it literally lasts all day, because later, we went to the mall

this eyeliner, when used with an eyelid primer, stays on handsomely, even through an intense workout

not smudging

pros: pigmented, creamy, long lasting, pitch black (it actually glides on black and not grayish like maybelline's gel liner)con: it can smudgeto help the smudging i put primer on my eyes

- Target User

used to use just pencil tried out liquid which i love the look but have a difficult time applying i have very long ladies and the tend to catch the color but i just tried these creme liners and came back to order in every color so easy to apply i am in love and i am an eye rubber and all day no smudges i even put in and removed contacts and lines and wing part still perfect

- Walgreens User

while putting on an eyeshadow on the eyelid when the eyeliner was already applied the pigment was kinda fading, but overall i love this eyeliner its amazing it really is waterproof though it doesn't say it so this is something you should definitely get in the summer

- Walgreens User

every single one is highly pigmented, applies smoothly, is waterproof, and stays on all day

precise application

- Walgreens User

good stuff!!

I recently purchased this item in black in my first elf cosmetics haul. It is a great product and I would repurchase again and again. It goes on smooth and is my go-to tight lining product. It is also very good for creating the perfect winged eyeliner look. There is no need to build up the product as it is very pigmented. It waterproof formula stays all day with little smudging but it will smudge on the outer and inner eyes at the very end of the night. The brush is great at first but after that, it is very hard and tough..even after cleaning..Only real con is that the packaging is horrible..I mean, such a little product doesn't need such a large container. I still love this product!

Comparable to Bobbi Brown gel liners

I've got many many gel liners - MAC, Stila, Bobbi Brown, etc - and have found these to be nearly identical to Bobbi Brown liners in texture, staying power & ease of application, for a fraction of the price. I started collecting these earlier this year & now have 5 or 6 colors. Every single one is highly pigmented, applies smoothly, is waterproof, and stays on all day. No need to set them with powder. They don't flake, smudge or run under any circumstances. The only drawbacks to these liners are the size of the jar, and the fact that they dry out fairly quickly & shrink if you don't seal them well. I now place a piece of plastic wrap inside the lid of each every time I buy a new one. That keeps them very soft & fresh, indefinitely. They are also very small jars with very little product in them. If you compare these to the size of a Stila Smudge Pot, these are crazy tiny, size-wise & volume-wise. That being said, for those who can't afford higher priced products or simply don't want to throw money away on more expensive liners, these are a very good option that come in quite a few colors. I haven't yet tried one that I haven't liked. They're very good quality for the price. As far as removing them goes, it's very simple. Saturate a cotton pad with avocado oil, olive oil or makeup remover, hold over your eye makeup for 10-15 seconds & wipe it away. Very easy, with no pulling & tugging necessary & no special eye makeup remover needed. Incidentally, I never use the brushes that come with them because it's impossible to get a thin line with them. I prefer my angled liner brush to the ones ELF includes in the package.

Extremely disappointed. Obviously didn't expect much for the price, but certainly did not expect my eyes to get irritated and the places where I applied the eyeliner to get swollen and develop bumps... This has never happened with any other eye product for me. The application is not smooth either. Colour is dark as night, but does not transfer to eyelid, at which point it kind of smears. Ironically, stayed on through my shower and facewash. So I guess if you really lather it on it might be ok?? If you don't get a rash that is.

YES x100000000000

I got this to use on my waterline with low-ish expectations. I mean, it's a cream eyeliner for [$]! How much cheaper can you get? So when I received it in the mail, I used a precision brush to apply it. I loved the color, so I used it in my crease and blended it out. I went swimming afterward, rubbing my eyes and crying cause of the dirt in the water. It stayed on like a charm. Also, I like it because I was sweating all day long. It's the hottest it's ever gotten up here in Maine. In Portland it was a hundred degrees, and I was sweating all flipping day. No smudging

When I first ordered this eyeliner, I could not find the best brush to apply it. Since I have found that the Studio Line brush in small percision is the best! My liner dried up REALLY fast, though. I went browsing online and found that I should add about 3 drops of glycerin (found at Michaels in the cake aisle) and microwave for 30 seconds. Then mix it all together with and toothpick and press back into its original form with a brush. THIS HAS WORKED WONDERS! In fact, it's even creamier now! It's still completely waterproof. In fact, I cried my eyes out the other night and my liner DIDN'T BUDGE AT ALL! My ELF Mascara ran, but the liner was still on the next morning. It's just a fantastic product. I recomend it to everyone who is tired of liners that smudge. I do use it with the face primer and eye primer. It stays on my waterline all day. I have it in coffee and it's a nice daytime liner. When we are going out, I opt for black for a more dramatic color. I did have Midnight, but is was more of a soft black. Since I have Hazel eyes, I gave it to my friend with blue eyes. It's a great buy, especially sine I got it for half off!!

Does anyone know any cheap, good quality eyeliner?? Pencil or liquid are both fine, I just can’t find a long lasting one that isn’t over priced 😖
