Finally in love with bronzing!

Sorry for such a long review but I had to.I bought the color 'Deep' in this bronzer. I was skeptical because most reviews complained about the shimmer but for $2 I decided to give it a shot. In the pictures online Deep looks like a very dark browny shimmery bronzer with a lot of red in it. In person, on a maybelline fit me smooth&hydrate shade 240 skin tone, it is perfection! It is a true brown, goldeny shade with hints of red but not unnatural/overwhelming. I finally feel like I have found the perfect bronzer for me, it is the most favorite step in my makeup routine now. This shade isnt too orange/warm/cool-toned but just right in the center of all those tones imo. Formula is very pigmented and there is some shimmer in the pan but i think thats actually perfect when applied as it translates as a natural radiance on the skin, rather than looking too powdery, matte and kind of artifically 'bronzed'. I apply this with the elf large stipple brush and it looks airburshed and natural and never heavy. Since it is so pigmented I do the slightest tap of the brush on the product but no swirling. I enjoy buildable bronzers but I almost appreciate this pigmentation because I can get a lot of color for the smallest amount of product, so it really blends and unifies with the skin. Doesnt feel like a powder product sitting on top of the skin (shimmer also helps with that finish). I sometimes also like to apply this bronzer when I am wearing no makeup because it really helps liven up the skin tone and frame the face...and manages to look so natural that it doesnt look weird wearing bronzer alone with no other makeup on if you know what I mean. As a medium-dark skintone I didnt understand the power and importance of bronzer in my makeup routine until this year, and this elf bronzer has highlighted that power the most. I have already bought backups. If you are a medium and even dark skin tone with warm or olive undertones, give this a try. Its a stellar product. Less

Great product; doesn't work on very fair skin

I absolutely love the intense, golden bronze color of this. I was told this was good for fair skin. Not mine, though. My skin is very fair, and this is too dark for me to use as a bronzer. I think it will look beautiful as a bronzer of medium skin tones, and as a highlighter on darker skin tones. I can use it to highlight my cheeks for a sunkissed(of course) look. it looks stunning on the eyes as lid shade, or highlight for the browbone or inner corner. The texture is soft with very little fallout, and it blends easily. The packaging is simple, but sturdy enough to keep in your purse or makeup bag.

Super Easy Blush To Apply

I bought two shade of this blush on ELF's website when it first launched. The formula is so incredibly smooth feeling and applies to skin without skipping or ever looking patchy. The color does apply slightly lighter on the skin than it appears in the pan, but I found this aspect one of the things I loved most. It never turned "clown cheeks" on me and I was able to apply it without worrying that was going to go too far. It builds nicely if you want more color. There are a few more shade's out there than Ulta is carrying right now so there is also an option for most skin tones.

Mind-Blowing & Stunning!

This has to be one of elf's best products of the year if not their entire line. I purchased the Always Cheeky color, a soft light coral on my skin tone, which gives it a very subtle flush and natural glow. I use it over the new jelly highlighters with beautiful results. Considering it's the lightest color of this bunch, it is quite pigmented and easily buildable. Not to mention, it lasts all day on me since it has primer in it. I'm considering the other colors for summer when I have a tan. Would love to see a bright pink and peach color for summer. Not to mention, I wish it was a compact with a mirror but certainly not a deal breaker!

No Pigment. Just Glitter.

The shade Blushing looks darker than it actually it. It went on sheer so I decided to use it as an eyeshadow but couldn't do that even with a white base because it has no pigment. It does however have a nice concentration of glitter I found pretty so I decided to use it on top of on another blush. I tried using it on someone who was lighter than me(for reference I'm a 120 in the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation) and it didn't show up on them either.

Anyone know some good, cheap bronzers and blushes? I don’t like them suuuuper pigmented, but good enough to show yet still be natural

This bronzer and the blushes are amazing and super pigmented! Personally, it’s all about the tools. The product can be amazing but it’s how you apply them and what you apply them with that make them work the best for your skin and with other products💕

I just recently started using this one! I’ve always used the hoola bronzer and don’t get me wrong I love it but it does get pricey. I gave this a try after seeing good things and I really like it! It’s a matte bronzer so it’s really nice to contour with & stays on very well & super cheap!!
