Hi everyone! I have dozens of lip balms and lip oils... smith’s rose salves, eos, Burt’s bees... so far aquaphor, neutrogena and dr. Paw paw have worked the best, but still seem to have dry lips and need to constantly apply lip balm. Any suggestions?
Recondmendatuons needed! I have had this cheek redness (both sides) for years, I don’t know if it’s rosacea, eczema, acne, or something else! And I have tried so many things to fix it (dr. Jart does NOT work) any suggestions on skincare products? Any idea what it is? #rednessrelief #seekingrecommendations #skincare #sensitive
Helllloooo ladies !! I am currently dealing with pregnancy acne or a bad result from using dr bronners citrus 18-in-1 wash (which burned my skin INCREDIBLY) anybody know any products for acne that are pregnancy safe? ✨🤰
I need a recommendation for a serum or treatment of some kind that reduces the appearance of pores. I use quite a few products on my skin but nothing has helped with my pores. I have normal skin. It’s not oily. No acne. I’m 37 but no wrinkles yet because I started young on skincare to fight wrinkles. Just large pores on my cheeks near my nose. Foundation really accentuates them. No drugstore brand recommendations please but I also can’t afford something that costs $75 or more. I’m looking for something in the middle with price range. I like brands Dr Brandt, Bioelements, Dermalogica, BareMinerals, Mario Badescu to name a few for skin care. I also like Korean products. Please help me! I’m desperate!
What do you guys think of the dr brandt skincare pore cleanser??? Or what do you guys use for your pores i need a new cleanser i try to go with no parabens or sulfates but im getting desperate let me know #pores #cleanser #facecare #facewash #skin #oilyskin

AMAZING SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN/REDNESS!
1: cleanse with dr bronners citrus orange soap MIXED with The Body Shop’s tea tree oil clearing facial wash. I get a little travel size plastic bottle and mix the two. I do this day and night for best results!!
2: use Witch Hazel on a cotton ball all over your face
3: after that’s dried a little use a small amount of aloe Vera all over. This helps with redness and soothes the skin amazingly!!!
4: for the moisturizer I use Vitamin E Oil all over. Can put on a cotton ball.
BEEN DOING THIS FOR ALMOST A MONTH, ACNE HAS CLEARED, DARK SPOTS FADED, AND REDNESS REDUCED SIGNIFICANTLY. SKIN IS LESS OILY OR DRY. !!USING VITAMIN E OIL WILL NOT MAKE OILER SKIN OILY! YOUR BODY MAKES YOUR SKIN PRODUCE MORE OIL WHEN YOURE LACKING IT!!! (BETTER DIET MAKES A DIFFERENCE TOO)

Any suggestions for an affordable retinol eye cream? I like the Dr. Brandt one, but it’s too expensive! #retinol #face #skincare #affordable #eyecream #drbrandt
Is the Dr Rosebucks “no worries” moisturizer light enough to put on in the mornings before makeup? Been thinking about buying it, but I want to be able to use it before makeup! Thank you!
Have any of you tried the Dr. Dennis Gross alpha Beta extra strength peels? I’m currently trying them and I can’t tell if my skin is just purging or if it’s seriously making my skin worst.
Okay so everyone knows that Vitamin C is a staple in the dermatology/skin care community (if you don’t you know now). Toted as an anti-aging antioxidant it has been used forever. When picking a product though, do you know what you’re getting?
There are many forms of vitamin C. The main two I’m going to compare is it L-Ascorbic Acid and Sodium Ascorblyl Phsosphate.
Okay quick grab your Vitamin C serum and look for the vitamin C ingredient they used, then look up the concentration (i.e 10%, 20%)
Okay so ASCORBIC ACID, is the most powerful version of vitamin C there is. I’ve seen a lot of articles that say it’s what you need for “effectiveness” but honestly it’s unstable. (There is research suggesting this as well).. with that being said it’s not the worse thing ever, just make sure your product is formulated correctly. When looking for L-ascorbic acid, it’s has to be 8-20% to make it effective and below a 3.5 pH . If you have acne or sensitive skin this also isn’t recommended, it’s toted by dermatologist as the strongest and while that is true it’s not necessarily needed for skin.
SODIUM ASCORBLY PHOSPHATE (SAP), it has a salt molecule attached to it allowing it to easily penetrate the skins lipid barrier. It’s not not associated with the irritation caused by L-Ascorbic acid and it’s more stable and allows longer shelf life. Comparing to L-Ascorbic acid it has be said to have a lower “effectiveness” which I find to be highly doubtful based on published medical studies and personal results.
When looking for the best Vitamin C product it should be mixed with
-Tocopherol (vitamin E)
-& Hyaluronic Acid
I currently use (Korean beauty) #Seoul Ceuticals - 20% Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Serum and I love it .. i find that sodium ascorbly phosphate (SAP) works better on my sensitive, acne prone skin. If you’re into something harder such as C E Ferulic by Skinceurtical (which I find EXTREMELY OVERPRICED @ $166) the dupe for that is Dr. Brenner C serum (can be found on amazon for $17.99 & #timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum 1 oz[products] . (Which I have not tried but am tempted to).
I also have used and loved #Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serumand #TruSkin - Vitamin C Serum
Just make sure to wear sunscreen after this product ☺️
I don’t have the money to go out and have one done, BUT I have found one that does miracles on my combo skin. Pretty sure Dr. Oz has gone over it, but I’ve seen it everywhere, so here goes. It’s a 10 min chemical peel, composed of about 6-12 aspirins and just enough lemon juice to create a paste. I’ve used this once, and my skin feels so smooth and soft and glossy! Most store bought face masks and such tear my skin apart, but this one is worth trying!
