Ultimate Kabuki!

I'm not a fan of kabuki brushes but this is just what it says - ULTIMATE!. I was surprised at the size. I thought it was going to be small. I can apply liquid foundation and it blends it in well. It's also good for HD powders, setting powders or pressed powders. I have not used it for contour. I have very dry skin and I don't like brushes that tug at my skin or disrupt my foundation when applying finishing powders. The brush is very soft on the face. It washed well but it did shed a little at first. When I washed it again and it was fine. It also had a new doll scent when I took it out of the package. Overall I like this brush quite a bit. I'll let you know about longevity later. I also bought one for my daughter.

Ok for the price, not really that pigmented nor long lasting. It is fine for a light and soft blush. user

Inexpensive noticeable blush

I have very fair skin so when I was reading reviews on the e.l.f. website, I made sure to purchase the lightest shade of pink available in this blush. I've always thought those colors were too pink and went darker with other brands, but they become far too dramatic for me. this color was perfect. I can blend it easily to match my very fair skin, but it still shows up. I have to use quite a bit for it to be noticeable, but I'm okay with that because it is cheap and has lasted for well over a year at this point. It truly does last a long time. Likewise, it isn't too shimmery. That was one major concern of mine with buying this, but the color is more matte than anything, which is perfect. I will definitely buy this again. user

I ordered something about a week ago and a mystery bag was included in it. I was so excited and when I opened my mystery bag, this was in it! I immediately started brushing my face with it. It is SO SOFT! It works amazing for blending, contouring and applying powder. It's one of the more expensive e.l.f. products but honestly it feels just as soft as any other kabuki brush that I've felt (i.e. at Sephora) and this is way cheaper for a better product. It is a little bit big, actually too big for my everyday makeup bag but that's okay because I'm going to keep this thing in it's packaging to preserve it's soft wonderfulness.Buy this brush. You need it more than you think you do.It's worth $10. I know I got it for free, but I was considering buying one anyway (decided to wait to see what I got in my mystery bag.) « less user

Blend blend blend!

I am a professional, and love this brush. The brush handle is big and easy to grab. If I need to give my makeups an extra "bump" of color, it is great with a blush or bronzer to warm up the face if it looks flat or too dull. Sometimes, an all matte look can look dull, and an extra addition of warmth can really pull it together. This brush is also very helpful with shading and highlighting a body makeup. Lots of bristles diffuse color nicely on the skin for flawless blending. I have a brush dedicated to every shading and highlight color, and that can be helpful in a hurry to just grab what i need. Even if you have only one of these brushes, it is great for an overall coverage of a mineral base, adding a subtle blush, or a general powder brush.

Anyone know some good, cheap bronzers and blushes? I don’t like them suuuuper pigmented, but good enough to show yet still be natural

Elf blush is really pigmented and looks really nice and blends very well on my skin. You don’t have to use a lot for it to work and is long lasting!

What are some good drugstore creme blushes? Preferably something easy to work with and lightweight.
