under eye

good for under eye

this has to be my favorite setting powder for under the eye, i only wish it was bigger so its easier to get my brush into, i love how this makes my skin look an feel, it illuminates without any glitter or a lot of shimmer, it just makes you help look awake all day when you set your under eye concealer with this, it doesn't provide extra cover which i love, it also helps to not crease, this is the best under eye setting powder and its super affordable

- Elfcosmetics User

i must say that this is the best product i've ever used for under eye setting

- Elfcosmetics User

its fantastic, keeps my concealer from creasing and has a small amount of shimmer which reflex's the light keeping my eye area looking bright and fresh

- Elfcosmetics User

i use it first to keep eyeshadow and liner in place, and the light glitter touch, just brightens it up nicely

- Elfcosmetics User

blends well

it goes on easily, blends well, kills the shine, and gives just the right amount of coverage-- it even seems to sort of "blur" blemishes and fine lines

- Elfcosmetics User

**through trial and error i've found the perfect brush to apply a very tiny amount with, a small and fluffy eye shadow blending brush (e25)

- Elfcosmetics User

staying power

love, love, love this because i can use pencil liner all around my eyes again without worrying about it smearing, and be confident my undereye concealer will stay in place all day

- Elfcosmetics User

it does not settle into fine lines or wrinkles, it lasts all day, and there is no visible sparkle unless you maybe put a magnifying glass to your face

- Elfcosmetics User

color correction

color correcting

it prevents foundation/concealer/bronzer powder (all of which i use to get the dark lines hidden and color correct) from caking with just a light dusting over the other makeup--and it lasts all day and right until early morning

- Elfcosmetics User

i can use any of my favorite color correcting concealers under my eye

- Elfcosmetics User

no flashback

i love it because it makes sure my concealer doesn't crease and there's no flashback

- Elfcosmetics User

it's great for setting, but can make your eyes look ashy in photos

- Elfcosmetics User

this product, when applied the right way, absorbs the oil and makes my skin still look smooth

- Elfcosmetics User

it worked really well to keep my skin matte and soaked up any oil that came throughout the day (im combo-oily skin)

- Elfcosmetics User

pore minimizing

pore minimizing

after i apply my liquid or cream foundation i finish off my face with this powder, and it leaves a smooth pore-less finish that i absolutely love

- Elfcosmetics User

i get an even, poreless look that holds for ~6 hours

- Elfcosmetics User

i did once apply a little heavy and it was a bit cakey, but i learned my lesson

- Elfcosmetics User

and the "new packaged" formula cannot be used for touch up because it just gets really cakey

- Elfcosmetics User

best use

not only does it set my makeup beautifully, but it doesnt crease, lasts forever(it lasted through a night of drinking, 2 showers, an emotional breakdown, and a full 8 hours of sleep the first day i used it), leaves my under eye soft and smooth feeling, and most importantly doesnt cause my eyes to become agitated

- Ulta User

it does not crease and blurs away any imperfections wit ease

Fantastic product!

This product is even better than I expected. When used on top of undereye concealer, it seriously covers everything and makes you look airbrushed (but not cakey or powdery). Trust me, I have some serious undereye bags that even the best concealers can't hide, but when I put this on top, they're barely noticeable. Also, this works great as a setting powder for eye shadow and as a highlighter for oily skin. I lightly brush it around the corners and on the bridge of my nose, above and above the arches of my eyebrows and it looks much better than any actual highlighter I've used. It's especially good for oily skin because it mattifies (since it's a powder) but since it has a tiny touch of shimmer, it highlights without making you look shiny or greasy. End result = fresh, glowy, matte skin. Yay! Speaking of the shimmer, don't be put off by the amount of sparkle you see in the product. Yes, it looks really sparkly in the container. But when you apply it, the shimmer is honestly undetectable. Like I said before, it just looks glowy, not sparkly. « less

Absolute Favorite!

