The perfect addition to any collection!

I have been using this palette for a couple days now and I must say I received what I expected. I am someone who is very low maintenance when it comes to makeup. So a product has fallout-who cares, it's just powder. Too light-you can build the product until it's your suitable liking. So with that being my mindset, I have no complications with this product. The product itself did have fallout. I was although prepared for it due to other reviews. The fallout isn't bad to me personally since it is very easy to tap the fallout power into a trash can or dust it away.Texture: This palette was extremely smooth. The blushes were less buttery in texture to the highlight-but applying to the face was zero problem.Buildable/Blendable: The product CAN start off light depending on how much you pack on your brush itself before applying, but building it was no problem what so ever. This can be used as a subtle light look, but built up to an intense one as well. Blending wise, if you do not like the way it looks when first applying, you can definitely blend it out to a sheer touch of color to the face. I absolutely adore this quality for me personally since I often am very liberal with my blush application and like to blend out for a much softer look.Stain power: I do not wear setting sprays, and this palette had lasted all day on my face with the exception of one touch up after running errands all day. I believe with setting spray you could make this look last the entire work day or event .FANTASTIC PALETTE. I will be purchasing again! Less

Impressive and affordable

The formula is so smooth and glides onto the skin so well. I'm impatient with waiting for my foundation to dry and always end up with cakey powder when contouring because of this, yet this blends so smoothly even with slightly damp foundation. I love that the shades actually are a decent size so you can get a good use out of them. SO super soft and so pigmented. I don't know how they do it but i love it. The lightest shade works well for a slightly glowing highlight that isn't too intense if that's your scene. Also buildable so that's cool too.

This is my favorite contour pallet! It’s very easy to blend, good colors that work well with my light skin, and is cheap! Elf had been doing so good with product and this is so so worth the 10$

not very pigmented

I got this last week, I am not very happy with it. I have light skin, neutral undertone, light brown hair. The colors are kind of weird. The highlighter barely shows up with the brush, and looks kind of cakey and oily -- not happy with the formula. With a wet sponge it is even more cakey, and has this weird dark undertone, maybe the color just doesn't look good on my skin tone, it is almost ashen. The blush (or the one on the bottom right) is kind of yellowish, which I actually really like, and adds a warm, youthful glow. The contour part is fine. I was going to use this as an eyeshadow and face palette, but it really only works as a face palette. There is incredible fallout and you have to really work the product in. Overall, not that happy with it, and will mainly use it for blush and contour.I like the big mirror and the blush colors, when you manage to get enough product on. Contour works as contour, and that's about it, can't tell if it blends well or if there is just not a lot of pigment to begin with. Maybe it will work better on someone else's skin. Less

Great product for any colour of skin

I've been a loyal customer of e.lf. cosmetics since 2008 and since then I've seen many products come and go; many of the original $1.00 lines now $2.00 still selling on the site. Having an olive complexion, I can pull off fairer face products as well as darker ones depending on what they are. This palette in the Light/Medium is a tad to light for me so I use the Medium/Deeper one. I don't find the texture chalky but very smooth. I also don't use a heavy hand to apply it to my cheekbones and the outer areas of my forehead because it's very pigmented. Yay for pigmentation! But what I'd like to say to e.l.f cosmetics is to continue manufacturing makeup products for every skin colour; from the fairest to the darkest because your fan base includes every skintone from everywhere in the world! Less

Does anyone else find it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to blend liquid contour properly and actually have to turn out?! I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid contour cream kit plus the powder kit. But I almost feel like skipping the liquid contour part because I just can’t ever get it to blend properly. Any suggestions?

The Elf Contour Palette is my new obsession! It has two highlighter shades and two contour shades. I use the first contour shade as a bronzer and the second shade a contour in the cheekbones. I hope that helped you!💋

Best contour kit/brand? Need one that won’t soak into the skin or rub off. Also not orange or grey looking. Currently using benefit hoolah to bronze and contour for a natural contour but it just disappears into my skin after a couple hours 👎🏻
