Gentle, Lightly Scented Exfoliating Cream - Great for Sensitive Combination Skin

Though I have rather sensitive skin, I still like using exfoliants to scrub away the dull, dry surface skin on my cheeks and remove some of the pore-clogging oil along my T-zone. Some exfoliators tend to be harsh on my sensitive skin, leaving it a bit red and/or irritated after use. So I love that this Embryolisse Exfoliating Cream is designed to be gentle; my skin feels soothed and refreshed after use, with none of the redness or irritation I've experienced with other brands. While some reviewers have commented that all of the product information is in French, the product I received has text in both French and English. (My review includes photos of all four sides of the box, both sides of the tube, and the English section of the included insert, in case anyone else receives a French-only version.) The front of the box is written in French and the reverse has the same text in English; the sides of the box have text in French with the English translation directly below it. And while the front of the product tube is written entirely in French, the back includes English translations. The directions specify: "Apply once or twice a week on wet skin by circular massage. Rinse thoroughly." Unlike other exfoliators I've used, which come out of the tube rather gritty and paste-like, Embryolisse's exfoliating cream dispenses and looks more like a lotion. One of my review photos shows a dab of the cream on my finger; it started running down my finger after a second or two, so I figured it would feel like a smooth lotion or cream on the skin. But sure enough, once I started massaging the cream into my skin, I could feel the very fine bamboo powder suspension gently exfoliating my skin. The scent of the product is equally light and pleasant. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the results I've achieved from using this Embryolisse Exfoliating Cream. It does a great job of leaving my skin feeling smooth, clean, and refreshed, and it's gentle enough that I feel comfortable using it twice a week even on my sensitive skin. At a little over 2 ounces (60 ml), it's also a pretty good value for the price. Highly recommended! Less

very moisture

A very good product that effectively clean the makeup only face and leave with moisture, not sticky at all. The smell is nature and light. Sensitive skin friendly. Especially good for dry skin. Better than any other products that I tried before. Will buy it again, again and again!

Meh

I'm glad I got this cream on sale rather than for full price, but even then I feel like I paid too much. It is the most meh cream I've ever used. Reminds me of any other basic cream you can buy for at any random supermarket or drugstore for a fraction of the price. I wouldn't repurchase.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE

I tend to get oily throughout my T Zone especially with liquid foundations. I use hydra mat on myself and clients and love it! Gives you a matte finish without excessive dryness.

Great for Combination/Oily Skin

I am now on my 2nd tube of this moisturizer. It has worked really well for my combination skin (oily t-zone). I really love that it moisturizes my skin, but still leaves a matte finish. I will definitely continue to purchase this. Best of all...these products are not tested on animals and that is very important to me.