I've gone through a few of these and I absolute love them. It's personally my favorite e.l.f. product. It really does mattify my face and it matches my skintone extremely well. It's also really helpful for stubborn red spots that my liquid concealers cannot completely mask and fully covering the veins around my eyes. It also helps by making my face not look too flat if I'm wearing heavier foundation while still adding that matte effect. I can however definitely see how this would not be super versatile for someone who isn't fairer skinned! I am very fair skinned so it works amazing for me personally though. I actually do use the sponges as well despite being someone who normally prefers brushes. Overall, I cannot recommend enough. If I only wear one product out of the house it's this one! Plus, I'm someone with dry skin and it does not appear cakey or creased at all which is something I struggle with a lot as far as foundations and other powders, and it lasts me all day. Less

This is one of those I-would-pay-$40-for-this-but-oh-my-God-it's-$3 products from elf. Just an incredible product. Throw away that tiny brush it comes with (or use it for eyeshadow) and pick up a basic triangle sponge. Seems weird, I know, but after I put on my yellow correcting concealer and then my annoyingly expensive regular concealer, I dip a sponge into this setting powder and dab it underneath my eyes and it's like an eraser. Everything suddenly looks soft and natural under there, instead of purple/yellow/insane like it normally does. The concealer suddenly blends better and the dark circles there stop sucking the light out of the room and instead start reflecting it back. Not to mention, it helps my concealer stay where it should be. I have oily skin and all of my makeup tries to wander so I'm especially well versed in setting powders of various types. I ALWAYS have an unopened back up of this powder. « less

JUST WORKS! So fine!

Overall: it's not just worth it as a $3 undereye setter but it's better than other high end splurges I've made. It just works. I'm SO HAPPY!Product: the consistency of powder is very fine. Finer than bare minerals veil or Clinique's translucent finishing powder. It's very lightweight and it sets my concealer perfectly. (Also there's no glitter, which older/"most helpful" rated reviews say). My concealer doesn't crease at all.Use: I use it to set my under eyes and on my SMILE lines if I wear foundation. I have blue/green veins under my eyes (on the outer edge of my orbits, above that cheekbone arch) so sometimes I just wear concealer on the under eyes, right where it can crease up. But not anymore. Also really helped create a seamless transition between the concealed under eye and my bare skin. Also since my skin is dry except sometimes on my nose and between my brows, I've been throwing this in my little cross body bag when I go out to use as a touch up powder and it works great (matte).Color: It has a white peachy/pink cast looking at it but it applies on "colorless" to white. Sort of how when you apply baby powder to the skin and its sheer but it's white (except not that opaque and dramatic). It ends up giving a matte brightening effect.Packaging: So the size is small (very small) but I've been using it for a month and I won't need to replace for a long while. And like I already said, perfect size to throw in your bag. Now this little baby jar packaging is adorable but there's something about the shape and the finely milled powder that makes it a little messy (but it's a loose powder). But you don't have to worry about it if you toss it in your bag or anything. And if you get it on a black dress, brush it right off- it won't leave that fall out residue like other powders. « less

So Upset!!!

*Fair to Light Skin w/ Moderately Dry Skin*I bought this product because of the awesome reviews it had on eyeslipsface.com, amazon.com, and pretty much all over youtube.com. I AM SO UPSET WITH THIS PRODUCT!!!!The packaging says "translucent mattifying powder", so I'm expecting a translucent powder!!!Sadly the product was NOT a translucent powder. I used this over my concealer, under my eyes (I used a purple concealer by W7 to brighten my dark circles, and a Max. coverage concealer in ivory by ELF). When I applied just a small amount, it literally erased all the work I had just completed. The translucent powder turned my bright eyes to the same color as my foundation :(I haven't used this product since because I gave this to one of my friends, BUT she looks absolutely gorgeous (she has medium beige skin w/ oily skin). I think this product is made mostly for darker ladies.Fair skin gals, don't even bother with it. Less
