this is the best I have tried so far, even compared to high end mascaras!! It is a little bit clumpy, but this is only a plus because it helps to add length a volume, but it still separates eye lashes well. It is semi-waterproof I would say, I take my makeup off in the shower at night with just water, then a remover wipe when I get out, and this mascara doesn't come off in the first few minutes which can be a bit annoying. But after it comes off easy and then the wipe I use to get the left over. It doesn't smudge or flake off during the day and is very long lasting!!!

Saw the reviews for this product, and had to try it when Essence was BOGO 50% off. I'm so glad I did! I no longer have to use two different mascaras for a dramatic lengthening effect. One coat is good for a daytime natural look and additional coats add a lot of volume and length. Product builds up nicely, stays put during the day, and is removed easily with my makeup remover. Love that Essence is cruelty free and budget-friendly, as I never splurge on high end makeup. I hope they never discontinue this product; I'll use this mascara for life! Thanks Essence
