My HG of cleansers

I have sensitive skin with patches of dryness and am always on the look out for a hydrating cleanser that also is good for sensitive skin. This cleanser is perfect for that, if used properly really breaks up and removes make up and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. It has also helped reduce my skin's redness. I highly recommend this cleanser to anyone that has sensitive or dry skin.

takes some getting used to, but magic!

I LOVE this makeup remover and will never use another one ever again. I have oily, acne prone skin and have long-been hesitant to try oil-based cleansers, but after Soko Glam recommended it as the first step in a double cleanse I decided to give it a shot. (I am half Asian.) The first few times I used it I hated it. I even tossed it into my bag to return! But then I forgot and accidentally took it on an overnight where I figured out how to properly use it. Take just a tiny amount — a little goes a LONG way — and massage into dry skin. It takes awhile but I think of it as a lovely little pampering session. Afterward, rinse off and then use a traditional cleanser for the second step of a double cleanse. Just amazing! It is not harsh at all. Takes off makeup better than anything I have ever used in my life and it gives my skin a lovely, gentle sheen. Less

Not your best Combination

I was very excited to try this product in my 10 step. Unfortunately this product did much more harm than any good.I added this to my regular skincare routine in the last week since I received the product. At first my skin was a bit dryer than usual, and so I used it only at night. A few days after introducing this though my skin became so irritated that my normal skincare products burned my combination skin on application, the pores on my nose had become clogged with oil, and other parts of my face were visibly and uncomfortably tight. In short this product caused a 360 negative turnover in my skin within a week! I attribute the negative affects to heavy oils in the formula that are better suited for a body application rather than a face application. This product contains linalool & limonene- something that is directly attributable to fragrance ingredients and known irritants to some. While this product may work for some people, it is not for combination skin like mine. I am quite discouraged since this is advertised as a fragrance free product, yet it DOES in fact contain fragrance with linalool & limonene. « less

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

I'm pretty picky with my cleaners. I've been using a brand called IOPE or FACESHOP cleansing oil for the past few years.I've switched to Erborian Cleansing Oil and I can see this being a long-term relationship. The scent is mild and not at all offensive. The texture is nice and silky. It doesn't really drip or becomes difficult to remove when washing like some oils.It stays pretty solid and melts gently as you massage it on your face. What I love about it most is that after massaging it for a minute or two and then adding water to lather lightly, you feel clean and refreshed!I have actually actively seen my blackheads lessen and pore get less clogged by using the cleansing oil, not to mention the breakouts becoming less frequent.Don't get me wrong, I don't think all products work for everyone, but my mom loved it so much after I used it a handful of times, she got her own and bought me another tub.It also lasts a while since you don't need to use too much of it.This got me started on the brand, and so far I'm absolutely loving it! Less
